Marriott Capitol District knocked it out the park for our daughter's wedding reception. The staff went out of their way to make sure we always had what we needed, from the tasting day which was SUPER fun, to the day of the event where even the drink manager found us to specifically serve us and make the specialty drinks we decided not serve at the wedding, but wanted to make sure we had them. And the food was excellent. We received many compliments on the quality of food and size of the filet! Also, having it at a hotel, we were concerned it may feel like a banquet hall or fundraiser, but that was not the case at all. The lighting and venue are absolutely gorgeous when it all comes together. And our guests loved being able to come up and down to their rooms with everything being on site and the elevators so close. I would highly recommend!
Omaha Marriott Downtown at the Capitol District is such an elegant wedding venue! We had a very pleasant experience working with all of their staff, and everyone was more than willing to meet our needs. They very clearly have extensive experience hosting weddings which made the planning process very smooth. We received so many compliments from our guests about the ballroom, guest rooms, and convenient and fun location of the hotel in the Capitol District. We highly recommend choosing this spot for a wedding reception!

Additionally, there are a variety of rooms suited for more intimate occasions, with capacities varying from 40 for a banquet in the Harney or Howard Room to 140 in the Douglas Room.
