Olivia and Mel are an amazing pair, offering not only professional service but their friendly personality that gives you the much needed peace of mind before the wedding day, comfort during the wedding and happy memories after the wedding. My husband and I found Olivia online just 6 months to our wedding. We read some of the amazing reviews and decided to get in touch. Few minutes into our phone conversation with Olivia, we were convinced that we have found our wedding photographer :) Olivia was very careful to understand what myself and my husband liked and as it was a Nigerian wedding. she was very inquisitive about what the highlights of the day would be. She did all these while respecting our privacy. On the day of the wedding, both Olivia and Mel arrived very early to take the more intimate and personal photos of myself, my husband, close family and friends. They were very careful to ensure that my husband did not see me until the time for the surprise shoot. They were really nice to our families and guests and everyone loved them, making it easy in my opinion for them to take exciting photos with wonderful memories. After the wedding, they worked really hard to ensure that our photos were ready on the website in just under a month and we received a USB as well. The photos were beautiful and we still can't stop looking at them. They captured every detail with a few amazing surprise photos of random events. The photos were so beautiful and elegant that our wedding was nominated and featured in the 2020 edition of the Virginia Magazine, covering two full spread of the magazine ( Please feel free to get a copy and see the amazing work of Olivia and Mel). I have already recommended Olivia to everyone I know :), and my husband and I are already talking about booking them for a photo shot for our anniversary. Both Olivia and Mel were wonderful to work with on my wedding day! We met in person to discuss photography style, date, ideas, and other broad details. They are so easy to talk to and are very open to different ideas for pictures. On our wedding day, they arrived early to take the detail pictures that didn't involve people. They were very careful to work with us on making sure my husband didn't see me or my dress until our first look. Having both of them there made it possible to get photos of me and my husband getting ready at the same time, and they were able to do candid photos and posed photos simultaneously, which made for some great photos. We drove around at sunset to find a good spot for sunset pictures, which was important to me. They did a great job at staying as inconspicuous as possible during the ceremony and still managed to get pictures of everyone! They work hard to get your photos ready as quickly as they can and you get a website with your photos, so you can see them as they are edited and uploaded. The USB with all our photos we received, which took about 1 month to get, was beautiful (random, but it really added to the professional image). I'm trying to find more opportunities to work with them again we enjoyed them so much! Really don't think I can find a negative thing to say about them. They were even open about staying past the allotted time and how much it would cost and did excellent at keeping to the time frame. LOVE THEM!!!

Olivia and Mel were the photographers for our wedding back in July! Prior to the wedding, Olivia was so easy to talk to and help me think through what we wanted from our wedding pictures. She was so flexible with any last-minute changes I made, and she made me feel so comfortable. Having your photos taken can be awkward if it's not something you're used to doing, but they made it feel so effortless. She and Mel were such a calming presence on our wedding day for both my husband and I. When we got the photos back (in a very timely manner) I was absolutely in awe of her work. Olivia and Mel managed to capture every single detail of our day, even the parts I didn't notice at the moment. I look back at the photos all the time and they are still so precious to me! Thanks, guys!

Not only do I love Olivia and her husband but my entire family raved about how kind, talented, and comfortable they felt in their hands. My husband (who's not a huge photo guy) wants to do ANOTHER photo shoot with them! They did our wedding and I didn't think they would get much from my husband and his friends while he was getting ready but I was wrong! Her husband made them feel so comfortable he not only got a lot of shots he also got some pretty funny ones too! 20/10 The photos turned out amazing. They captured some very special moments and did not miss a thing. I cannot wait to work with them again. My mother actually found them for our wedding day and I had already hired someone else to do our elopement shoot and between the two my husband and I would both hire Olivia again. She was punctual, kind, and the photos turned out beyond my dreams. I was a very laid back bride and she was great to go with my flow but gave great professional advice about the timing and placement of the photo setting.

Olivia is one of the BEST photographers I have ever worked with. Her pictures are amazing and the coloring and detail she puts in them is just hands down one of the best I have seen.

I wish I could give Olivia and her husband 1,000 stars. They captured every moment of our wedding in the most unique and beautiful way. Olivia is the sweetest person on the planet, very responsive, arrived on time, and totally flexible with the kinds of photos we wanted. Our outdoor wedding got rained out, and everything had to be moved indoors and I was so worried about how our pictures would turn out. Olivia is absolutely amazing! We booked her as our wedding photographer for our June 2018 wedding and we could not be more excited!! Not only did she work with our hectic schedule when the weather was 100% torrential down pour on the original date of our engagement session, she helped me come up with all kinds of neat ideas and was so supportive of anything I mentioned. Olivia listened really closely to what we wanted and she had suggestions to make what we wanted happen. Her abilities and what she knows are amazing and I’m so glad we chose her. Olivia and her husband Mel were the absolute best photographers we could have asked for!! Our photos are off the charts gorgeous, they are so talented! They did a great job capturing the "big" moments as well as smaller details, and some of our favorites are of guests dancing and having a great time (things we may not have seen in person because we were busy doing other things, so it's nice that we get to see those moments now through the photos!). Where do I start?! Olivia and Mel are such incredible photographers as well as beautiful people. They are not only super professional but very easy to contact and are always extremely polite. My husband and I hired Olivia for our engagement photos this spring at Carvins Cove. This girl is TALENTED!! She created the most gorgeous effects with the sunset over the water. We hired her again, along with Mel, to do our wedding in July. I seriously cried over these pictures!! I know that Olivia Diane Photography has not been in the business as long as some of these other photographers, but trust me- the pictures speak for themselves! Everyone I’ve shone has asked for the name and a few have even gone and hired her after the recommendation. Olivia and Mel will meet, and exceed, all of your expections for your perfect event! :)

We didn't want a typical multiple hour engagement session with several outfit changes. Olivia was quick to offer a 30 minute session to suit our needs. We had only lived in Roanoke for just over a year, so Olivia was sure to suggest the perfect location for our photo shoot. The Hotel Roanoke and grounds were stunning! Olivia was awesome at helping us ease our nerves and setting us up in poses that looked natural. She is truly blessed with an amazing talent! I recently had the opportunity to do a Boho styled shoot with Olivia and I cannot say enough good things about her and just how talented she is! She was amazing to work with and she captured the moment SO PERFECTLY! We hiked up a mountain for the shoot and it ended up raining when we got up to the top and even in the rain she was willing and able to capture the MOST EPIC pictures you have ever seen! The pictures were absolutely breathtaking! It reminded me of the Titanic movie! I would definitely recommend her to anyone for your wedding day, engagement shoot or any other occasion! I have already set something up with her to do an anniversary shoot with my husband and I cannot wait!

Olivia is a fantastic photographer, she is willing to listen for your ideas but is not indecisive. We will definitely use Olivia again when we need photos of any kind. She has a special way of capturing the mood of the photo and making it even better.
