r. In particular, we really liked the grand staircase as a key feature in our first look and reception grand entrance. The only downside of our experience was that many of our guests had to pay for parking, but that was more due to the location in downtown Indianapolis rather than for the Omni themselves - the Omni did help with this by offering free valet parking to us (the wedding couple) and each of our parents though. Throughout our wedding experience, we worked with Tamryn as our coordinator from the Omni and she was great to work with. She was easy to get in contact with and was able to answer all of our questions leading up to the day; and on the day of, she was excellent in making sure everything went according to plan! Overall, we were happy with our choice of Omni as our venue! Thank you to Tamryn and the staff for making our day special!

She and the Omni were there to accommodate any request they could. I never felt silly asking any questions. The food was amazing (you always think it’s going to be better at the trial, the day of was just as good or better!). The venue itself is gorgeous. Being able to have everything in one place was a huge plus. They also provided some little things like table numbers, card box, etc which made it easier on us! Our guests seemed to love our venue and we received many compliments!!! I would not hesitate to have our wedding here again!

We also received an upgrade to use the presidential suite for the weekend, which was a great perk. I would definitely recommend the Omni to anyone looking at a downtown Indianapolis wedding.

oordinator. We loved the results of our wedding day at this hotel and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful throughout the process. The only callout would be for them to be a little more upfront about the additional charges for chairs and meal side dishes shown during the walk-throughs and sit-downs. Overall we'd definitely recommend this hotel for a wedding. It's in the heart of the city, walking distance from bars/restaurants, and gives you a city feel without having the chaos of a large city.

to myself, my wife, our families and our guests: 1 - The event space: The Omni is a beautiful hotel from the early 1900's that has a dream-like cinematic aesthetic. The beauty of the interior space from the grand piano, to the ornamented pillars, to the chandeliers, to the lighting itself makes you feel like you are a part of a nostalgic movie from decades ago. If you are thinking that other venues can achieve this look and feel, please reconsider the Omni for your event because there is something intangible about their space - I suspect its the tall, two-floor ceilings and large open space that makes it so welcoming for events like weddings. While other venues may have similar classical interiors, we noticed they lack the open space of the Omni, often with event rooms that are separated and segregated with unnecessary hallways, walls or low ceilings. The Omni is a beautiful space for weddings. 2 - The food: We have attended many weddings and with each of them, the food is generic wedding food - usually over seasoned with sauces and garnish that add very little flavor. It is understandable since the vendor has to prepare the same dishes en masse. With the Omni, the food was superb. We received many compliments from our guests for how delicious the food was and we noticed that ourselves. The food was incredible and tasted like each dish was personally prepared for everyone. 3 - The service: Good service is often subjective but we can say with all sincerity that the Omni provided the best service we could have asked for. In addition to accomplishing all the usual obligations as a wedding vendor, the Omni staff took every opportunity to improve our wedding experience. Most notable was the surprise they gave us on our wedding day when they had an upgraded suite become available, and they gave it to us at no extra charge. Additionally, the staff was especially inviting to us, our families and our guests. The staff members felt like our guests by the end of the evening thanks to their service, kindness, and even some participation on the dance floor when they could. It was enough for my father to write a special letter to the Omni thanking them for being so hospitable to all the guests. The Omni is a 10/10 for service and we would like to specifically thank our Omni representative, Caroline Steele, for leading the way on many of these decisions to accomodate us. If you're thinking of selecting the Omni Severin, do yourself a favor and ask for Ms Steele if she is still with the organization. She is an amazing professional and will always be a great friend of ours thanks to her amazing stewardship of our wedding weekend at the Omni. We understand that not every wedding is the same nor do they all turn out as well as ours. However, the Omni was the best money spent from the entire experience because those memories will last a lifetime and we will always look back on that weekend with great fondness and love thanks to the efforts put forth by the Omni Severin.

was a convenient space for our guests to host both a wedding and reception. Every question we had was answered in detail and we were treated with respect during the entire planning process! I had a two level bridal suite and my husband got a suite as well. We had no issues with the hotel staff and the service received was up to par. Cons:The main entree for the guests, Parmesan crusted chicken, I heard was very good after speaking with a few who attended the wedding. However, a select few (including myself and my husband) got the short rib. It DID NOT taste like it did at the tasting. The short rib was very dry and hard to chew. Everyone who got the short rib were not pleased. I was somewhat disappointed about that because I was looking forward to a tasty meal. The spacing in the lobby for the reception was a bit small and there a few tables that weren’t able to see what was going on because of the walls. Additionally, my husband and I were looking forward to giving a farewell to our guests in the ballroom balcony but we couldn’t because the door was locked. I heard of some instances with rude kitchen staff and we also had some issues with the front desk staff related to valet parking. Rooms were nice and spacious but could use an upgrade. Overall our experience at Omni was great, communication was on point, and the needs were met by the event staff to make sure our day was complete and as smooth as possible!

Caroline Steele, the Catering Sales Manager, did an excellent job helping us plan and execute all the details for our day like the food, beverages, table set ups, and ceremony space. She also helped to make sure everything went perfectly on our big day! It was so wonderful to not have to worry about a thing on our wedding day because Caroline and her team had coordinated with our other vendors to make sure everything was set up and executed according to our plan. I remember walking down the staircase after spending the morning getting ready and we were able to take in how beautiful the space looked before all our guests arrived. Every detail was truly more perfect than I could have imagined and the whole Omni team helped to create such a wonderful experience for us! We got a ton of compliments from our guests on the beautiful space, delicious appetizers, meal, and late night snack, and service from the staff. The hotel accommodations were great as well. We stayed in the presidential suite which was absolutely magical! It was the perfect space for me and my bridal party to get ready the morning of the wedding and has the perfect lighting for beautiful photos. We are so happy we had our wedding at the Omni Severin!

about the entire incredibly professional Omni staff, but working with Caroline Steele, Catering Sales Manager, was the most amazing experience. Caroline assisted with the planning of the entire weekend including the bridal luncheon, rehearsal, wedding day, wedding ceremony, reception, and Sunday brunch. Caroline is INCREDIBLE. She is detail-oriented, professional, amazingly responsive, and so on top of everything. Caroline seamlessly collaborated with us and our wedding planner. She took our vision and made it come to life more fabulously than we could have ever imagined. In addition to her professional talents, she is also a dream to work with interpersonally. She is warm, caring, sensitive, and always a calming and supportive presence. Thank you, Caroline and the entire Omni Severin staff, for my daughter and new son-in-law's magical weekend that will forever be remembered by us and all our family and friends!

! She coordinated all of our vendor drop offs, managed set up for the entire reception (including decor), took our gifts up to our room, and even was able to score us an extra backdrop for free! She checked in on us personally multiple times throughout the reception, and she made the entire planning process so easy and fun. I highly, highly recommend booking here. To sum it all up this was truly the perfect day, my husband was also very pleased with no major kinks along the way! roof. Lodging, dining, access to shopping, all surrounded by classic elegance, the Omni was the perfect venue for my daughter’s wedding. The Omni also provided us with Sarah B., our event coordinator who is kind, courteous, and detail oriented. During the year we spent planning the wedding, nothing escaped her keen eye and extensive experience in providing a perfect experience for the most important day of my daughter’s life. On top of all that, my daughter adored her and found a friend that made herself available for over 14 hours on the day of the wedding. Price wise, we found the Omni very close to the other venues we investigated, with the added bonus of complimentary, upgraded lodging and parking for the wedding couple, plus discounts for the family and guests. This knocked the competition out of the ring. Sarah and her staff are extremely attentive and highly motivated to provide a truly wonderful experience, and we left the Omni with the opinion that these people weren’t just doing their jobs, they are also very nice people. e entire process and my numerous emails and changes:) We absolutely loved working with the Omni for our rehearsal dinner and Tara was extremely organized and great to work with! It was a great space for our rehearsal and was able to accommodate our large group with ease. The event space, food, décor, and service were excellent! We also did a meet and greet at the Severin Bar after and the service and staff were great there and we had a blast! We had a great weekend downtown for our wedding and would definitely recommend the Omni for any event!

I was trying to find a venue where I didn't have to contact multiple vendors to get tables, chairs, napkins, food, etc. Everything is included. At first I thought it was a little pricing but for everything you get with your wedding package, it is TOTALLY worth it! It was soo easy to plan my wedding. One of my friends told me I should get a day of coordinator or a wedding planning but I didn't need one! The Catering Manager Sarah Bean was amazing! You would think she would just be in charge of the catering, but no she helped me SOOO much! She listened to us and what we wanted. I could email her at any time and she would get back to me, even if she was out of the office! On the day of our wedding she was amazing and made sure everything went the way we wanted it to. If anything went wrong I didn't know about it at all, she either fixed it or got someone to fix it! The entire staff at the Omni was soo nice and helpful! We had both our wedding ceremony and reception at the Omni and I wouldn't have had it any other way. A lot of our guests stayed at the Omni and if they didn't want to there are so many nearby hotels to stay at. All of our guests LOVED the food and drinks (open bar is so worth it) and the entire staff! I can't thank them enough for our amazing wedding day! The rooms are gorgeous!! Everyone was incredibly eager to make my day perfect. The wedding package is also very generous and my money went farther than some of the other venues I looked at. If I had to do it all over again, I would absolutely have my wedding at the Omni Severin.
