I give a whole-hearted, two-thumbs up recommendation for Olivia. Not only is she super friendly while also being extremely professional, the pictures we got from our wedding day are unbelievable (I posted the link to our "photo preview" on Facebook, and people that I haven't spoken to in years came out of the woodwork to comment on what stunning pictures they were). Hire Olivia, and trust in her expertise. For formal (posed) pictures, she has the eye for what will make a great photo, and she can direct you and position you to make that happen. For candid shots, she was taking a million photos all evening, at every turn and every reception event -- which yielded many of my very favorite pictures from the whole night. 100% recommend!!

I was very impressed by the artistic talent of Ms. Jacob. She was also very easy to work with. We have a lot of family members and she made sure she captured everyone so important to us that day. We were very happy with the pictures and we highly recommend her to others. We also made an error in the year when we submitted this; it should be 2014 instead of 2015.

Olivia was a joy to work with. She was professional, thoughtful, and kind, and she made sure we got the shots we needed (working with family portraits in particular can be a pain) without being pushy at all. She did a great job of documenting the big and little moments of are day. Her shots are beautiful, her prices are extremely fair, and her turnaround time was excellent. I'm so glad that we decided to work with Olivia--I would recommend her very highly to my family and friends and to anyone else!

My (now) husband and I so enjoyed working with Olivia. She has been responsive and helpful throughout the process. We felt very comfortable with her suggestions, she was more than willing to try everything we wanted, and also provided us fantastic ideas and recommendations. Olivia made it a really fun process for us, and the pictures were terrific! We would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer in the DC area.

From the moment we met Olivia, we were instantly impressed with her genuine love for her work and the connections she makes with her clients. We fell in love with her spirit and her amazing photos. She is hands down the most affordable, best deal money can buy in the DC area. We chose a package that included an engagement photo shoot and her service all day at the wedding. She has an uncanny way of capturing details, relationships, and fun. We literally laughed and cried out loud from the emotion that we got from both our engagement pictures and our wedding photos. Her photo journalistic style really told the story of our entire wedding. It was truly amazing. Olivia even surprised us by bringing a second photographer with her for the entire day, free of charge. Literally, they were with us from 9am to 11pm! The span of photos they took was truly impressive, and the quality was breathtaking. You will not be disappointed by Olivia's character, work ethic, and tremendous skill. I recommend her to everyone! We hope that we can use her again when we need to capture another memory.

I wish I could give Olivia at least six stars! AT LEAST! Firstly, she was extremely organised, which we are not. She came to our rehearsal in order to get a feel for the venue (at no extra charge I might add!) and was so pleasant and lovely it was just like visiting with a friend. Who carries around a camera. She was very punctual on our big day. We were not. She took pictures and kept out of the way while I flailed around last minute and was right there when I was ready. She never made any of it feel like a photo shoot. Less than a week after the wedding, she sent us a beautiful slideshow of the first ready shots. They are so lovely and she made us all look so good, I can't even believe it! My sister's wedding was two weeks after mine and she had a different photographer and I can't describe how different he was. During the ceremony, I never even noticed Olivia, which is great! I wanted all my attention on my beautiful bride, and I wanted my guests' attention on us. This photographer was snap snapping away during every quiet moment, and ruined my view of my own sister coming down the aisle! A final word about pricing, as wedding photography can be incredibly, absurdly pricey. Her prices are so very reasonable, and that's basically an impossible thing to find in a wedding photographer. Either the pictures are at best so-so but affordable, or they're amazing but who can afford them? Not us, that's for sure! Olivia was the best of both worlds, as I wanted fantastic pictures and my now-wife wanted to be able to eat things that weren't ramen. She delivered on both counts and we're incredibly pleased and grateful. I cannot recommend enough.

Absolutely wonderful! Ms. Jabcobs captured our true selves and the love we have for each other. She was so polite and professional and had unique ideas of placement and subject matter and color to make our engagement pictures a real masterpiece. I wouldn't have anyone else do our wedding pictures!
