Katelynn and her team did an amazing job helping my husband and me bring our wedding to fruition! She was always responsive over email with questions throughout the planning process, kept us on track with regular planning calls, and on the day of, oh my gosh, she made sure 1001 little details came through. With their little wagon and their smarts, Olive Street Events can do it all!
Booking Olive Street events was one of the BEST decisions we made during our planning process. We used Katelynn and her team for month of planning, but we were able to contact her way before the wedding month with questions, ask for guidance on contracts, and she provided us with wonderful materials to keep us on track. On the big day, I couldn't imagine going through it with out Katelynn and Terry there! They kept us totally on schedule and made the day so stress free so we could just be in the moment! If you are even considering a planner DO IT and BOOK OLIVE STREET! We truly couldn't recommend them more.

I loved working with Katelynn and Brittany! Every step of the way they were so helpful with my many questions, providing quick responses and doing research on my crazy ideas. On the day of the wedding when I felt sick, they were right next to me with ginger ale and crackers and provided anything I needed throughout the day. It really felt like working with friends.

We were absolutely thrilled with the wedding planners from Olive Street and would enthusiastically recommend them. Kate has such a gift of listening and reading people, she was able to bring us vendors that not only fit our budget, but fit US as a couple. Every meeting was organized, well-researched, planned and on time. We appreciated the time and attention she showed us through the planning stages, responding to every email promptly.
As a same-sex couple we wanted to find wedding planners that supported our decision to marry and who would find us vendors that supported us. Olive Street delivered, triumphantly.
The day itself was better than we could have dreamed it. Olive Street designed the backdrop for our elopement ceremony beautifully, as it was in an untraditional hotel space. It was intimate and breathtaking. On the day, they handled everything so we could enjoy our morning getting ready together. They showed such an apt touch to manage everything, keep us informed and moving, while still allowing us the space to feel like it was an elopement, just the two of us. It meant the world!
Kate and Brit are the best of the best. We hired them for partial planning for our wedding and they helped to make the process so easy and stress free. From helping to keep us on track with booking vendors, to design services, to timeline creation, vendor follow ups and confirmations, to being by my side on the wedding day, I couldn't have done it without them. I highly recommend them!!

If you are planning a wedding, the best decision you could make would be to use Olive Street Events as your wedding planner! Not only were Katelynn & Britt extremely fun to be around, they were so professional and efficient in helping the day run smoothly. We worked with Katelyn for the months leading up to our wedding and she was so helpful with making sure we were accomplishing everything we needed to on time, and always sending us tips and tricks to assist with the planning! We were not local to our venue, and Katelynn even went on her own to see our venue space and FaceTimed us in for the tour! When it got closer to our wedding she coordinated timelines with all of our vendors and helped us with a master timeline which made us feel so confident that things would run smoothly on the day of, which they did! On the day of they handled absolutely everything that we just got to relax and enjoy every second of our favorite day! All of our vendors also had nothing but great things to say about them! I feel so grateful to have had Olive Street Events as a part of our planning process and wedding day, they are the BEST!
We worked with Katelynn as our wedding Day of Coordinator- but don’t let the “day” title fool you. She was involved as soon as we booked her over a year out from our wedding. Immediately Kate sent us resources to keep us on track with planning, checked in regularly, and worked closely with us months before to make sure everyone (including us and our vendors) were on the same page. She attended many vendor meetings with us to ensure she knew of any updates or changes, and she provided creative ideas on how to bring some of my vision to life. On the day of the wedding, I was so calm knowing Kate and her team would handle everything. My husband and I had the best day, and I know Olive Street was critical to it’s success!
Can't recommend Kate and Britt more highly! They were a pleasure to work with directly, great at supporting our calls with third parties, and attentive/thoughtful throughout.
We were supported with our selected vendors and planning for the wedding starting about 6-9 month before. From design to execution, the Olive Street team was top-notch. They were also very willing to answer our many questions and very available by email, text, or call.
Our wedding day could not have gone smoother and we got to focus on enjoying the wedding. Day of, Katelynn worked extremely hard to coordinate everything and took care of details large and small. At a certain point, she was even under my dress during cocktail hour making sure my bustle was done correctly. We got comments from friends and family saying how professional and on top of things the whole planning team seemed to be. They managed to be both directive and attentive without being obtrusive and helped us to really relax and enjoy our day with confidence. It was all we could've asked for - thanks again!
I cannot express enough how much we loved working with Kate and Britt. They went above and beyond to make our wedding day better than we could have ever imagined! No matter what questions we had (and sometimes even at crazy times during the day or night leading up to the wedding), they were always responsive and helpful. We booked Olive Street Events for their event management service and just wow! We wouldn’t have had the wedding we dreamed of if it wasn’t for them. They made sure all our needs were met, put all the finishing touches on everything, and calmed on nerves the week leading up to the big day by being super responsive and supportive to our questions and met with us at our run through and rehearsal. They went beyond and above and did some tasks day-of that honestly weren’t sure we would be able to get done without them. They are rock-stars!
I met Britt and Kate at my older siblings wedding. They did such a good job, I hired them for my own wedding. For a day of coordinator service, I think I was spoiled.
We had multiple meetings and touched base many times months and weeks before my day. I honestly felt that I had a wedding planner haha. The spread sheets and documents provided helped me stay organized, which I LOVED.
Britt was there for me during some horrible times with my inlaws. She provided me with different options and ideas that could be done to accommodate their ridiculous demands, but also gave me the reassurance that I was making beyond reasonable choices. She helped ground me when I thought I would lose it and very VERY professionally made it through probably the worst rehearsal she's ever been a part of. She handled it with ease and kept things moving.
Kate was a blast during my wedding and made sure that my bridal party and myself had everything we needed. She made clean up/item pick up the next day a breeze.
Honestly there shouldn't even be a choice between Olive Street and anyone else. Best choice of my wedding was to have these two women with me.
My husband and I had a great time working with Katelynn and Britt throughout our wedding planning process. We were living abroad while planning the wedding and hired Olive Street Events for their partial planning services to help us plan and execute our April 2023 wedding - I'm so glad we did! Katelynn is personable, organized, and hands on. She helped me sort through so many vendor options to find the ones that were right for us, and Britt pulled together a beautiful design deck to condense our ideas into a comprehensive and beautiful design for execution. They were both indispensable day-of with overseeing the set up and take down of our vision, directing vendors coming on-site, and making me and my family feel special and cared for the entire day.

Kate and Britt are truly the best wedding planners we could have asked for. We picked a venue that required us to hire EVERY vendor and they were seriously the only reason the wedding happened. They found and coordinated all of our vendors seamlessly. They scheduled countless meetings with us leading up to the wedding to make sure we were on track and planning the wedding of our dreams. They made themselves available at all times of day. My husband and I have crazy schedules as Residents and they were happily ready to Zoom with us at 8p at night when we got home from work.
Not only were they amazing leading up to the wedding, but the support and coordination they provided the days of our Welcome Party and the wedding was perfect. I was not worried at all throughout my wedding weekend because I knew Kate and Britt were taking care of everything for us.
In addition to being fantastic wedding planners, they are simply amazing people. Their work speaks for itself, but their willingness to go the extra mile is unmatched. They are undoubtedly the best wedding planners in the Philadelphia and New Jersey area!

I was so shocked that they made everything we were thinking of for our wedding come to life within our budget. So happy I decided to use Olive Street Events for my wedding! It was the perfect level of help (and at a reasonable price) and Katelynn was always happy to answer questions or help me brainstorm if I couldn’t find a vendor or needed ideas. If anything went haywire the day of I have no idea because they did such a great job handling all of the coordination. Would definitely recommend them for wedding planning!

My husband and I got married over the summer of 2022 and we highly recommend Olive Street Events. Kate and Britt helped us through the entire planning process with their full service planning and design package. Everything from our first meeting to the day of, Kate and Britt put our minds at ease and were so incredibly helpful in every aspect. We were planning our wedding with them for a year and a half and at no point did we feel like we were behind on anything. We never felt pushed or rushed. Their team was very friendly and so easy to work with. I honestly was dreading the planning process and it could not have been more of an enjoyable time working with them. Being a gay couple we wanted to go down more of an untradional route for our big day and their team was super attentive to what we wanted, and especially what we didn't want, and the suggestions for venues/vendors + designs we received were great. Each vendor they suggested was also so kind and fun to work with which helped to make the day of our wedding truly magical. We ultimately held a reception with 100 people and almost every single person told us it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to. All thanks to Kate and Britt. People say to expect at least 3 things to go wrong during your wedding. The team from Olive Street Events and our vendors handled everything so well that if anything did go wrong, neither my husband or I (or any of our guests) noticed. We cannot recommend Kate and Britt enough. I am so thankful we found them early in our planning stage and I can't imagine our big day without their help.
don’t even know where to begin with how amazing Britt and Kate from Olive Street Events are. From the start of our planning process a year out to the day of our wedding Britt was there every step of the way. She helped guide us and provided so many cool ideas for our big day (disco balls!!!). She was always available via email/text and was always super patient with us (my husband, mom and I do not have an eye for decor).
The day of Britt and Kate were literally the MVPs. Britt sent out a super detailed and helpful day of plan (literally minute by minute) for both my husband and I as well as our bridal party. They coordinated vendor arrivals and departures as well as set-up and break down of everything. Everything went so so seamlessly and according to schedule. The decor was beyond what I could ever imagine. They truly made our vision come to life. Not to mention- during pictures Britt was legit hand feeding my husband and I our cocktail hour food to make sure we were able to eat and enjoy it. They always made sure we were both taken care of the entire night. We truly would not have had the day we had without them. If you are on the fence about hiring a professional planner…it is a must and the ladies at olive street events are the best in the business- I will recommend them over and over again! Would absolutely recommend Olive Street!! We reached out to them in a bit of a panic — our wedding was ~8 weeks away and we knew we had a lot to do but didn't know what / how / when we were going to do it. Katelynn immediately sent us planning documents and got on the phone with us to go through details of what was done and what was still needed -- her experience showed, and we felt instant relief. In the weeks leading up to the wedding and on the day, that feeling didn't wane -- she was kind and patient with all of the many people involved in the wedding and expertly coordinated them and kept them updated. She brought solutions when issues arose, and she was flexible and adaptable as things changed or didn't go according to plan. Ultimately, Katelynn was reliable, super competent, flexible, positive, and adaptable. I felt like I could truly trust her, and she delivered!!

Britt from Olive Street was my day of coordinator and also helped with some ideation during planning… and I just have to say, I’m so so happy that I chose to work with them. Britt was one of those people who feels like your good friend the first time you talk, she is real, funny, organized has great vision for decor and on such a special day, you need someone with all those characteristics to make everything happen but also to keep everyone feeling calm and comfortable at the same time. If you care about the details and making your guests feel like they are walking into an experience and not just a typical wedding, then you should chose to work with Olive Street. Down to every detail Britt made our vision come to life and we are so thankful for everything she did to make that day amazing. Britt just gets it… if you work with her, you will not be disappointed
OSE is the BEST!!!! I could go on and on. Katelynn was amazing to work with from start to finish! From steaming my dress, to keeping us on time, to getting me chap stick in moments notice when I was suddenly in dire need lol. Hard to even consider her a "day-of-planner" as she was with us every step of the way since being brought on months in advance of our wedding day. Britt, Katelynn, and their team definitely made our day much easier. The comprehensive checklists originally provided when we first signed with them were helpful with keeping us moving in our planning. They were also very receptive when it came to general questions, vendor recommendations, and changes to things. They started providing us assistance well before their written start date in the contract, which helped in the long run. It was nothing major, but relieved some stress up front and helped us collect thoughts.
There were a few hiccups when it came to our timeline coordination with our other vendors that needed correcting on all fronts, but overall it got resolved and everything went smoothly on our wedding day.
All of the vendor communication was done for us, which was a big help as it was something that was off our plate, allowing us to focus on finalizing details. We were also constantly being tended to on our big day as one of the team members was always present and available.
Overall, it was a great experience working with Katelynn, Britt, and team and we'd certainly recommend them to others looking for "day-of" planners.

They went above and beyond, working with us months leading up to our big day, managing vendors, helping us stay on top of our planning, keeping a close eye on constantly changing COVID requirements and soothing the nerves of anxious parents. Because of Britt and Kate, our wedding day was completely stress free and truly the best day of our lives. We cannot thank them enough!
When I first reached out to Olive Street, I was in a panic. I had undertaken wedding planning all on my own, and despite it being a small event with not too many frills, I was burnt out and overwhelmed. My call with Britt was such a relief. She understood exactly what I needed -- no full service planning, but someone to step in and help place our florals on the table, fill in the gaps where I would normally have a second set of hands from a bridal party I chose to omit, and guide me in the week/day of process where payments were due and confirmation calls had to be made, and seating and catering and timelines organized.
They went above and beyond.
Kate and Britt checked in on me throughout the process, putting me at ease and letting me know that, yes, it feels like there's absolutely zero time before this event, but no worries everything will get done. They were the liaisons between myself and my vendors, asking questions I didn't know to have, and catching things I would have otherwise missed or goofed up. They took what was becoming a source of anxiety and a burden I was just ready to get over with back to something that was exciting! Every time I felt silly about passing on something more traditional or wanting to do a weirder option, they supported me and helped figure out the exact logistics of making my vision work. The day of, they were my eyes and ears on the ground, helping me make a last minute rain-call and assisting with bustling my dress, making sure I didn't die of dehydration after I was finally able to chill out and have fun!!!
I cannot even begin to explain how much they saved my sanity, and how exceptional and organized and just lovely the two of them were. They even tackled the worst part of all of the planning-- filling out all of those endless contact forms between vendors. AND Britt was kind enough to store a few items that wouldn't fit in our car until I was able to scoop them, saving things I was so sure I'd have to toss. Absolutely amazing.
Kate and Britt were a dream come true to work with. Planning a wedding through COVID is something I never envisioned. After having to cancel my first wedding, I was devastated. It was difficult to start back up with wedding planning until I found Olive Street Events. From the initial zoom calls till the clean-up after the wedding, these ladies were phenomenal. All my visions, picture inspirations, Pinterest boards were turned into reality. They were so attentive to everything I had to say and were so timely with their responses. They kept me on track, so I never felt like I was behind or stressed. On the wedding day, they went above and beyond. Their energy and positivity were so contagious and allowed my wedding to go off without a hitch. This is more than a job for them but truly a passion. We booked them for the minimal amount possible yet they were still there every step of the way. Checking in on us multiple times a month in the months leading up to the wedding to make sure everything would run smoothly. They provided us with multiple forms and guidelines to help stay organized throughout the entire wedding planning process. They were great with communication and even if they did not know an answer for my many questions- they got a hold of the correct people to find out the answer! Not only were they professional but also very fun and personable as well! I would recommended Olive Street to anyone!
Horrible ! Every unprofessional, way overpriced, They give women owned businesses a bad name! Truly! Way to much to go into detail! Very disappointed and they did nothing to try and make situation right.
I wish I could leave more than 5 stars!!! Brittany and her team went above and beyond from day 1 of planning our wedding. On top of them all being extremely kind and friendly, they were super attentive and detail oriented and they kept me organized throughout the whole process. I never felt like I was behind on anything and they stayed in lockstep with me the whole time. They crossed things off my own to-do list without me even realizing they were doing it!
They made us feel as if there was no limit to what we could do to make our wedding day extraordinary and pretty much made all my wildest wedding dreams come true (including chips & salsa/guac baskets at each table setting and mini margarita escort card displays that they graciously worked on with the caterer behind the scenes all morning!). No ask or idea was too big for them and they offered their own advice on how to make each detail perfect.
The whole team was super professional on the day of and no one felt overwhelmed or confused on the timeline because they were so on top of everything. They kept me super calm throughout the morning and brought so much excitement to the day, definitely making me feel very special. There is no doubt that they knew exactly what they were doing from start to finish.

Where do I begin with expressing my gratitude for Olive Street Events. After speaking with numerous planners I felt a sense of relief when I found Katelynn and Brittany! I hired Katelynn and Brittany about 8 months prior to my wedding and they helped me throughout the planning process, even if it was to just to talk through ideas and vision! Katelynn was extremely attentive to detail and was very responsive whenever I called or emailed. She organized my vendor team, created our timeline, ceremony and reception layout and vision, setup/breakdown and so much more that helped to make our vision come true on our special day.
The biggest thing I owe to Olive Street is the surprise they pulled off. Without me knowing, my dad reached out to Katelynn and coordinated a surprise musical performance during my reception. Katelynn helped my dad and cousin pull off the big surprise, created a completely separate timeline for all of the vendors and I had no idea. The execution was seamless and I owe it to her and Brittany for making this special moment happen!
For the day of my wedding at Rosewood Farms, Katelynn and Brittany were there every step of the way, making sure me and my soon to be husband, bridal party, groomsmen, parents and in-laws had everything they needed. They were in constant communication with us the entire day to ensure that everything was going smoothly and we were happy.
I cannot say enough positive things about hiring Katelynn and Brittany! Originally, my fiancé (now husband) and I did not see the need to hire a wedding planner, however, it was probably the greatest decision we made throughout the wedding planning process. The best thing about hiring Olive Street was that they took a lot of stress off of us and allowed us to enjoy our wedding day as much as we possibly could! Olive Street Events went above and beyond on our special day and we are beyond grateful!

They were there every step of the way and always had helpful insight or advice to offer. They're super knowledgeable, easy to approach with questions, very organized and so friendly/kind! THANK GOODNESS FOR KATELYNN AND BRITTANY!! Seriously. Our wedding got postponed several times due to the pandemic, and Kate and Britt were there for us every step of the way. Planning a wedding involves so many moving parts, and having them organize the information and send us important reminders was a major help. They were the point of contact for all of our vendors which was a huge stress reliever! Even when our makeup artist double booked us, Olive Street came to the rescue. I wish we could give them more than five stars!! Our magical day would not have been possible without them!
When our first wedding planner had to unexpectedly back out a month before our wedding, Britt and Kate stepped right in and seamlessly helped us plan everything we had left. The day of our wedding they were the perfect balance of being accessible while making sure everything ran smoothly in the background. When somebody's dress ripped, Kate pulled out 5 different sized safety pins. They were great to work with at every step of the process!

Brittany & Katelynn were absolute wedding savers! Our originally coordinator quit only 40 days before our big day. We then entrusted both of them to help make our day perfect. They not only meet our expectations but went above and beyond to make it perfect. They never hesitated to clarify something or work out a problem for us. How could we even begin to say how amazing Kate and Brit at Olive Street Events are. My husband and I got engaged in September of 2018 and not long after started working with Kate and Brit. After our first meeting we was so impressed, not only by their organization but by their energy and excitement. From day 1 they guided us through what could have easily been a stressful and complicated process. After almost a year of planning Olive Street Events helped us to put together an elaborate black tie wedding for 300 guests, scheduled for March 20, 2020. They made the process so easy for us, it was our dream come true. And then, on March 16th, four short days before our big day, the city of Philadelphia shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Our wedding would have to be cancelled. Devastated and at a total loss, Kate and Brit reached out to us to offer their support and guidance. By the end of the day they had our entire event rescheduled for November 13. Needless to say, we were floored. The overwhelming sense of comfort knowing we had this amazing team of women not only there to offer us emotional support, but to take care of everything with an almost superhuman celerity was beyond anything we could have hoped for or dreamed of. As the summer months rolled on, they stayed in regular contact with us, sometimes witn updates sometimes just to say hello. As fall approached and it became clear that November 13 was not going to be able to happen, Kate and Brit assured us they would make our wedding happen and that it would be the evening we dreamed of - and they delivered. After having to switch to yet another wedding date , having to switch venues, then having to switch venues again, countless meetings, phone calls, and emails later the team at Olive Street put together what we can easily say was the best day of our lives. The day of, they made sure we had absolutely everything we needed. Water? Got it. Bandaids? You bet. Starbucks order delivered while you’re getting ready? No problem! They literally thought of everything. Their attention to detail when dealing with vendors was bar none. They triple checked to make sure we got everything we asked for - right down to the chicken fingers my husband wanted along with his filet and lobster. I know for a fact that if it wasn’t for consummate professionalism, the help and the guidance from Kate and Brit we would never have had the absolute fairytale day that we did. We could thank them everyday for a lifetime and it still wouldn’t be enough.

My name is Britt, lover of controlled chaos and lists (the handwritten kind), half of the Olive Street Events dream team. Kate and I have been tackling events together for close to five years but on our own have been in the industry for much longer. I have spent the last decade working as both an event planner and a venue manager. I was drawn to hospitality and more specifically event planning & management because, well, who doesn’t love a good party? Over the years though, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for my job because the celebrations we’re a part of are so much more than parties; they are lifelong memories, and we play such a pivotal role in making that possible.
In my downtime, I can be found enjoying wine on my roof deck, spending time with my family, especially my niece and nephews (self-proclaimed cool aunt here), scrolling through interior design & cooking blogs, and rotting my brain with reality TV, my true guilty pleasure.
