We used Oliva for our rehearsal dinner and it was the perfect venue! So cool being able to have cocktail hour outside before moving inside for dinner. The food was also delicious h...
owever you had to pay extra to do a tasting. The planners were also a little difficult to deal with and not the best with communication.
Absolutely beautiful setting for a rehearsal dinner -- and the food was delicious. They really let us customize the menu, seating and decorations, too.
LOVE LOVE LOVE! Hidden gem on The Hill in St. Louis! I truly believe it was fate that brought my husband and I to have our wedding ceremony at Oliva on The Hill and our reception a...
t La Verona at the Marketplace on 8.28.21! I have received so many compliments on how beautiful the venue was, in fact it has so much to offer you can spend less money on flowers and decorations. The service during the seated dinner was outstanding! Planning a wedding is so stressful, however, you are provided a venue wedding coordinator to help ensure a smooth process at the venue. I keep hearing "It was the best wedding I've ever been too." I could not be happier! :)
After much frustration with venue scheduling & rescheduling my daughter & her fiancé chose this venue first for just the receptions& then for the ceremony too. Tina was marvelous &...
responded to all of our concerns. The ceremony & reception were perfect. In the end we couldn’t have asked for anything better. The food was delicious & the service was friendly & very professional. We definitely feel like we got what we wanted & paid for.
If you're looking for a venue like Oliva on the Hill that can accommodate a bigger wedding - look no further than Oliva's sister venue, La Verona! My husband and I had a cocktail ...
buffet style wedding reception and had a great experience. Initially, the venue was going to be our rehearsal dinner venue. However, we had to make changes with Covid and Catering St. Louis helped us do that seamlessly. The only difficulty we had at times was getting in contact with our contact person in a timely manner.
The ambiance and style of the venue leaves you with hardly any work to add decorations. We lucked out with an incredible weather, and our guests absolutely loved the outdoor space with fire pits, a bar, and plenty of seating (the only disadvantage to this is your guests aren't forced onto the dance floor, if you want your dance floor to be full all night). To add to all of this, Catering St. Louis does an incredible job with the food. Guests loved it! I would highly recommend this venue! I would use it over and over again.
Oliva on the Hill was the perfect wedding reception venue! Boy did they deliver - from the food, to the coordination, to the details and decorations - it was all perfect! The venu...
e itself is so impressive and cbeautiful - a little Tuscan oasis with indoor and outdoor seating and bars. We had the best time and would recommend this venue for ANY event!
We had a lovely and fun wedding rehearsal at Oliva last week. They worked with us on providing a "safe" environment with flexible seating options for social distancing, and modifi...
ed our original plan to serve family-style with a buffet where they served us (so multiple people did not touch the utensils).
The atmosphere was perfect with the glow of candles all around - the courtyard for the cocktail hour was beautiful and very pleasant in spite of warm temperatures. The servers were very attentive and the food was scrumptious! The cappuccino creme brulee is a must!
Oliva was the perfect spot for our fall wedding. We had about 100 people at our wedding and it never felt crowded or cramped. The outside space was beautiful for our ceremony and...
the staff quickly had it set up for cocktail hour and dancing after dinner. If you are looking for an elegant space this is it! The venue does not need a lot of decorating because it speaks for itself. The owner and staff are nice and extremely helpful ( Alaynne was the best event coordinator!) and the food was delicious. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful place to get married.
