Not only did they make us feel and look so beautiful, but they brought their sense of humor, positive attitudes, and support on a day we needed it the most! Katie and Stacey were the BEST team I could ever imagine for our wedding day! They were friendly, personable, and professional right from the very start. I came to my hair/makeup trial with a very specific vision for my hair, but no vision for my makeup other than "pretty" and "not a lot" - Katie was able to interpret this perfectly and created a wonderful makeup look. Stacey took my inspiration photo for my hair and made it more amazing than I could have ever imagined! They were super flexible leading up to the wedding day, accommodating a couple of last-minute changes about who was getting what done. They also sent over a detailed timeline and guidelines (arrive with clean hair, moisturized faces, etc.) before the day-of, which was incredibly helpful. On our wedding day, they were a wonderful, cheery addition to our getting-ready party, and also COVID-conscious by wearing masks while working with me and my bridal party. Each member of my bridal party came with their own unique vision for their hair/makeup, and whether it was a full up-do or just a blow-out, Katie and Stacey were able to make their visions come true! On the day-of, I made a couple of requests for alterations based on my hair/makeup trial, and they were able to accommodate them perfectly. Both Katie and Stacey made each all of us feel like we had been friends for years, and I valued their friendliness just as much as their hair/makeup knowledge! I wish I lived closer to Portland so I could go there all the time for my regular haircuts!

I worked with Katie and Stacey for wedding hair and make-up. I first did a trial run with Katie in Portland, which was great. Not only did we just get a sense to think about hair updos and make-up and colors but we had a chance to just get to know each other and connect as people. She and I bonded over the amazing color she recommended for my lips. Then Katie and Stacey came out to my dad's house to help me, my family, and friends get ready before my wedding and they could not have been greater. Not only did they just mesh well with my family and friends - who were all just hanging and it was a pretty chill gathering - but the hair and make-up they did for me, my sisters, and my mom were so gorgeous. AND my hair stayed through the ceremony, hurricane Henri rain, a 30 min hora dance, the rest of the reception, and more dancing. I couldn't believe how much it and the gorgeous makeup stayed put and looked beautiful through the whole night. Ultimately, also, they were just so kind and good at calming me down as well. I couldn't recommend them more.

These professionals came to the venue and did makeup and hair for 10 women. Everyone was a little different but each was beautiful. They did everything from light natural makeup to more dramatic makeup depending on what the individual wanted. There was a combination of updos and curls. Each was beautiful and withstood the humid day.

Katie and Stacey are amazing. They did such a great job on all of our hair styles - both short and long. They're so entertaining and really added a positive vibe to getting ready on the big day. During my hair trial, Stacey made it really clear it was a partnership/ she would take feedback, etc. and I could email her for advice as I select my hair accessories - which I really appreciated as I had no idea what I wanted my accessories to look like at the time. I really appreciated her opinions for hair pins/ combs as well. 10/10 would recommend.

Stacey and Katie did an incredible job making me and my bridesmaids look and feel beautiful! Not only are they both incredibly talented, but they are also both just lovely humans who were a pleasure to spend time with. I had never had my makeup done before and was having trouble articulating what I had in mind, and Katie was so, so patient with me and even scheduled a second trial to make sure we got it just right. She nailed it!! Stacey was equally patient when I completely changed my mind about how I wanted to do my hair, and she also got it exactly right! I can’t imagine having been happier with anyone else’s work. These ladies are the best!!

Stacey and Katie are the amazing team who did the hair & makeup for my wedding party and they are simply amazing!! They are incredibly talented and also just all-around gems. They are so funny & fun & relaxed - they made the morning getting ready so memorable and fun for me and my bridesmaids. The day would not have been the same without them! They made everyone look like a beautiful, elevated version of themselves. They make it look so effortless because they are both just so incredibly talented. Katie styled my hair for my micro-wedding this winter. I planned my wedding from out of state so I didn't have an opportunity to come for a trial or anything, but Katie completely understood my vision for my whole wedding look and created the perfect hairstyle to go along with it! She was also very sweet and cool, and I was lucky that she was able to be flexible and see me a bit early when I was starting to get anxious about my timeline.

Stacey and Katie are an amazing team of stylists! Together they made myself, my maid of honor, bridesmaid and mother look amazing on my wedding day. After meeting them at their salon for my trial I had no doubt these were the ladies for me. So friendly and wanting to do as much as they could to make me happy. They looked at pictures I had gathered and came up with a look better than I could’ve imagined. On the day of, they came to us at the hotel. They stuck to the timeline they had created and it worked for everyone. They were more than just stylists. Need the gown steamed and a couple extra hands for the process? Katie was right there lending a helping hand. Cannot recommend these girls enough!

I can not say enough good things about Katie and Stacey. They are both so talented at what they do and could not have been easier to work with leading up to the wedding and on our big day. We had an early morning with 7 bridesmaids, 2 moms and the bride but these ladies made it so much fun. All of my girls looked amazing, they made me truly feel like a bride and my mother in law is still raving about how beautiful she felt that day. Thank you ladies, you are truly one of a kind!

To start off I must say that I was not your “typical” bride. As someone that was having a very non-traditional wedding I was worried about my “off beat” vision being seen. Both Stacey and Katie listened to me and made sure that my hair was big enough, my eyeliner winged enough, and that my lashes were long enough. I scheduled a trial and was over the moon happy with both my hair and makeup but of course me being me from the trial to the day of my wedding I had changed plans for both hair and makeup and they didn’t miss a beat and were able to give me the exact look I was going for and even helped add a head piece that was very complicated. I have never felt as beautiful or more like myself. It was truly a magical day and Stacey and Katie played a huge part in that. If you are looking for a team that is as talented as they are awesome then Ollo is the right choice for your special day.

Katie & Stacey are amazing!!!! Same sex wedding so we had 12 bridesmaids ,2 brides and 2 moms!!! They had the timing down pat and had everyone looking so gorgeous!!! They are so skilled and such wonderful women- they are like part of the family now!!! Can’t thank them enough!!! Def a 5 star team!!!!!!

Katie and Stacey are so talented, fun, and amazing to work with! They made me feel so beautiful and special on my wedding day, while also making me feel incredibly comfortable and relaxed. They were so wonderful with my bridal party as well, and all of the bridesmaids, as well as my mom and mom-in-law, loved their hair and makeup. Extra special thanks to Katie for being so sweet to my 5 year old niece who was our flower girl - and redoing her hair twice :) Not only are they so great at what they do, they are also just so hilarious and down to earth, and kept us all laughing and relaxed on the wedding day. They were also awesome about maintaining a busy timeline of a large bridal party! Also special thanks to their colleague Gina who stepped in at the last minute to help out as well when they needed an extra set of hands! I could not recommend Ollo Salon highly enough!

All of my bridesmaids couldn’t stop raving on the service they recieved by Ollo! The 3 hair & makeup artists that trekked out to Millinocket, Maine for our wedding were wonderful! They were so fun we wanted to invite them to stay for the reception! They made everyone feel beautiful and comfortable. Including the bride :) highly recommend!!

I had a really wonderful experience with Ollo Hair Salon for my 7/14/18 wedding. Katie and Stacey were so fun and made the entire bridal party feel comfortable and enjoy the process. They listened to what each bridesmaid wanted and didn't "overdo" it on anyone (a common fear amongst my friends!). I had a consultation with Katie and Stacey to go over my style and what I was looking for; they knew even better than I did what would look better in terms of up-dos and makeup. I liked the makeup that they did at the consultation, but I liked it even better on the wedding day! They didn't rush anyone on the day and made sure that I really loved my hair and makeup. It's very evident that they love what they do and are dedicated to making brides look their absolute best. They are very professional, experienced, and warm people and I would highly recommend them to any bride!

Stacey is amazing!! She made us all look so beautiful, better then I imagined especially since none of us really knew what we wanted. The day was so much fun and I can’t wait to work with Stacey on future functions that I need to be done up for!

The minute I met Stacey for my bridal hair trial I felt instantly comfortable. She was so warm and funny, she eased all of my concerns and awkwardness right away. I showed her some hair pictures I had seen online and we talked through the vibe of the wedding. It turns out I was getting married at the exact place where she got married, and on her anniversary to boot! Over the course of the trial, Stacey got me talking about my relationship and how my *now* husband and I are together. At the time, this just felt like easy, wonderful conversation between friends. But through knowing Stacey's incredible work, I now know she was also getting a sense of who we are and what makes us shine. She wasn't just copying a picture from the internet. She wanted my hair to capture the essence of the weekend, the essence of Mike and my fun-loving, natural spirits. And she nailed it. My hair turned out perfectly, beyond anything I could've dreamed or Pinned. And even though it was a lot of work, Stacey made it seem easy, and made sure I was completely, 120% over-the-moon satisfied before she left. All of my friends also loved their hair and make-up, done by Stacey and the equally-amazing Katie--even the ones who have sworn off professional hair and make-up at weddings because they feel "overdone" or "not themselves." Stacey and Katie made all of us feel like our best, most beautiful selves. I couldn't recommend Ollo Salon any higher. If you are looking for hair and/or make-up for your wedding in Maine (or anywhere they are willing to go!) you can take a breath. You've found it.

Katie and Stacey at Ollo are amazing! The whole process of bookings with them, my hair/makeup trial, and the day of were a breeze. I was a little worried about how my bridal party would all fit in our hotel room to have our hair and makeup done, but Katie and Stacey set everything up and made us all feel so comfortable! Everyone looked amazing and Katie and Stacey got everybody's hair and makeup done super efficiently and creatively. I had planned to have a flower crown as my hair piece but when it arrived it looked way more spikey than I had anticipated. Stacey came up with a different way for me to wear it, cut it, and placed it beautifully on the back of my head. A lot of the guests at my wedding were so interested in my hair piece, I spent a good amount of the cocktail hour bending down so people could get a good look at my hair. I couldn't be happier with my experience with Ollo!

Katie and Stacy are THE BEST!!! I honestly cannot say enough about how amazing they both are. They made my wedding so beautiful. I felt so incredible as did my lovely bridesmaids. You cannot go wrong with them. They are so fun and talented you will not be sorry!!!

Stacey, Katie, Gina, and John are the absolute best. I contacted Ollo about 6 months before my wedding, and each interaction was positive, prompt, professional and warm. Despite the fact that I was planning my wedding from 100o miles away and couldn't make a hair/makeup trial until a few days before the wedding, their communication and friendly interactions put me at ease. Simply put, I could not have asked for a better team to help us out for the wedding. In addition to being so easy to work with, they do such beautiful work. My 7 bridesmaids, mother and mother in law looked gorgeous, and they helped me feel confident, and importantly, myself on the big day. Their prices are reasonable and their work and attitude make the whole package a true bargain. You cannot go wrong with this team! To this day, my mom and I still consider them MVP's of the wedding weekend.

I can't say enough about Stacey, Katie, and their team. They arrived to my suite at 6:45 AM and beautified my bridal party with ease. It was an early day but with the good vibes and an outstanding energy they brought, it was easy to get the day started. They are nothing short of AMAZING! I found Ollo Salon on by searching a couple of wedding websites. I had been looking for the right fit for quite some time. I think I contacted over 20 salons, independent make-up artists and hairstylists. Either no one was available or the price wasn't within my budget. I looked at their website to gather more information and just LOVED the fact that the owner, Stacey, works in the salon. Not only is her salon cozy and charming, so are the people that work there. I went in for a trial about two months before my wedding date. As soon as I walked in Katie greeted me with a hug and a kind smile. I could instantly tell it was going to be a great experience. Not only is Katie super talented in make-up application, she put my nerves at ease immediately and listened to exactly what I wanted. She nailed it on the first try. It was amazing. I have had my make-up done by professionals for past weddings I had been in. By far, no one did such a great job of listening to my vision and executing it with ease - while making me look "natural" and not loaded up with make-up. It was perfect. My hair trial was immediately after with Stacey, the owner. She is exceptional at her trade, while having a personality to match. I just loved her! Within 30 minutes she had a great rough draft of what my hair would look like on the wedding day. The big day came and there they are in my bridal suite getting us all dolled up! We had such a fun day. We were laughing and joking, listening to music while getting hair and make-up done by Katie and Stacey. They had seven total ladies, including me, to work on that day. Everyone's hair and make-up came out fabulous! I seriously could not have imagined anything better. All the ladies looked stunning, natural and beautiful. You can see in some of the photos how lovely they tied everyone's looks into matching one another while highlighting there individual style. I have never felt so beautiful. Every little detail was better than I had envisioned for my wedding day. Looking at the photos only confirmed that I made the right choice booking them for my big day. I will never forget Katie and Stacey. I can't wait to have another event to book their services for! In the mean time, I'll just have to settle on popping into the salon if I am in the Portland area. Katie and Stacy did my make-up and hair (respectively), for my wedding May 3, 2015 in Kennebunkport. Not only are they both professional and incredibly talented at what they do, but they felt like a part of my wedding party. I now consider them friends and would give them my ongoing business over any other salon. I have had my hair done in the salon since the wedding and it was such a lovely experience. I would highly recommend that anyone who wants to look gorgeous on their wedding day, or just wants a really nice new 'do, call the salon. They've found a forever client in me (and my husband!).

These girls are the best!! I found Ollo Salon when a friend of mine used them for her own wedding and everyone looked beautiful that I decided to book them for my own wedding later that summer! Kate did my makeup and she was amazing and also the sweetest person ever. Stacey worked with me through my bridesmaid updo, two hair trials (I changed my mind a lot), and then doing my hair twice on my wedding day (I told you I changed my mind a lot!), all the while she was cool as a cucumber and so patient with me. The end result was the PERFECT wedding look and I couldn't have been happier!! If you are looking for wonderful and talented people who will go the extra mile to make sure your wedding day look is perfect, go with Ollo :)

I loved getting ready at Ollo, as did the bridesmaids and my mom! The salon is a really nice, comfortable space and we had it all to ourselves. We brought in some snacks and made ourselves at home. Katie did my hair and makeup, and did makeup for all the other girls. There was another stylist (whose name is escaping me!) who did the girls' hair. Everyone was so happy with the results, we all got exactly what we wanted! Ollo's prices are reasonable, but you still get top notch service. For $100, I got a trial run, and hair and make-up on the day of. What a deal!
