Sarah and her team at Olde Breton Inn (Baileys Catering) was wonderful to work with, COVID delaying us a year and all. The event space is beautiful, we did a heavy appetizer displa...
y (no formal sit down dinner) and our guests said the food was amazing and some of the freshest oysters they ever had. They were flexible with their scheduling, let us decorate the day before our event, and even solved a last minute linen crisis overnight. I cannot recommend them enough!
I had my wedding reception at Olde Breton Inn on December 9th and it could not have been more perfect! Throughout the whole process, they were great to work with. Especially Sarah...
! She always responded quickly to my inquiries and answered the tons of questions that I had those last two weeks before the Wedding. On the day of the wedding, everything went flawlessly. The setup was gorgeous and the food, servers, and bartenders were wonderful! I received so many compliments about the venue and food! We couldn’t have asked for a better or smoother day and would highly recommend Olde Breton Inn for any event!
The Olde Breton Inn is such a scenic and quaint venue. The open bar option is not just your standard open bar with rail drinks, they had just about everything you would want! Every...
one raved that the food was delicious ( the raspberry brie bites are to die for!), and the staff are very friendly and on top of things. They are definitely willing to work with you to make your day what you envision. The inside is a great venue for about 110 guests but I wouldn't recommend going over that.
Our daughter was just married at this venue. It is an old mansion perched on top of the hill overlooking the Potomac River. The view is breathtaking. There is a gazebo for the cere...
mony, a large deck with a pergola for the cocktail hour and a large room for the reception dinner. The staff worked with us on menu selections, including specialty wines. The wait staff and bartenders were very professional. The overall price was reasonable. I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others.
Bailey's catering is amazing! their food was the best in the area! they were very helpful with picking out the menu. I was on a tight budget and they were very accomodating. all of...
their servers were very nice and the bartender was great. all my guests said he poured great drinks, which was nice because we did a cash bar. also, had several guests tell me it was the best food they have ever had a wedding and that the view during the ceremony was one of the most beautiful they have ever seen. i am 26 and so everyone i know is getting married or is already married and so this meant a lot coming from my friends who have been to a lot of weddings. i totally recommend using this venue location and if not, at least use their catering service!
It had personality and character because it was an old manor house rather than some impersonal reception/banquet hall. It was very elegant-looking and had a great view. They also...
had a horshoe-shaped head table big enough for our wedding party and their spouses/dates.;The dance floor is rather small. Although they say they can seat up to 170, at 140 we felt tight. It would be better to keep seating to 8 people per table with 15 or fewer tables.
delicious food good open bar service cozy environment waterview from windows outdoor gazebo for pics (but it rained on my wedding day);can be tight space wise for >100 people
