My spouse and I had a weekend glamping wedding in Everett, PA. We started working with Allie only about 6 months before the event, so it was a quick turnaround for a lot planning, and we were SO impressed with how efficient she was. She understood our vision immediately (vibe, décor, etc.) and was so helpful in executing it. She handled all of the vendor contract/communication with ease (and there were a lot of them)! As a queer couple we felt SO comfortable with her and her gender-neutral approach (with terminology, making sure vendors are queer-friendly, etc.) in what is typically a pretty gendered industry. Over the weekend we had: a rehearsal dinner, a picnic softball game, a welcome party, the full wedding day/reception AND an after party silent disco, with hotels/shuttles/etc. All went off without a hitch thanks to Allie. We thrifted our dinnerware and had a U-Haul worth of DIY décor, which certainly didn’t make anyone’s lives easier, but again Allie saw the vision and managed it all with care. She even found some of our thrifted pieces while she was out thrifting herself. She was communicative and accessible throughout the entire planning process, even our guests complimented how on top of things Allie was. We really expected the weekend to be a little stressful (just inevitably due to it being our wedding), but the second Allie & Alyssa arrived onsite, neither of us was stressed the entire weekend. Even when things had to pivot quickly (rain caused us to have to move cocktail hour with live musicians indoors), it felt seamless. We also really appreciated how she made sure we had water, ate, had bathroom breaks and little moments for a breather throughout the wedding day. SO glad Allie was a part of the best weekend of our lives, we’d work with her again in a heartbeat and HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for a planner!

Hi, I'm Allie Gee, the creative force behind O.M.Gee Events! My journey to event planning began with a passion for performance. I earned my BFA in Dance Performance from The Boston Conservatory, performed professionally in NYC, Mexico, and Europe, and spent over a decade teaching dance. Along the way, I discovered my true calling: creating unforgettable experiences. From organizing childhood talent shows to planning my own wedding during a pandemic, planning has always been in my DNA. After earning my Event Planning Certification from IAP Career College, I founded O.M.Gee Events to help couples bring their unique visions to life with lots of heart, creativity, and zero stress. When I’m not planning events, I'm hanging out with my spouse June (they/them) and my adorable pets, Filly and Finn. I’m a proud queer creative, music lover (disco & funk are my faves), and a firm believer that you can never have too many houseplants.
