The results were stunning, and each person was extremely pleased. On a different note, my “wedding planner” had recommended 3 vendors for me to pick from, 2 were unavailable. The 3rd vendor was priced somewhere in the middle range. The price skyrocketed after I read the “fine print”. Hotel rental for each artist/stylist required, fee for holiday weekend imposed, travel costs reimbursed, etc. all were extra. I then went on “The Knot”, sent out a request for hair and makeup artists available on the date of the wedding. On-Canvas was one of many vendors who responded. I compared 6 vendors who I thought would work and picked On-Canvas. Their contract was straight forward (no hidden costs) their portfolio pictures were beautiful and because it is a small business owned by the makeup artist herself. Elle (owner) has a direct interest in making her clients look beautiful and feel happy and satisfied. She hires other equally talented artists and stylists, ensuring On-Canvas can and does service both small and large parties with great results.

We had a two-day event, so she did both stunning old Hollywood waves and an updo for me, and they maintained their beauty throughout hours of dancing and photos! Elle and Wren also helped with logistics for scheduling everyone's services, which was one less thing I had to worry about on the day. Hire On Canvas for your wedding, they will do amazing work for you! Pro-tip: Elle also is a fantastic choice for pre-wedding hair care. I went to see her prior to the wedding for my regular cut and color and she helped me a achieve the beautiful, dimensional blonde that I was looking for ahead of the day. I cannot say enough good things about her!

Her prices are fair and comparable to what I have seen around, especially for a master stylist. *UPDATE* I did hire On Canvas Wedding Team for my wedding. Elle and Wren did an amazing job. They came to my hotel the morning of the wedding to do my hair/makeup and both my daughter's hair/makeup. We were more then happy with the services. They are both professional, friendly, easy going and accommodating. Elle has been doing my hair for years and I was so happy to have her a part of my special day! I am not comfortable wearing much makeup but Wren did a great job of giving me a natural yet special bridal look. So happy I decided to have hair and makeup artists for my wedding, well spent money.
