We got married on 10/21/23 at Old York Road Country Club and could not be happier with our decision. From the first time we drove up the gorgeous tree lined lane that takes you to ...
the clubhouse, we were overwhelmed with the beauty and five star service we received. Our friends and family are still gushing a week later about how beautiful the grounds are, how perfect the ceremony, cocktail, and reception spaces were, and how delicious the food was! OYRCC is first and foremost a country club, but they throw one heck of a wedding! We are not members of the club, but this was not an issue when planning our wedding.
We had the great pleasure of working with Stephanie and her team for our big day. Stephanie, the venue event coordinator is incredible- she is a fantastic communicator and ensures every detail is carried out to perfection for your big day. She was everywhere for our big day- making sure the chairs were set out perfectly for our ceremony, h I’m elping escort guests to the patio for cocktail hour, making sure everyone got dinner in a timely fashion, and helping us clean up at the end. She is superwoman! I cannot say enough good things about the OYRCC staff- from the servers to the country club manager, every single person we met was incredibly professional and willing to help. We even had a small family emergency at the end of the evening, and the manager herself drove my family member to our hotel to ensure she arrived safely.
I cannot say enough about how perfect our day was at OYRCC. You can’t find a more beautiful and inclusive venue for this price. I would not hesitate to recommend OYRCC for your wedding!
Before choosing Old York Road Country Club (OYRCC), we toured multiple venues. And kind of like shopping for a wedding dress, when you know you KNOW!

e tree lined main drive immediately grabbed our attention and we couldn’t shake it from our mind. This venue felt different from the others we had seen and felt us! With two beautiful outdoor ceremony options (one uncovered and one covered), rooms for the bride and groom to get ready on different floors, and picturesque greens and fountains on the course, plus the beautiful trees, Old York Road Country Club had all we wanted! We especially loved the large windows in their ballroom looking over the greens (TONS of natural light!), and at night the twinkling lights of their terrace were so dreamy!
Jason was very attentive to all my questions during the planning process (and believe me, I had a lot), and made for such a smooth wedding day between him, Dominic, Jill and the rest of their attentive staff! We really felt like stars of the show and also felt like family by how attentive Jason and his staff were to all of us! Our family has nothing but great things to say about all the staff and how well they treated everyone. It was such a seamless day, and the OYRCC staff are so attentive, and made sure everyone has a great time and enough food and drink! There was one point during cocktail hour where some guests weren't getting hor d'oeuvres, and Dominic and Jason made sure the servers got to all our guests so they could enjoy the delicious food. Speaking of food: the entrees were delicious, and served at the perfect temperature to shovel into our mouths haha. My husband ate his chicken marsala so quickly that I didn't even get to steal a bite!
Thank you so much for all your hard work and attention during our wedding day. It was PERFECT!
We had our ceremony and reception at OYRCC on 10/6/18 and it was perfect! I could not have asked for a better wedding! Jason and the staff were amazing all of our guest complemente...
d everything the club had to offer and they still talk about the food. The grounds are just stunning and perfect for your wedding pictures. I am so happy that we had found OYRCC our wedding definitely would not have been the same if it was else where.
Our ceremony and reception at Old York Country Club was absolutely PERFECT. Melanie and Hank are true wedding/event professionals and took care of every last detail. Planning a wed...
ding from California seemed impossible, but Melanie made it so EASY. I wasn't even nervous or jittery on my wedding day because I completely trusted that Melanie and Hank had everything under control. The views and picture perfect landscaping at Old York made for the most beautiful wedding setting and the food was just ridiculously amazing.
Made my dreams come true!
Got married on November 5th at OYRCC. It was PHENOMENAL! from day one of planning, Donna (the planner at OYRCC) was so helpful. She always returned calls ...
and emails promptly, and would work hard to ensure that all of our special requests were honored! It was a versatile venue that could accommodate our big wedding. They had suggestions for vendors that they typically use, which made the process 'dummy-proof'. All of the staff were courteous and helpful. The food was great! Special thanks to Donna, Dominic, and Jill!!
We had the most amazing experience with OYRCC. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive throughout the process and worked seamlessly on our wedding day. Every single guest comme...
nted on how delicious the food was and how amazing the wait staff was for each table. Donna wasn't our original wedding planner, but she didn't miss a beat when she started at the club. Dom was awesome on the day of, keeping us on schedule and making sure we didn't miss a moment of the day. We especially loved the indoor-outdoor feel the terrace provided, which gave our guests some room to enjoy the late summer evening and chat while the band played. We would recommend OYRCC to any couple!
We had our entire wedding day at OYRCC. It was the best day ever! Toni, Jim, and Jill made sure the entire day went smoothly. Toni was extremely helpful and the wedding wouldn't ha...
ve happened without her. Any idea or thought I had she did it, they even allowed our dogs to come for some pictures!! The venue was absolutely beautiful, the trees in the long driveway were changing colors and the large red barn and stone buildings were beautiful settings for some great pictures. My husband and I didn't want to see each other before the ceremony, but we wanted to get as many pictures done as we could before hand. Toni made sure he and I didn't cross paths while going around the venue with the photographer. Jill was amazing, she made sure my husband and I were taken care of all night. You can't go wrong with this venue!!! Thank you so much for helping make our wedding day perfect!!!
Old York road country club made our day a relaxed and amazing affair. I reviewed thousands of places and reviews before choosing our venue so I wanted to ensure I wrote one to help...
others that are looking for a fantastic venue. We had our wedding and reception here and the backdrop made for amazing wedding photos! The bridal suite was a great perk so hair and makeup could be done onsite for my whole party. The groomsmen had their own spot as well ( for whatever it is they do to prepare) the attendants were so helpful and always on hand each step of the day. Thank you Old York Road Country Club!!
I just had my wedding reception at OYRCC and it was wonderful. My guests cannot stop talking about how beautiful the grounds were, the delicious food, especially the appetizers, an...
d how everything flowed effortlessly. One guest commented that she knew it was good service when she didn't even notice the servers, but her food was just right in front of her! The whole day was exactly how my husband and I had pictured it and we really would love to thank the staff, especially Toni, for making that possible. We had many little requests to make the day our own and everything went off without a hitch! Thank you, thank you, thank you for such an incredible day! I think the best perk for our bridal party was driving around in the golf carts while we took pictures!
We had both our ceremony and reception at Old York Road Country Club on May 9, 2015, and we were extremely happy with both! Old York Road was very easy to work with and willing to ...
work with us to make our day as special as possible. The day of the wedding, both the bridal party and the groomsmen had their own rooms and were well taken care of by the staff. The outdoor courtyard where we held the ceremony was beautiful - very well maintained, beautiful flowers blooming and the barn in the background made it perfect! The setup for the reception - with the bar and cocktail hour on the patio overlooking the golf course and the eating and dancing area inside - were great! It's a venue large enough to hold many people, but setup so it still feels cozy and warm. And the food - the food was fantastic! We were very surprised by the number of options we had for appetizers and the meals, and all of it was very good. We received many compliments from guests on the quality of the food provided. Overall, the decision to hold our wedding and reception at Old York Road was definitely the right one, and we would recommend them to anyone!

he search continued. Once we met with Joe Wurtz and toured the club we both walked out and knew it was the perfect venue for us! It had everything we were looking for; gorgeous landscaping, beautiful outdoor (covered!) cocktail space, large dance floor, rustic touches, golf course for my husband, and all at a reasonable price! Working with Joe and his staff was a pleasure as they were very organized and personable and always made us feel like a priority. On our wedding day, the service and attention to detail was beyond what we could have expected and our guests couldn't stop (and continue) to rave about how excellent the food was!
I can’t say enough how happy we were with our decision to have our wedding at Old York Road. I have and will continue to highly recommend to all my family and friends!
This is definitely a great venue if the weather cooperates. We had some rain in the morning, but it cleared up and the pictures are spectacular. Loved the golf carts and the terr...
ace. The only negative really was the fact that the bar was on the terrace, so many people spent their time outside and did not dance.
I have nothing but kind words for the staff at the Old York Road Country Club. Joe is a great salesman --- he had me booked before we even looked at other nearby vendors. And I'm g...
lad he did! Our family and friends are still raving about the food, over 2 weeks after the wedding. Not only is the food fantastic, the service is even better. Joe and Chelsea answered my numerous emails quickly and thoroughly (and "numerous" is certainly an understatement). Day of, Jill the Wedding Captain got absolutely everything we needed. The room was set up perfectly, everything we brought with us was where it needed to be, and everything was cleaned and packed up to be returned to us at the end of the night --- with zero effort from us, which was fabulous. They know what they're doing. You won't be disappointed!
They also do a great job of putting you in contact with other vendors --- which was key for us, since we were planning the wedding from out of town. Can't recommend them enough!
The best and most important thing I can say about OYRCC is that we did not have to worry about one single thing leading up to the wedding and on the day of the wedding. From top to...
bottom, the service provided throughout the entire process could not have been better as they handled everything. They were so quick to respond to any questions or requests that we had and they were unbelievable accommodating. We wanted to hire a ten piece band to perform at our reception and reached out to OYRCC to see if they could accommodate the band. My wife emailed OYRCC with the inquiry and Joe called us back within 30 minutes and had already walked through the reception room with his maintenance man with the band leader on the phone. On the actual day of the wedding the entire staff was amazing. All of our guests walked away from our wedding raving about the venue and the service. I would recommend OYRCC to anyone looking to get married in the Philadelphia Area. Strong 5 out of 5!

verything perfect and carefree. We dropped off our decorations and they took care of the rest. I can't even count how many times our guests asked how we found such a beautiful venue and everyone was raving about the food. Not only was the staff extremely pleasant to work with the the club members were very friendly, congratulating us and sharing their warm wishes through out the day. The patio attached to the reception space allows for extra room for guests through out the night and was something my husband and I were really looking for in a venue. We are so happy with how our wedding turned out and it wouldn't have been so perfect without the support of Old York Road Country Club's staff.
This is the motto of OYRCC, and they stand by it. Anything you need, they provide. They even reminded my new husband and I to sit and eat (you get so wrapped up you'd be amazed wha...
t you forget to do). For our signature drink, they got any ingredient we wanted and even practiced making the drink ahead of time so it was perfect (champagne-rita). The cost was amazing and the food is delicious. Everyone was raving about the food :-) The grounds are amazing and the bridal suite is perfect. I cannot say enough about how wonderful everyone was there. 100% recommend it! Best day of our lives!

d York Road Country Club is an absolutely gorgeous venue with incredible rates. I would very highly recommend OYRCC to anyone looking for a ceremony and/or reception venue.
Also, the food was amazing!! We received tons of compliments from our guests.

Colleen was a great help for ideas and always answered questions timely and thoroughly. Jill was also amazing on the day of and made sure we had everything we needed. The entire staff was so on top of things that I dint have to worry about a thing the day of. The food at the wedding was delicious and the recommendations for other vendors (cake, florist, photographer) made the planning much easier. I would definitely recommend this venue to other brides.
Its a beautiful site. Loved working with the staff at OYRC. The food was amazing and so were the drinks. Everyone had a great time!
I knew I loved OYRCC the second I pulled in. After our first few minutes meeting with Joe, my now hubby looked at me with the face of "Okay, looks like this is the last venue we vi...
sit!" Joe made it clear to us early on why we should choose Old York Road. And aside from all the details and planning, our decision to have our reception there was truly the best one we made all day - besides our commitment to one another :) Joe, Colleen, Jill, Ginnie, Stef.. Everyone we worked with was beyond attentive, thorough, patient, and understanding. We love Old York Road and highly recommend it to ANYONE!
My day was perfect because of them! It was beautiful and the grounds were amazing!

care of. The guests raved about the food and service. Everyone had so much fun! I couldn't have asked for a more perfect setting for my ceremony than the garden at the Country Club. Planning was seamless and the Country Club has partnerships with fantastic vendors, my flowers by Ginnie and cake by Ciao Bella were everything I could dreamed of. Many thanks to Joe and Colleen for helping me pull together the wedding of my dreams!!!

r the food - inventive yet budget friendly and delicious! But the service was top notch - quick return of phone calls, very accomodating on all fronts, even with extra last minute visits to try out the dancefloor the day before our wedding! The cake vendors & flower vendors OYRCC uses as part of the package were equally as great to work with for our wedding. Highly recommend them all!

ds! We had 6 kids in our bridal party and the staff kept them entertained with rides on the golf cart while the adults in the bridal party took pictures. The staff was especally attentive to the bride and groom. They brought several rounds of drinks and hors d'ourves out but I didn't get a chance to get any. Terribly hungry, I asked one of the staffmembers if there was anything left. 5 minutes later she rushed back with a plate filled with appetizers. She stood there and held them on a platter while I ate and she shooed away other people until I had eaten my fill. That is SERVICE!! The perfectly manicured golf course was complete with a beautiful tree lined drive. The pictures we took were AMAZING as a result. The food was divine. Chicken, salmon and filet mignon were served and everything was delicious. The food was better than some restaurants my husband and I have dined at. Everyone said that the food was delicious and even wanted to take some home!! All in all I would recommend Old York Road Country club to any bride. I want to get married again just to have my reception there again!!!!
