Cali made the night! He's such an accomplished musician and him paying his guitar and singing during cocktail hour was the perfect way to get our guests comfortable, settled in, and ready to party. Talking about the party, Cali crushed it as our DJ! We even had a karaoke request from a friend who plays harmonica and Cali made that happen too, which gave our party an extra kick no one expected! I highly recommend Cail for your wedding or any occasion you want to make unforgettable!

Olive Tree Entertainment was the perfect addition to our wedding team! Being that this was a destination wedding, we needed to search to find someone that matched the vibe we wanted for our party and could work with other vendors in our wedding party. Cali was the perfect solution for us! He and our wedding planner managed to partner together to create a our ambiance! Many guests said it felt more like an evening out with loved ones than a wedding! Part of Olive Tree Entertainment's process is to provide a questionnaire in advance of the cermony. That online page gave us some ideas that we haven't event considered to include in our wedding! It was so helpful. In the same way, Cali was very open to including our ideas into the evening's program. We were able to great a song list through an music streaming platform and provide it to him as a jumping off point to ensure that we had the right music throughout the evening. Our wedding party had family and friends from 17 - 87, and through Cali's talent and encouragement, at one point, we had all age groups on the dance floor (let's be honest, you can't get everyone on the dance floor, but he helped us entice some of those that were less willing!) One of the things we enjoyed the most was his live music! We received a number of compliments about his talent. His singing was the perfect backdrop to our cocktail hour. He charges just a little more for the live music, but you will not regret your choice. I was able to find some examples of his music on streaming platforms and videos on YouTube. He willingly included songs from one of our family members who is a published singer / songerwriter and even suggested if she was able to attend, which sadly she wasn't, he would have given her the mic. Her music and his are so complementary... I would have loved to hear them in a duo! His lighting and light sticks were a great addition since our ceremony started late afternoon and finished after sunset. I saw old and young having fun with the lights and then they became part of the tunnel when we left the cermony. We did have one child, a 3-year old at the party. I don't think any of us knew how much she loved to dance. She danced and spun all night long! Her parents were part of the clean-up crew and since the caterers were blocking the exit, Cali stayed a little longer to play music to keep her busy while Mom and Dad helped with wrapping things up at the venue. That generous gesture speaks to Cali's spirit. He didn't have to stay a little longer, but by doing so, he gave her a little more fun and her parents a huge helping hand. I talked to a lot of highly recommended DJ's and DJ services before choosing Cali. What made him a great choice was: 1) I knew that he would be our guy for the event when we contracted (where services will give you one of the team members and tell you that less than a month before the wedding), 2) he had online tools to help prepare 3) he worked in partnership with us and the wedding planner to walk through the ceremony plan in detail 4) he is a good listener and a creative, but ultimately deferred to us for our preferences and 5) he is a NM native with roots in the community and represents the love of the culture and the spirit of the area. If those things and more are important to you, he is a great choice for your event!
