I have over a decade of experience with Florals & Design. During college, I began working as a florist while attending Art School. Afterwards I developed a Set Design Company and worked in Film, TV, Commercials, & Event Production. I often incorporated my love for Floral Design in my projects. Eventually, I decided to combine my love to Florals and Spatial Design to create, Ol'Thorn. We provide a different style of design. I shoot for eclectic & immersive experiences. We are a team of creative artists who strive to impress!

My husband and I had decided on a courthouse wedding and then VERY last minute (like, a week before) decided that we wanted a very intimate dinner following with just our immediate family and closest friends. A friend recommended Michele and luckily since it was a Wednesday she was able to fit us in. I can’t explain how beautiful what she pulled off - it was absolutely magical for our guests and meant so much to us to feel heard when we gave her a framework of what we wanted. She took it to the next level and it was a night no one in attendance will ever forget. So grateful and couldn’t recommend her more!

From the moment I reached out to the end of my wedding, I felt so much ease about selecting Ol'Thorn as my Florist. They're responses were quick and informative. Michele's proposals were absolutely beautiful, I knew exactly what I was purchasing, and the floral selections were seriously different! I received many quotes for my wedding, but Ol'Thorn's really stood out. The styles proposed for my arch, down to the candle votives were impeccable. Michele really knows how to work within a budget, yet put a unique spin on it. We were very pleased and would refer them to anyone!!

The two best decisions I ever made were marrying my husband and hiring Ol'Thorn to help create my dream wedding. As someone in the event industry, I have high expectations and am particular when it comes to choosing vendors. But it was clear from the moment I met Michele that they were the team for me. The process was seamless from start to finish. They are transparent, genuine, and extremely passionate about their craft. If that’s not a winning combo than I don’t know what is. Wedding planning can be stressful, but these guys made it FUN. The intricate details and creative vision that Ol'Thorn brought to life was out of this world. They are creative geniuses and went ABOVE & BEYOND every step of the way. Our guests were blown away - as were we. We’ve been receiving non stop calls, texts, emails from people - even those that didn’t attend. I can’t recommend them enough.

Ol'Thorn went above and beyond for my wedding. They built an amazing floral wall and arch for my reception.
Everyone loved it, we all took so many photos! Michele was so helping throughout the design and inspiration process. She new exactly what I wanted and how to execute it.
I will definitely call her for any party I need flowers for!
the staff and Michele were wonderful, they did an amazing job and I would use them again for all my events!!

Incredible! Michele at Ol’Thorn is an amazing event/floral designer. You can tell she’s had loads of experience; her knowledge is really broad— I was amazed, for instance at how much she helped with furniture styling (it turns out she’s a seasoned antique restorer!). She was very receptive to my vision for our perfect day— I felt heard. She understood what I wanted perfectly, and was able to expand on my description the way only a tasteful, creative and remarkably imaginative designer can. The team at Ol’Thorn made sure everything ran smoothly, so we never had to worry or follow up. Clear plans were drafted and delivered ahead of time. I’m so grateful we found Ol’Thorn!! I honestly think our wedding was so much more beautiful than we could ever have imagined! Very grateful. Cannot recommend Ol’Thorn strongly enough!!
