Olivia is phenomenal - her work speaks for itself. She was such a great addition to our wedding day extremely helpful in creating the timeline of how the day would play out. Olivia has a great eye and is able to turn anything into a photo-worthy moment. I HIGHLY recommend Olivia for whatever event you're looking to capture. I've never been someone who is at ease in front of the camera but she made me feel comfortable and confident while working with her, which I really think shows in the photos. Also - for the brides and grooms out there, Olivia will wrangle your family into whatever photos you want with a smile on her face the entire time. During family portraits I was getting a little antsy with difficult aunts and uncles, but Olivia herded everyone together quickly and efficiently so people could enjoy cocktail hour. I am so grateful she was able to capture our wedding so beautifully.

I had the pleasure of working with Olivia for engagement photos (fall of 2021) and my wedding (July 2022). My dog was present for both and she was great with him. My husband and I both had no idea how to pose and she guided us well. Olivia did a walk through with us at our wedding location since she had not worked there before. She gave us some great ideas for unique things to do at our wedding too! Day of the wedding Olivia was great. Timely, organized, kept our schedule, and had great calming energy. We used her for a classy photobooth she brought and I loved the pictures we got. Her second shooter Colleen was great. I am really happy and we absolutely love the photos.

Olivia's photography was phenomenal. Her photos are timeless and the framing is breathtaking. I am in awe of Olivia's attention to detail and all elements of a photo. The way Olivia framed/posed photos is just such a work of art. She did an amazing job working with our rather large wedding party (18 total attendants). I love the way she staggered/layered the bridal party in our group pictures so that everyone's face is easy to see and it isn't too wide of an angle. Olivia did the same with our family portraits. I have so many favorite photos that are just artistic gold. I feel like so many of the pictures could be a magazine cover - but they're my wedding photos! We've had several of our friends/family mention that they can definitely tell we had a quality photographer. There were some bumps in the road regarding scheduling with our engagement photos, but in the end we were still able to get amazing fall photos to use for our save the dates. Olivia was so professional and a pleasure to work with. I really believe she helped to make sure our day went smoothly and really went above and beyond. She even set aside time to tour our venue a few days before our wedding. We were able to scope out some different spots for photos and spend some time getting to know each other.

Olivia did an amazing job capturing our wedding! We had over 600 beautiful photos that perfectly captured our day. We could not be happier with them!

My husband and I absolutely adore our engagement and wedding photos. Olivia is extremely thoughtful and cares about the individuality of each couple. She is awesome at instructing how to pose to create a natural photo. She has a timeless editing style and I have gotten so many compliments on my photos.

Olivia was a dream to work with and I can't say enough good things about her! We hired her in 2020 for our wedding photos but quickly added on engagement photos as well. She's quick at communication and helped with every detail including wedding colors and timeline. She even went to our location the day before our wedding to scope out the best photo locations. And she is dog friendly!

My husband and I fell in love with Olivia’s pictures while searching online for a photographer. Not only are her photos AMAZING, but she was the perfect photographer and made our wedding day run smoothly. She planned the timeline and kept us on it throughout the day to ensure we got all the shots we wanted. She provided the perfect amount of direction and posing while also capturing all the little candid moments (even caught the surprise jello Easter egg shots at the end of our reception!). Our photos turned out better than we could’ve ever imagined and we are SO in love with them! If you are looking for elegant, timeless photos (along with all the special moments) and an easy to work with photographer, then Olivia is your girl!

Olivia was wonderful! We were very happy with our wedding and engagement photos. She is understanding, kind, and professional. She made everything less stressful and captured our special day perfectly. Taylor (the second photographer) was great, too. She was very sweet and made everyone feel comfortable. Highly recommend!

I would give Olivia 10 stars if I could. She is absolutely incredible. We loved every minute of working with her. She is so professional, punctual, and creative. She has a great way of keeping the group on track and being assertive without being too aggressive. She went above and beyond to take beautiful photos of us for our engagement, shower and wedding. Olivia was amazing! She is professional and kind, and her photography is absolutely beautiful and timeless. We hired her in summer 2020 for engagement and wedding photos, and it was one of the best vendor decisions we made. When we shot our engagement photos in October 2020, she made my husband and I feel so comfortable in front of the camera. On our wedding day in October 2021, she was a calming presence and provided great direction. Her second photographer, Nadia, was also great! They both captured our special day perfectly and the photos are something we will cherish forever. I’ve had several people reach out to be after posting photos on social media asking for her information. I would recommend Olivia to anyone who wants classic and stunning wedding photography.

We hired Olivia to shoot our wedding (9/25/21). I can not say how disappointed I am with the experience. Olivia only took one photo of our CEREMONY and provided many blurry/grainy photos. I will add the ceremony photo to this review so you can see the quality and effort we received. Olivia delivered our photos late, and gave us no communication, I actually had to reach out to her after the delivery date to see where they were and she didn’t get back to me until a week later. Olivia has given us so many ridiculous excuses as well as changed her story/reasoning for things multiple times. Olivia has continued to provide awful communication, ignoring our emails for weeks at a time, on several different occasions. After months of trying to come to a resolution, Olivia has only offered us a $150 refund out of the $2,500 we paid her. All while claiming she did her job to the best of her ability. We will never have photos of the most important part of our wedding to share with friends and family. I am surprised at how many good reviews she has, the service we received has been so poor it seems almost impossible to believe other reviews. I have went back and forth on leaving this review, but if I am able to save just one couple from having to deal with this catastrophe it will be worth it. To add to it all, if we want to fight to get our money back we are going to have to take her to small claims court. Olivia is an INCREDIBLE photographer and so easy to work with. We are completely BLOWN AWAY by our gallery. I have gotten so many compliments on our photos. I am someone who is overly critical and was so worried about not liking photos of myself, but I am beyond happy with ALL of the photos Olivia captured. She captured every detail and all the special moments, from my our first look, to our parents reactions during speeches, and so much more. Our day was documented perfectly. Throughout the entire process Olivia was so organized and easy to work with. She helped set my timeline and on our wedding day I never felt rushed. We had an overall incredible experience with Olivia and I would HIGHLY recommend having her photograph your events!

As we all know photography is one of the biggest aspects of a wedding, and Olivia and her second photographer Chyane absolutely knocked it out of the park for my wedding day. Olivia was so easy to get in touch with and was always super responsive! On the day of the actual wedding, she and Chyane were absolutely amazing. We had a large bridal party (18 total) and they did an amazing job of getting everyone together and getting every single picture that we requested. To top it off, by the end my bridal party and I agreed that it truly felt like we had known Olivia and Chyane forever. They were so friendly and sweet!! I can’t wait to see the final pictures, Olivia showed me a few completed photos the day after and they were PHENOMENAL! Another great thing about Olivia is all the detail photos she takes, so not only do you have photos of your bridal party and guests but also every aspect of the wedding. I took a lot of time to plan everything perfectly and to be able to have photos to look back on everything is absolutely amazing. I truly cannot recommend Olivia Wenzel Photography enough. Thank you so much Olivia and Chyane for making my wedding day so incredibly special!!

Olivia was wonderful! Especially as a 2020 (#Covidbride). We needed to move our wedding date and our wedding State due to travel/health concerns. Olivia worked with us so much to make it happen and we will always be so appreciative!

Olivia is the perfect mix of beautiful, calming energy and deadly expertise. For our engagement shoot, she guided us in a way that didn't make us feel awkward or silly, and was great about showing us photos throughout the day so we could get a sense of how we were posing and get excited when we nailed a great shot. We bopped all over NYC for our shoot and she was so wonderful and down for all of it. Ahead of our shoot, we spoke extensively and held a call the morning of to go over last minute details and discuss wardrobe. She was so present throughout the entire experience and I would work with her again in a HEARTBEAT. Plus, I kind of just kind of want to be her BFF.

Olivia was amazing to work with and very flexible for our pandemic wedding. We ended up getting married on our original date, and have our reception postponed, but Olivia was on top of all of it! I especially loved how Olivia took the time to scope out the best spots and made us feel very comfortable during our event. She gave subtle suggestions for how to pose and took the most natural looking romantic photos. Her photos are very organic which is the main reason I chose her as our photographer. Because of the pandemic, she had a lot of events scheduled, so our pictures took a little longer than normal, but once we received our pictures, we were thrilled and our album turned out amazing! I would recommend Olivia to any bride I meet.

Olivia is amazing! I asked her to photograph my bridal shower. The photos turned out beautiful! She captured every detail perfectly, including tons of fun candid photos with my friends and family. I just received my entire gallery from our wedding day and there are no words to describe how BEAUTIFUL our photos are!!! I am beyond happy that we chose Olivia as our photographer. Olivia is a wonderful photographer and clearly knows what she is doing. She offers great direction and ideas on poses, and is able to make what is sometimes awkward (taking professional pictures) very comfortable. The pictures are aesthetically beautiful and very natural. We couldn't be happier with them!

Olivia was amazing, we loved everything about her. I would highly recommend her for your wedding! She was easy to plan and coordinate with even though we were based in California and planning a Michigan wedding. She made us feel comfortable and worked hard to capture our personalities and styles. Maybe I was just so elated from the energy of the day, but our gallery had so any photos I did not even know were being taken! Also, we really needed someone who could capture a variety of skin tones in a single photo and not have some people look washed out etc. since we are an interracial couple and wanted all our guests and family looking their best. Olivia was so great to work with, she was flexible with our needs and worked with our out of the ordinary wedding plans. We could not have been happier with how the photos turned out, both the style and the editing. Cody and I are SO happy with our photography experience with Olivia (and her second photographer Melonie). She was very professional to work with throughout the year planning and even better on the day of. Her photos are vibrant and gorgeous and perfectly capture our favorite day! She was so great during the long day and had the ability to pose 2 very goofy people to make us feel like models. Her photos did take quite a bit of time to get to us but it was totally worth the wait for such quality products. We loved her!

We worked with Olivia for our June 1, 2019 wedding in Lexington, Michigan. We had a lakefront wedding in a log cabin and held an intimate wedding with less than 100 guests. Olivia and I worked together for several months leading up to the wedding, and she was thorough, friendly, creative, and helpful every step of the way. We met in-person to talk about wedding details and plans and she even pointed out ideas for wedding planning that would make the whole event run smoother and photos look better. On the day of our wedding, she was a huge asset and a joy to have around. We are uncomfortable in front of the camera but Olivia was easy going and directed us to look our best. She took amazing detail photos, portraits, friends and family photos, and captured our ceremony and reception beautifully. She truly has your best interest at heart and cares about capturing photos that mean something to you. I enthusiastically recommend Olivia!

Olivia does AMAZING work! My husband, family, and I were over the moon happy with her photos of our wedding! She was completely professional on our big day and captured every single moment! She had a small issue of meeting deadlines with receiving our photos, but her pictures are breath taking and so worth the wait! We had a wonderful experience working with Olivia and Tim! Olivia was so professional and helpful from the first time we contacted her and helped us feel at ease throughout the entire process. Olivia was an absolute delight to work with! She was so accommodating! Our wedding was not traditional; Olivia went out of her way to learn what was most important to us and why, so that she could capture the shots that would mean the most.
