She is so easy to work with and such a calm presence on a day which can be a bit stressful. We were able to have so many locations and styles of photographs done in such a short time - she knows her way around New Orleans! I cannot say enough amazing things about Olivia! Olivia captured the most beautiful engagement photos, rehearsal dinner photos, and wedding photos. She uses digital, film, and polariod cameras (which already sets her apart from all other photographers), and has a way of capturing true emotion in her work. I LOVED working with her! She does an amazing job of balancing the more posed photos (that your mom wants) with more artistic/candid photos. Our photos look like they belong in a magazine. Additionally, she delivers her photos so quickly! Within 48 hours, she had already delivered more than 70 absolutely beautiful previews. Olivia truly understood our vision and brought it to life through photos!

Not only are we happy with our wedding photos, but Olivia was great to interact with all day long. Working with Olivia was an amazing experience. She made us feel seen and heard as a couple and really paid attention to the things that made us uniquely us. We by no means had a big budget wedding but I feel like it was captured so well it could be in a wedding magazine. Olivia has now taken our photos on three different occasions including our wedding day. Our porch session was the light in the dark during Covid lockdown. Our engagement photos are perfect and our wedding photos are everything I could have hoped for. She makes it fun and stays calm in the chaos. She captures the moments you had to have and all the ones you never knew you wanted.

Olivia is perhaps the most thoughtful and generous artist I’ve met with a keen eye for detail that accurately captures the essence of a person or relationship. Working with her felt natural and easy, like being welcomed home by an old friend. As a same sex couple, we had difficulty finding someone who was talented and artistic with a unique style while also recognizing the limits and difficulties of navigating an otherwise “traditional” wedding planning landscape. I knew when I looked at her website and saw her deep passion for stories of ALL identities that she was someone we’d love working with. She was conscientious and asked a lot of questions during the planning process, and did it all with so much grace (even when discussing topics like family members that might be challenging to handle). She touched base with us often and always kindly reminded us of things to remember along the way. On the day of, she was so skilled at ensuring she captured the most important moments while easily blending into the crowd as if she herself were part of the guest list. Our friends and family loved her!! She even built in quiet intimate moments for my wife and I away from the chaos. For example, we had a moonlight dance, and after snapping a few photos, she helped usher everyone out of the room and it was just us, closing down the reception in the dark with a favorite song. It was pure bliss. She turned around with our photos, and WOW were they everything we had hoped for and more! We cherish them deeply. They tell our story, and somehow, capture all sides of our personality as well as that of our favorite family and friends. It’s no secret, we 1000/10 recommend her.

Not even sure where to begin! Choosing Olivia to photograph our wedding was one of the best and easiest decisions we made. Olivia was hands down our most organized vendor. She maintains her composure every step of the way, captures absolute magic, and makes it fun. So thankful to Olivia for everything she did for us on the best night of our lives.

I can hardly put into words how incredible Olivia is as a human being and a photographer. I followed Olivia on social media far before I was ever engaged. When we started selecting wedding vendors, Olivia as our photographer was the easiest decision we made. Her style is so beautifully real and natural. It mirrors the beauty in the moments she’s capturing. This is why I chose her. She traveled with us all the way to Hawaii where she took the most incredible photos I’ve ever seen in my life. We went back and forth for a long time on whether we should hire a videographer. Ultimately we decided not too in an effort to spend money elsewhere. I was still a bit sad about this decision up until we received our photos. After looking through so many beautiful photos that captured every intimate moment from the day we both agreed we never needed a videographer. The only problem we have is deciding which photos to have printed because we are in love with every single one. Olivia will capture one of the most important days of your life in the most comfortable, natural and beautiful way. She was beyond worth everything we spent for photos. I promise if you are looking for a photographer and you have come across Olivia’s name you will not find anyone who will be better.

Where do I even begin? Hiring Olivia was the best choice I could have ever made for our wedding!! Her photos are authentic, her communication clear, and professionalism top notch!! Where to even begin?! Olivia was wonderful at every step of the way: organized, thoughtful, passionate, and intentional. We stumbled upon Olivia's page on The Knot and immediately knew her photography style would fit us. Her style was warm, romatic, kind of moody, and intimate and you could feel that in her shots. As a queer female interracial couple, we wanted to make sure our photographer would truly see and appreciate us and frankly know how to photograph us. Olivia did just that - making sure she knew both of us individually and together beforehand. We did our engagement photos with Olivia in Big Sur, California and then she beautifully captured our wedding ceremony and reception in New Orleans. We filled out a few questionnaires ahead of both so that she knew what we were looking for and taking into account any special family dynamics or feelings we want to capture. While neither of us are the most comfortable on camera and you can still see that in certain poses/photos, we were still ultimately very happy with the vast majority of the photos we received. Olivia truly captured the love and joy we felt getting married, in both the intimate moments with just the two of us and in the bigger moments with family and friends on the dancefloor!

I can't say thank you enough to Olivia! When we came across her on the Knot, we knew we had to book her. We're so grateful that we did. We had a long engagement, and Olivia helped us along with so much beyond the photography. She is incredibly thoughtful and detailed. Her input in our wedding timeline, other vendors choices, and random questions was invaluable to us. The day of wedding, Olivia was a calming presence and a joy to work with. She is also great with dogs and captured our Breezy perfectly. There are not enough stars or words in the world to describe how amazing Olivia is! From day one, her personality and calmness when planning the photos of our wedding was incredible. Talking to her and being in her presence is seriously like a warm hug. She asks you and lays out exactly what details we wanted for our wedding. Book her ASAP! Olivia was a true joy to work with, from our engagement photos through our multi-event wedding weekend. She is a master of all situations, from the most intimate moment to the final dance party. We connected with her (and Alika!) immediately from the moment they arrived to start our engagement photo shoot - it really felt like just hanging out (and taking pictures!) with friends. Olivia is extremely detail oriented - she made sure to capture exactly what we were looking for in our photos, and even helped guide us when we weren't entirely sure. We were absolutely thrilled with all of our photos, and many of our guests reached out to us after we sent them out to tell us how amazing the photos were and how well Olivia and Brooke (second shooter) had captured the reception. *micro-wedding: out of state couple* With Olivia you get a beautiful experience, and photos that capture real emotion- photos you can feel!! From the very first (zoom) interview, Olivia was the best. She was super interested in getting to know us, so that she could best capture us in our moments. It was important to us that our photos weren't overly posed. And my partner isn't very comfortable in front of a camera, so we were also looking for someone who could help us feel comfortable. She was more than just our photographer. She was so helpful with NOLA advice, from what to wear for engagement shoot, vendor recs, to wear to get a great meal. Olivia checked in with us numerous times throughout the 9 months we were under contract. We slowly got to know each other really well, so that when the wedding day came, it was like we were just hanging with a friend-- who also happened to be a bad*ss photog. Olivia wasn't turned off by our idea to run around the city doing things we love for hours before having a candle-lit, after dark ceremony. Her knowledge and experience on top of her compassion and sensitivity to the importance of the "special day" make her a really amazing wedding photographer. Our wedding guests even commented on how awesome her and the second shooter were. We received our previews within 48 hrs of our wedding day! They were breathtaking. My mom's friend specifically wanted me to relay this message to Olivia, "I've never seen wedding photos like yours, I don't know how to describe it other than- I can actually feel what it was like to be there!" Olivia was and incredible photographer. She worked with us from across the country to help us plan for our New Orleans wedding all the way from Las Vegas! The questionnaires she sent throughout the planning process gave us the platform to communicate what was most important to us. On our wedding day she was very kind and considerate. She was understanding of the family drama we had going on, and she never made us feel like we weren't the most important people for the day. We hired Olivia for our engagement and wedding photos, and she exceeded our expectations! She has a way to make you feel very comfortable in front of the camera and capture authentic emotions behind her lens. Her photos are warm and inviting and allow you to feel the emotion shine through each image. We had to reschedule our wedding due to the pandemic, and Olivia was extremely helpful, both professionally and emotionally, throughout that entire process. She offers photo direction while still maintaining the excitment of taking photos with your bridesmaids, seeing your fiance during the first look, walking down the aisle, etc etc. Communication with her was always excellent! She responded very quickly and clearly. We primarily communicated via email, and then switched to texting once the big day approached. Also - we added on the Polaroid + Film package option and it was the best decision we ever made! We received the album in the mail just a few days ago and while her digital images were fantastic, I think some of my favorite wedding photos are from the film options. I cannot recommend Olivia enough - she is THE wedding photographer!

What can I say? Olivia is AMAZING! From the initial interview with her we knew we wanted her to be our photographer! She is so intentional with her work and truly cares about her clients! My husband and I were a little nervous about having our photos taken when we booked our engagement session with her. She immediately made us feel comfortable and truly captured who were are as a couple in our photos. Olivia gave us gorgeous photos of our wedding. She has a real eye for light and framing. My husband is not particularly comfortable being photographed, but she gave us some cues that helped us both relax. The formal portraits came out so well! She also captured some amazing candid shots and gave us lots of lovely photos of the florals and the food. The wedding guide she provided was very helpful, as was the pre-wedding communication about our particular needs and expectations. Olivia is absolutely wonderful to work with. We met her for the first time on a trip to New Orleans and had a super fun session done with her while enjoying some beignets - these are some of the CUTEST photos ever of us. Olivia also took our engagement pictures last summer, she picked out an adorable spot for our session at a sunflower farm and the photos turned out truly gorgeous. She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera which is harder than you might think! Olivia also took photos at our wedding ceremonies - one in Michigan and one in Hawaii. My fiance and I decided to get engagement photos done on a trip to NOLA. I saw the quality and style of her work and knew it had to be her. Olivia's vibe is incredible - it was like hanging out with an old friend. I am such an awko-taco, and she made me feel so comfortable. Then I saw the photos; they are so beautiful - I didn't know we could look like that. I will treasure our photos for the rest of my life. I knew I had to bring her up to WA for my wedding. Words can't describe the magic she brings. Let's start with the professionalism; Olivia kept communication open, direct, and clear from start to finish. Being a bride is SO stressful, but she makes the process easy; she is responsive. Yall - she LISTENS! All my weird family dynamics were put at ease because she knew how to navigate. SHE IS MAGIC. Our wedding was December 19, 2020, at the height of the COVID pandemic. Olivia and her husband were fantastic to work with and made the weekend so much easier. Incredibly talented, professional, kind, and flexible and adaptable to everything and everyone. She also keyed in immediately on what was important to us in terms of the photos. We’ve gotten countless compliments on the prints, and more than a few inquiries because the photos were very much magazine quality. We’ll definitely be back for other events in the future.

Photography was my number 1 priority for my wedding dreams. It was a DREAM that Olivia was available for our intimate wedding in April 2021! I panic searched for a photographer about 2 months before and found Olivia and was desperate to work with her! Her open and smily disposition was the first thing I noticed and her mission to tell your story in the unique and personal way it should be told was the hook line and sinker for me. She is so incredible to work with before the actual day too. She is so organized and helpful for such a stressful planning process that the wedding industry makes planning a wedding. It was definitely the easiest and most enjoyable part of planning for me! And on the actual day, she went with the flow and was such an easy and wonderful calm energy. Taking the couple shots after the wedding around the city of New Orleans was absolutely my favorite part of the day! It was so fun and relaxing with her and her husband. I LOVE the many many results and the little details she captured for us to remember every aspect of the day that would otherwise fade away as well as such wonderful candids that have so much heart and emotion that my husband and family will cherish forever. Goodness, where do I start? Olivia de.liv.ered, okay!? We'd been planning our wedding since really late 2019. But in the spillover of the horrendous 2020 into 2021, we were strapped with finding a new photographer one month before our wedding. Olivia's aesthetic spoke to me and tbh, with her weekly specials (our wedding was a Wednesday), I really just wasted my time stressing! I'm a New Orleans native, but since I live in Dallas we planned a mini-engagement shoot the Monday before to meet & get acquainted with her style & her with our personalities. That turned out BOMB! Her and her husband are so sweet and really knows how to get that IT picture.. I seriously didn't know how much creativity with bodies goes into photography, but she made it easy! Two days, later, for our micro wedding, she was everywhere and nowhere at the same time if that makes sense, haha. She captured some photos I didn't even know she had time to lol. Olivia was definitely a ninja in a past life. We had previews almost instantaneously (HOW?!), and our final galleries were delivered in what I'd regard as record time. It was definitely a nice surprise! I still swoon over how beautiful our photos are! I'm secretly trying to force an event just so we can work with her again! LOL Thank you Olivia, you are truly gifted!

Olivia was absolutely wonderful. Every session from engagements to bridals to the wedding, she was so great to work with. She was organized and helpful and made those days so easy for me. On 4.3.21, my wife and I arrived at City Park in New Orleans for elopement. We had browsed pics and thought we had found the perfect spot for our ceremony, but...the park was bustling with people and activities. Along comes our soft spoken photographer Olivia who suggested we start walking because she knows this perfect place in the park that would be perfect for us...it was just that, PERFECT! Olivia was attentive to detail and captured every emotion presented. She asked that we bask in those moments, live in them and she went to work with her camera. Previews were readily available almost immediately, and the full gallery was readily available weeks before the deadline. We are amazed at the quality and quantity of her work. Working with Olivia was one of the best parts of our entire wedding experience! The engagement session was so so so much fun! Olivia is a joy to be around, and made having our photos taken a fun experience for me and my husband! On our wedding day, Olivia was cool and collected, and the day wouldn’t have gone as smoothly as it did without her. She is amazing at keeping things moving on schedule without interrupting the moments. She got so many amazing photos of the small and the big moments. From engagement photos to wedding photos, my husband now and myself were total awkward goofballs at first and on the wedding day we were still goofy, but it was SO much more comfortable since we had photos taken by Olivia previously. When I first started to look at wedding photographers, I wanted my wedding photos to express the emotions we felt on our day, so when I look back at my wedding photos I could experience the day all over again. When first I looked at Olivia’s work, I could instantly feel the creativity and light (beauty) in her images. I felt like I could feel the emotions within the pictures she had taken. Olivia could not more of a joy to work with. From planning the wedding three times (COVID) to coming to take family portraits with my cancer-struck dad, Olivia was constantly focused capturing the pictures that mattered most to us - whatever the circumstances kept changing to be. Not only did she travel across the country to be at our wedding, she made sure we knew that she was there to support us during all of the uncertainty of canceling and re-planning our wedding during the pandemic. We are obsessed with our wedding photos! I am usually very uncomfortable having my picture taken, but Olivia made us feel very relaxed. Our photos look so natural and are exactly what we were hoping for. She was also very quick to get us several preview photos back. Olivia photographed my wedding in Toronto in August 2019, and I could not have been happier with our wedding photos!
