Everyone loved the north wing! We rented this for our family for my wedding. It has three bedrooms and a loft. The first bedroom is the master and has a wonderful soft queen sized(I believe) bed with electric fire place. The second room also has a queen(I believe) sized bed with an electric fireplace. The third bedroom had two full(I believe) size beds with an electric fireplace(wasn’t working when we arrived). The loft upstairs has a divider the side on the left has a day bed with trundle bed. The other side has two twin beds. Every room has a heater/ac unit. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots/pans and has a fridge, oven and stove. Trust me..Photos from their website does not do justice! We checked in and immediately fell in love with the place. The staff was always very friendly. Every night they came out and helped start the bon fire. The view from the North wing I personally feel is the best! If you are looking to get married if you can cut it the best would be the Main Lodge. Their common room has an amazing view and tons of space if you needed to do an indoor wedding. They have canoes, paddleboats, paddleboards, and I believe sailboats. Next time I’m in Meredith I will be sure to stay here again!
I've been going to this lodge for years for vacation and when we got engaged it was a no-brainer that I wanted to get married here. We absolutely love the view and the atmosphere. The manager Ray is very laid back, which is awesome in picking vendors. You can choose whoever you want for anything! The only stipulation is that there are no tents allowed since it is a lake-side property town ordinance and it must be quiet by 10pm (somewhat strict town ordinance).
We had our ceremony next to the lake under a wood arbor my dad erected and tree stump with benches seating. Our first dances were on top of the boat house, and all of our food was placed in the large dining room in the main lodge. Our guests had hours of fun on the lake using the included kayaks, paddelboards, paddleboats, canoes, etc. We rented the place for the entire weekend and it was awesome. We had 100 guests travel from Delaware and everyone raved about how awesome of a wedding/place it was. They liked it SO much that many of our guests booked with Oliver Lodge for vacation for the summer of 2017 and it's only been a week after our wedding! That's got to say something!
We LOVE this place and I would tell anyone to get married here. It's breath-taking.
My wedding was outside on a grassy area right on the lake and my reception was in the lodge and on the back deck of the lodge overlooking the lake. My guests were able to relax, enjoy the lake (boats, life jackets, and private beach are all included) and my entire family stayed at the private houses at the Oliver Lodge. We had the whole resort to ourselves and couldn't have asked for a better venue!
