Judy is great! She really knows hair. She and her team did a great job managing 11 women with all types of hair styles, textures, and lengths. Everyone’s hair held up really well all night too!

Working with Judy was such a wonderful experience. No words can possibly express how much I loved working with Judy, how excellent her work was, and how easy, enjoyable, and stress-free she made my experience. As a person who is also in the service industry, I can only hope my clients receive half the service that Judy gave to me; this is the highest compliment that I could possibly give. I did a hair and makeup trial, which was so much fun and helped to finalize some of the touches that I wanted to have the day of. It lasted about 3 hours, and we had the opportunity to talk through the look I was hoping to achieve as well as give it a try to variations to see if I liked something different a bit better. On the day of, my finished touches were so beyond what I could have expected. As an older bride (late 30s), I had a lot of anxiety about my appearance and hoped to look a bit like my younger self (but also appropriate!). I really felt like Judy helped me to look SO beautiful, exactly as I had always hoped to look on my wedding day. I also had my bridesmaids and mother get their hair and makeup done (with the help of Judy's assistant Vanda), and we all looked spectacular. They arrived on site, and were so well organized. They built in additional time in case we wanted to add additional services (a couple of my bridesmaids got spray on makeup last minute), and still finished well within our budgeted time without sacrificing ANY quality. I just cannot say enough about my experience with Judy. I am so thoroughly pleased, and I would hire her again a million times over (and probably will for upcoming weddings of family members). I absolutely loved working with her. Thank you, Judy, so so much!!!!!!!

Judy and her team were an absolute pleasure to work with! Typical for a bride in 2020, we had to reschedule our celebration multiple times and Judy stuck with us along the way as we navigated through the uncharted waters of planning a wedding during a global pandemic. Ultimately, we rescheduled our celebration for June 2021 and had a large bridal party of 11 bridesmaids who all required hair and makeup. Judy and her team were incredibly efficient and did an amazing job on everyone’s hair and makeup. Everyone was very pleased with their glam for the big day and everyone’s lasted throughout the night! Judy and her team kept everyone’s looks natural while still looking amazing in photos. I would absolutely recommend Judy and her team for your big day - especially if you have a larger bridal party!

Judy has a fabulous artistic eye! I am so happy with my choice to use her as a hair stylist for myself and my bridal party. She has just the right balance of listening and using her professional and artistic insight to make you into a bridal vision. All leading up to the big day she was supportive and excited. On the day of the wedding she was punctual, professional, and flexible. She and her team stayed true to our getting ready timeline which allowed us to get all of the photos done early so the bridesmaids could enjoy cocktail hour! She offered two different price options (full bridal and express styles) which my bridesmaids who were looking for a less expensive option/who were skilled at curling their own hair really appreciated. Everyone’s hair looked fabulous all night long.

Judy and her team were absolutely wonderful and had us all looking so beautiful! They were amazingly efficient - got all my bridesmaids, mother, and myself done quickly but without any stress at all. Judy immediately understood my style, enhanced what I was envisioning for myself, and I have never felt more beautiful. I can't thank Judy enough and can't imagine the day without her and her team!

Judy did hair and makeup for my mom, aunt, and I on my wedding and did a wonderful job. Because of covid, I didn't have the traditional bridal party and also had a lot of concerns about hair and makeup and social-distancing and Judy was a pro at everything! She came up with hair designs on the fly for my mom and aunt's long thick hair and did my updo so perfectly (we were able to add flowers from the florist later too!). She also did my makeup and it looked great (I don't usually wear much makeup either) and not at all cakey or unnatural (my red cheeks still showed through which I loved). But beyond this, Judy is a pleasure to work with and chat to which is important when you're spending a lot of the day with her! We loved getting to know her and my mom and aunt continue to rave about how kind and fun she was (and would love to hire her for everything if only they lived closer!

Judy and Vanda were great makeup and hair artists. I did a trial makeup and hair run for my wedding day that had to be rescheduled at the last minute and Judy was very accommodating to fit me in on a Sunday in early Phase 2 of Virginia for COVID. Judy and I were able to fine tune what I wanted to look like on the big day, so I didn't need to worry about it the day-of. My bridesmaids got express hair done by Judy and express makeup done by Vanda. They did an excellent and efficient job prepping us for the big day.

Judy and her team did the hair and makeup for me and my bridal party for my wedding in August of 2019 and were such a delight to work with! My hair can be pretty noncompliant and Judy worked with me prior to figure out a look that I loved that held up all night despite the heat! Her team also did an amazing job with the bridal party - they were very flexible and everyone loved their results! The makeup was also perfect and highlighted everyone's features without being overdone. They made getting ready such a pleasant and fun experience and I would highly recommend Judy to anyone for a great haircut or wedding hair and makeup!

She is professional, and works incredibly hard to make sure your day is exactly what you would want it to be! I went in and had no idea how I wanted my hair and make up to look. She was able to guide me through the process and was very patient with my indecisiveness! She is amazing!

Judy was SUCH a great vendor to work with for my early morning wedding! My makeup stayed all day long and I have such oily skin. I also wanted a very loose hair look which is hard to create and have it stay looking loose without falling down, but she pulled it off perfectly! Very thankful for the fantastic work she did.

Judy and her team provided hair and makeup services for my daughter’s wedding at The Homestead. Right from the start, Judy was amazing. She was very easy to communicate with and quickly responded to all emails. She drove several hours to do the trial hair and makeup and really LISTENED to what my daughter wanted. On the morning of the wedding, Judy and her team arrived and immediately set up and got organized. We had 20 people getting hair and/or makeup done including bride, wedding party, moms, grandmas, flower girls and the officiant. They handled it beautifully! Again, they were always listening and willing to make adjustments as needed. My daughter looked stunning!!! Guests commented that she was the most beautiful bride they had ever seen. Judy was a big part of that!

Judy and Vanda were absolutely fantastic in every way. We had hair and makeup for one bride and 3 bridesmaids, and they both made sure every last detail was taken care of that morning. My (bride) hair trial with Judy months earlier put me at ease immediately - I was so pleased with how much she listened to me and found the best way to work with my weirdly fine and difficult hair. My makeup was also flawless - everything pops in the photos! In addition to excellent artistry, Judy and Vanda also have fantastic personalities - they really made the morning a lot of fun and even graciously posed for a last-minute getting-ready selfie with us all. Judy was great from the hair/makeup trial to the actual day of the wedding. During my trial, she listened to what I was interested in, took feedback, and worked with me to nail exactly what I was going for. Then, on the wedding day, my hair and makeup came out even better than expected. Her team was kind, relaxed, and professional from set up to finish on the day of the wedding. Leading up to the wedding day, Judy sent a questionnaire to clarify who was getting what done, and to plan a timeline for the day. She and her team arrived on site with plenty of time to set up. Her lead stylist, Vanda, was also a gem to work with. Her team did hair and makeup for myself along with 5 bridesmaids, my mother, and mother-in-law. They were organized, and every single person loved their finished looks. Judy has been in the business for decades, and that is clear when you are with her. I think back to the morning of my wedding day, how stressed I was & worried about how it would all come together. The one thing I didn't have to worry about was how good my hair & makeup would look. When it comes to those things Judy exudes confidence that’s contagious. Judy and her team were wonderful! They arrived on time and jumped right into organized action. Before the big day, Judy set up a schedule to ensure every girl knew of her time slot for hair and make-up, making it easy and smooth! She is the sweetest and most talented hair and make-up artist, and made me and my bridesmaids feel beyond stunning for my wedding this fall. Judy came all the way down to DC -- a 2.5 hour drive -- to do my hair/makeup trial months before the wedding, carefully listening to every detail I wanted and talking me through the whole process. When I decided to change hairstyles a week before my big day, she didn't complain at all and constructed a beautiful updo on the day-of. Vanda, her assistant, handled all of our makeup and did a wonderful job making it look natural. They were so efficient, too! Got 6 bridesmaids and me all done up in less than 3 hours, and it didn't feel rushed at all. I can't recommend On Location bridal enough!

Judy and Vanda were a dream to work with. I couldn't have asked for a better experience with getting my hair and makeup done for my wedding. Judy and Vanda came to my Airbnb the day of for a few hours before we packed up and headed to the venue. There was a small charge for that but it made the experience more fun, getting ready at the venue. Both women are so talented and truly know what they're doing. My bridesmaids, mom, and mother in law all loved how their day of looks came out. I wish I could have Judy do my hair and makeup everyday!

Judy and Vanda were so great on my wedding day. We got married on the hottest day in June and I opted to have part of my hair down and curled. My style lasted all day and was still cute late at night, even though the humidity had wreaked havoc on it. My bridesmaids all looked totally adorable and it was great that they didn't have to bring in photos for inspiration, Judy and Vanda just got to work giving each girl a unique up-do that somehow totally matched their own style. Vanda was also super sweet with my mother-in-law who is rather picky. She initially just wanted her hair done, but then felt so comfortable with Vanda she also had her do her makeup - high praise, believe me. Judy and Vanda were such a calming presence on my day and felt like part of the gang. I really loved having them around and would absolutely recommend them!!

Judy and her team (Vanda and Daphne) were truly a dream to work with for my wedding. Leading up to the event, Judy worked diligently with me to make a plan for the day so that everything was stress-free and enjoyable. Even when she was traveling, she was communicating with me to get all of the details finalized. It was such a pleasure working with each of them on the day of the wedding, and extra special that they met us at the venue and were able to do our hair and makeup on-site. I highly recommend Judy for on location hair and makeup! Judy does an AMAZING job with styling your hair. I knew I wanted my hair down but was unsure what style I should go for that would look good with my dress. Judy gave me a classic, elegant look that absolutely floored my husband. All my bridesmaids loved their hairstyles as well! Some chose to have their hair up, and others down. It amazed me and how elegant they all looked! Also, Vanda, the lead makeup artist, did an AWESOME job on our makeup. She chose a gorgeous lip color for me and gave me a classic, not overdone look. It's almost like our faces were her canvas and she just knew exactly what to do! Most importantly, they are so much fun to chat with, and make it a stress free, fun time with your closest friends and family. Thank you ladies for making us look so beautiful. Found Judy on this website. Had no idea what to expect. She did a fabulous job on the wedding trial run prior to portrait sitting. We were very excited and the MOB and 4 others had their hair/makeup done by Judy and her Assistant Vanda. While the cost of service was not cheap it was well worth it. They were fun the day of and made the experience great for everyone. We loved the airbrush makeup so much. Highly recommend.

After contacting many salons for my daughter's wedding, I hired Judy based on her professionalism, experience and positive attitude. She was so easy to work with and always patient during the planning process. Judy provided enough staff to get everyone ready in a timely manner. They did an excellent job on hair and makeup. Judy and her team were amazing! She was so helpful with narrowing down my bridal look (I had lots of ideas!) and created exactly what I wanted! I had my bridal portraits a few months before the wedding and Judy did my hair and makeup trial. I knew I was in good hands the entire process and was so happy with my choice in hiring her! She also was very accommodating the day before and did my hair and makeup before my bridesmaids luncheon/ rehearsal. She is so kind and fun to be around too, which you definitely want when you're spending the majority of your day getting ready with someone. I kind of decided to have makeup done professionally last minute. The price was reasonable. She was easy to keep in touch with the through the whole process. She showed up on time the day of and got me, my mom and mother in laws makeup done in a timely manner. My mom and mother in law looked amazing! Just enough to look stunning, but not over done. My make up didn't turn out exactly like the picture I had and I had my doubts, but I wil say that once I saw myself in pictures it looked absolutely amazing! The airbrushing was perfect for my fair skin tone and the eye makeup was on point. Just trust in her! The makeup looks like a lot but is stunning in pictures. Everyone complimented on it! Would definitely recommend!
