Christian Lucas was our DJ and he absolutely exceeded our expectations on our wedding day. He kept the energy high from start to finish, read the crowd perfectly, and had our dance floor packed all night long. The music was exactly what we envisioned, and he made every special moment flow effortlessly. We received so many compliments from our guests about how much fun they had!

Jim read the crowd perfectly, making sure there was never a dip in energy. He created an incredible atmosphere that had guests of all ages out of their seats! We received so many compliments from family and friends on how amazing our music was. Jim also did an outstanding job as an emcee, keeping the timeline running smoothly without being intrusive.

We had a large range of ages at our wedding and he had everyone out of their seats dancing the whole night. Cherry on top- he was so attentive during dances and speeches. From recognizing the mic stand needed height adjustments to reading our cues when we were finished the special dances, he just got it. Getting to work with Christian for our wedding took our reception to another level of special, as our guests remarked all night and afterwards how much they enjoyed his set.
Notable benefits of having Christian DJ our wedding included great communication all along the planning process together, with an amazing way of curating our song requests with songs that now stand out to us from the night. He offered great suggestions and insight and is a true DJ professional. When wedding week arrived, he helped us feel confident that our guests were in for a great time!
An added bonus was how Christian was thoughtful in sharing the recording of our music that night to relive and enjoy, which was very much appreciated. He is a fantastic DJ, as working with him was one of the best decisions we made in planning our reception. 10/10 would recommend for any occasion!

He worked off of playlists for certain parts of the day when we had them, and when we didn't he took our music style into consideration and created a set that complimented it perfectly. He also really took our preferences into account. We wanted someone who would generally serve as a DJ more than an MC, with the exception of occasional directional cues to our guests and a photo game we asked him to lead, and he delivered perfectly. He was kind, professional, and very fun to work with. We can't thank him enough for being a part of our day and ensuring that everyone was having a great time.

dding to be present, to understand us, to be genuinely excited for us, his willingness to work with us and customize songs to our liking, and his thoroughness in preparing for our special occasion. When it came time for our wedding, he was excellent at communicating with us before the reception, making clear and concise plans for entrances, energy, and coordination. He did such a wonderful job curating the vibe we wanted, with a minimum of 30 people always on the dance floor. He was the perfect fly on the wall, never overtook the reception, but was exceptional at guiding guests and the event with a great voice, enthusiasm, and class. Every guest that attended told my wife and myself how much they loved DJ Pat! Our only regret is that we will never again be able to experience his services for our wedding, but given the opportunity, we would crash any wedding that he is working!

We want to start off by saying that our guests had an amazing time at our wedding! We had a great and memorable night, unfortunately there were some things that were missed by our ...
DJ that we still think about. We had requested six must-play songs, and only five were played. We also had written thorough instructions on which song to play right before dinner was served because it was personal, and requested that the DJ have all guests stand before the grand entrance which was important for how we wanted the night to flow, and instead these details were also missed. At the end of the day, we still had an amazing night and our guests would've never noticed these things. However, it is just frustrating to have paid a large amount for our wedding entertainment, to take the time to write out the instructions, have a meeting with the DJ where these things were discussed, and then it didn't happen as we asked. I am not sure what else we needed to do to be clearer. If you are not as serious about the little details of the night, then Double Up is perfect for you! We still enjoyed ourselves a lot, however this is the one vendor we used that we would choose differently if we did it again.

Our DJs do their best to balance honoring must-play songs and special instructions with keeping the evening flowing smoothly alongside the caterer’s timeline and keeping the dance floor full, but we understand how important those little moments are and how it felt when they weren’t exactly as expected.
We also recognize there was a misunderstanding around when guests were asked to stand for the entrances, and we’ll be making sure our planning and communication is even clearer in the future.

a little more laid back and refined), and the musicians and DJ he connected us with were professional and skilled.
We had an excellent solo harpist during our ceremony (Eryn Fuson), a small jazz band during the reception led by Gunnar Mossblad, and a DJ Jon Gill who took care of all the audio, introductions, and of course dance music to end the night.
They were all proactive in reaching out to us ahead of the wedding date to ensure our requirements would be met, and we even got some live demos. The intake form for the DJ was well organized too.
Would recommend to other couples looking for great music, and a streamlined experience getting your unique music needs met!

t compliments about DJ Pat. I (bride) never left the dance floor once... The mixing and transitions to pack as many songs in as possible was fantastic. We like a pretty broad range of genres, and he absolutely nailed it. There was also an amazing balance of music for different generations present - way better executed than we could have dreamed of.
We also appreciated the pep talk for our wedding party beforehand, it really set the tone for the whole night! It was really nice getting to know DJ Pat leading up to the wedding as well. He was always available to chat via video call or text if needed. And his shared spreadsheet helped us immensely during the chaos that is wedding planning (especially planning from abroad). Thank you so much for truly making it the most unforgettable night of our lives!

so many compliments after our wedding for great the music blended together and our guests truly never left the dance floor. Planning with Jon ahead of time was super easy and he listened to all of our concerns, music preferences, etc. Guesten played along with every single song and provided us and our guests with that "live music" feel. Nils truly captivated the crowd with his ability to play sax to any song of any genre. He was right there amongst our guests and truly was such a fun/unique experience. I will never forget how awesome our wedding day was and would not have been the same without this group!

it. Christian took the time to work with us on a vibe/playlist. He listened to us and we collaborated to really nail down the vibe for the night. I could not recommend them more. When I say people didn’t leave the dance floor… I’m really not exaggerating. The music was so fun and well mixed. The live instruments really took it to another level. I am so so so happy we went with this team. They gave it their full effort and I thank them so much for that. Incredible!I would hire them over and over again.

ng playlists beforehand and went above and beyond by looking at our other Spotify playlists to get our music taste. He mixed live and absolutely rocked the house. He also catered to multiple generations of wedding guests and made sure there was a good balance of music. Multiple people said it was the best wedding DJ they ever heard and looked him up for club shows.
He was also a thoughtful emcee for the wedding. He was a great communicator leading up to the event and was incredibly patient with us as we made several changes to the timeline in the month leading up to the event. We highly recommend working with him.
