he moment we met her. She has a calming presence and really brought out our organic love! We decided to hire her for our wedding a few months after. Leading up to the wedding day, we met to discuss timelines, outline wants/needs, locations, etc. She also advised us to get a second shooter which was the best decision we could ever make!! My wife and I both had our own individual shoots while getting ready which was so much fun and so cute! The second shooter totally matched Heathers energy and we were all just perfect for each other. On the day of the wedding she was on time, gently directed everyone to where they needed to be, and she was extremely patient! We planned to have a first look and a bridesmaids shoot in two different locations. I was a little nervous about that but it was a walk away and I trusted her. On the way to the bridesmaid shoot area, Heather and her second shooter continued to photograph us. They took the most beautiful pictures I’ve ever seen! The bridesmaids shoot was right across from the Empire State Building on the Brooklyn side. The breath taking views with my beautiful bridesmaids was truly everything I wanted. Heather helped us pose and we had so much fun! We finished all of our pictures on time and we actually had to wait for some of our guest before starting the ceremony because we were there before them! Our ceremony was beautiful and I outlined all the pictures I wanted with our families. Heather made sure to capture each one even though the list was a bit lengthy. I also asked for a night time shoot and she made that dream come true as well! For the reception, they both captured beautiful, fun, and timeless family pictures all bursting with joy. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She is truly magical and will recommend her to anyone I come across!!

You will come across several vendors during the wedding planning process that have overpowering personalities.. Heather and her team are very well organized, responsive, sweet, helpful and communicated very well with us and with our coordinator at the venue. She helped us in creating the perfect timeline for our wedding day, made us feel completely comfortable through the process. Responded promptly to all our questions and concerns. She traveled from NY to Boston to photograph our engagement photo session, and wedding photos. Which we absolutely love!!! All things being equal, my husband and I are not the most photogenic people ;) The engagement photo session (which I encourage everyone to get one, if only as an opportunity to get to know your photographer before the big day) it allowed us an opportunity to see Heather as someone who completely goes with the flow with our collective vision. There is so much attention to detail you put into your wedding day and those memories are all now fleeting. made sure it never felt like she was just doing her job. The day we did our engagement shoot, it was absolutely freezing and we were right on the water. Heather never complained once about the weather, and she made the situation work to our advantage! I hate having my photo taken, and while I was uncomfortable at first, Heather was very patient and soon I felt completely normal. She was able to capture our personalities so well and get amazing shots while never making us feel like she intruded. We loved working with her so much, we wanted to book her for our wedding before we even saw the final shots from the engagement shoot! After seeing the final edits, we knew we had made the right choice. Heather flew out from New York, drove 3 hours from Seattle up the mountains to a campground to photograph a Star Wars theme-inspired wedding. She rolled with the nerdiness, was a trooper through rain and even helped me walk in giant trash bags through mud so I wouldn't get my white jumpsuit and boots dirty before the ceremony. Heather is above and beyond a talented photographer and an above and beyond kind of person with going (and flying) the extra miles for her clients. It truly felt like Heather was another guest having a good time, just holding a camera, which was our hope.
