me to decide what I wanted to look like on my wedding day, I was stuck. I knew I wanted lighter/brighter/more natural but didn't want it to seem like I rolled out of bed, did my usual routine, and walked down the aisle. I reached out to Olivia Hawthorne Beauty after looking through her portfolio. While all the brides seemed different, what I loved about the varying looks was that each one brought out the incredible NATURAL features of the brides. After some initial questions, I booked Olivia and her team without even looking at other artists. And I recommend it 100% to any other brides out there in the same boat I was. Olivia was extremely organized and friendly. I was worried about looking silly walking in to a hair and make up trial with absolutely zero clue for what I wanted but they took my inspiration and pinterest ideas and brought them to life. My Mimi came to my trial with me and she felt included and welcomed as well. Kyla, the hair stylist, was warm and friendly and understood my "beachy waves/curls" idea to a tee. When the trial hair do was a bit to "princess" for my liking, Olivia and Kyla took notes and the style for the day of the wedding was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Kyle also did the hair for my mom and 4 bridesmaids. My mom did a stunning up do and it looked effortless - not crusty and "worked" like you see on some of those Four Wedding shows. As for the bridesmaids, we had all different hair types and lengths and each one came out looking 1) gorgeous but 2) individuals. I never wanted my bridesmaids to be "copy and pastes" and Kyla completely understood that. As for the make up, I can't say enough good things about Olivia. She worked with my extremely sensitive skin (cholinergic urticaria) and latex allergy and made me feel like a movie star on my wedding day. She arrived promptly in the morning and did an absolute incredible job with all of my bridesmaids. We never felt rushed and each member of my bridal party felt like a million bucks. Even my mom, whose about as learned in the make up ways as I am, couldn't believe what Olivia was able to make happen. All of our hair and make up stayed perfect throughout the wedding day and not once did I feel like the hair was falling out or make up falling off. And this is coming from someone who did multple shot skis and danced 2+ hours (including the full blown "Shout" from Animal House" at her wedding.
