Carla is AMAZING! My bridesmaids and mother are still talking about how stunning our flowers were. One of the bridesmaids bouquets that someone took home lasted for more than 2 weeks, which is a testament to how fresh everything was. Carla worked closely with me to understand what I liked and what I didn’t, and helped me pull together my entire reception vibe. She gave great advice, and helped pull everything together better than I even imagined it would be. My bouquet was STUNNING and I am so glad that I opted to preserve it because I just want to stare at it forever. Carla also is very sensitive to her bride’s budgets, and for that I am really appreciative. She went into detail about what cost what, and helped me pick and choose to get what I wanted without breaking the bank. She was seriously the best, and you should absolutely trust her with your florals!

Carla was a gem to work with, I came to her month 4 of planning my wedding and she worked with in my budget, made my dream of having baby breath balls for the mothers tables come to life and was SO organized I did not have to stress about her. She is a fast communicator, friendly to work with and also realistic about what will look good in floral and table ascetics that aligned with my elegant timeless wedding theme. Have your play with flowers day earlier than you think to make sure the flowers you want are in season. I wanted to have cherry blossom trees incorporated and instead of using real ones she had artificial cherry blossoms and no one (including me) could tell the difference! If you want to have a florist that is dedicated to hearing your ideas and bringing them to life with honest advice on how it will look honestly book her she’s such a good person too you’ll enjoy working with her. I cannot say enough about Carla. I gave her a budget in the beginning, and she sent me a very detailed outline of what she would do. She did not try to upsell me or price gouge. She just worked with what I had. She is so kind and so genuine, I truly enjoyed being around her. I did not get to see her while she was decorating for my daughter’s wedding, but I went to look at it after it was complete, and she went beyond what I had asked for adding her own special touches and extras. Everyone was making comments on how beautiful the wedding decorations were. You cannot go wrong using Carla.

We were referred to Carla through a friend who is a wedding planner and we are SO happy with her work. We did the play with flowers and Carla worked with us to create our exact vision. She was incredibly knowledgeable and easy to work with. Day of, everything was perfect. She worked with our coordinator so we didn't speak with her much day of but everything was stunning and flawlessly executed.

Carla did the flowers and decor for my wedding on March 25, 2022. She did an outstanding job! She did flower arrangements for the ceremony as well as the reception covering 22 tables. Unlike some of the other vendors we talked to, Carla did not price gauge, was very fair and reasonable, and worked with us to execute our vision and keep us in our budget. I would highly recommend her services.

Carla is beyond awesome - I cannot recommend her enough. To be honest, she was one of the few vendors that we worked with that went above & beyond to make our wedding day special. She was so patient when working with us, and even worked with me on last minute changes. She was conscious about our floral budget and really just did everything right. Carla is an excellent florist. She is very knowledgeable and creative. She was able to take the vison that I had for our big day and make it a reality. I quite enjoyed the planning meeting. She made it a very enjoyable experience. She is a pleasure to work with and went above and beyond to make our big day a reality going as far as spending the night at the hotel when a snowstorm became a possibility so that she was sure to be there for us. I was very happy that she showed such dedication to making our big day a success. I highly recommend her.

Carla puts together the most amazing floral arrangements! We booked her based on her online profile, but prior to our wedding she had a day that we went to her and saw examples of the bouquets and arrangements we'd asked for. Seeing them in person helped us to make little tweaks to get everything perfect for our wedding day. I loved how she arranged the tables and repurposed flowers from the ceremony to the reception. She also made the most beautiful chuppah which was more lovely than I ever expected.

Carla was an absolute joy to work with!! Our original florist turned out to be a crook, but thank god for Carla coming in to save the day! She called me and made sure she understood everything I wanted and she definitely delivered. All of our florals were exceptionally beautiful and she was so kind and helpful on our wedding day!

Carla is incredible! I honestly can’t say enough about her: she’s talented, kind, professional and flexible. Carla was very mindful about working within my budget while providing awesome floral ideas for my wedding day. The best part was that we got to work together on my decor and floral arrangements beforehand with actual flowers (she calls it her “Play with Flowers Day” and its so helpful). On my wedding day, Carla went above and beyond my expectations. The floral arrangements were GORGEOUS. She even added flowers to areas of the venue I didn’t think about (she decorated my sign-in table with leftover flowers, which was a lovely surprise)! Carla was such an amazing help leading up to the day of my wedding. Planning a wedding from 4 states away is never easy, but she worked around my schedule and I always felt confident in her abilities. The wedding day came around and... I mean, WOW. The flowers were simply STUNNING. My bouquet was one of my favorite parts of the whole day! I almost cried when I had to cut up some of it to preserve it. Everyone was complimenting the florals all night long, they truly pulled my day together. Carla is an incredibly talented artist, and a fantastic person to work with! I 1000% recommend her!

Her pricing was amazing and one of the main reasons I picked her was because of her "Play with Flowers Day" where she brought me the boutonnieres, my bouquet and my bridesmaids bouquets AS well as all the table arrangements I had narrowed it down to. Carla at On Occasions of Atlanta was such a pleasure to work with! She provided the floral design and event decor for our wedding and we couldn't be happier with how it all turned out. Not to mention how much fun we had in the process. It was clear Carla wanted to make sure we would absolutely love the flowers. She even setup time for us to meet her at a wholesale flower warehouse to get an idea of what we liked. And on top of that we had a "play with flowers day" where she put together different bouquet combinations until we found one that was perfect for us. We were not easy clients to work with either. Every time we met we had at least 5 other people with us that we were including in the planning process and Carla was so patient and made sure everyone felt included and listened to. The day of the wedding I felt so calm knowing that Carla had everything handled and she made our space look so beautiful. She went above and beyond and also saved the day with last minute things that popped up like needing extra easels. She was by far one of our favorite vendors that we worked with and if we ever have any future needs for floral or event design we will 1000% be calling Carla!

Carla and the On Occasions team were awesome to work with! I met with Carla about 9 months before my wedding to draw up a plan for what I wanted for florals on the wedding day. My day of flowers were spot on from the drawings and pictures, everything was perfect. To top it off On Occassion’s prices were better than any florist that I met with in Atlanta (I met with at least 5). The best thing about working with On Occasions is that Carla picked up all of the flowers are the wedding and donated them to charity! Incredible to work with!

Carla made our wedding day beautiful! From our first meeting, Carla was detailed and professional. I was able to meet with Carla for a Play with Flowers day, and she showed me what my arrangements would look like. On our wedding day, our flowers were even more beautiful!

Carla is AMAZING!!! Not only are her flower arrangements and decor beautiful, but she is such a good person! Picking out a florist was the first time I felt overwhelmed during the wedding planning process, but when I met Carla all my stress went away. She drew out all the tables and different centerpieces for me which really helped me envision everything. She understood my vision and what I wanted and executed it perfectly! I got married at the Biltmore Ballrooms which is already a gorgeous venue but her beautiful decorations and flowers made it absolutely stunning! Her prices are also very fair! My wedding coordinator is also a florist and she said Carla's prices were cheaper than hers and that I was getting a great deal! It's nice to not feel like you're getting gauged especially since weddings are so expensive already. My favorite thing was the play with flowers day! We met at the venue and she showed me what the floral arrangements looked like and also brought table cloths so I could see it in person! Carla exceeded my expectations and was such a joy to work with! :)

Carla was 1000% amazing!! I was overwhelmed with selecting floral arrangements and was planning a wedding from another state, but Carla was attentive, creative, and did a breathtaking job on our flowers. I can't express in words what Carla did for us! She understood our budget, our worries, our vision. I hate wasting flowers, so she ensured me they would be donated to a local hospice after the wedding. I hate cookie-cutter centerpieces that perfectly match, so she made each centerpiece slightly different from the next, creating variance and texture. She knew I wanted a chuppah that was representative of our love of spring and nature. She delivered on everything I wished for. She transformed the entire venue and everyone in attendance couldn't stop gasping at the gorgeousness of it all. Brides: Just because it's a wedding doesn't mean you need roses everywhere! Carla is the best florist in Atlanta! I struggled to find a florist for my New Year's Eve wedding and feel so lucky to have found her. There are a select few vendors I would recommend over and over again and she is one of them! From the very first meeting, Carla makes you feel comfortable and impresses you with her knowledge of flowers, and weddings in general. You can be as hands on as you would like with the process, we went to the flower cooler with Carla to see and choose flowers for the bouquets and also had a "play with flowers" day to see the whole thing come together where she brought a sample bridal bouquet, bridesmaid bouquet, and a boutineer. But at the same time, if you do not want to do any of that, you can just as easily show her a picture for her to recreate. Carla is extremely professional and responds in a timely manner to emails, texts, and calls. It was extremely cold for my outdoor December wedding and Carla called me the week of to see if I wanted to make any changes to the flowers that did not do well below 32 degrees but in the end she kept everything in the van until the last minute and everything was absolutely perfect. She transformed an outdoor pavilion into my dream wedding, I highly recommend her, and her work!

Carla is an amazing person and florist. I can honestly say that out of all of my vendors, she was the most professional, knowledgeable, easiest to work with, and I had COMPLETE trust in her! I was able to show her pictures of what I wanted for my centerpieces and overall look of my wedding (which was old hollywood all red roses) and for my rehearsal dinner (white hydrangeas in wooden box for a wine theme) and she not only delivered, she went over and beyond. Her prices are so reasonable and she is so fair. She had worked with my venue before and knew all the details of the location which was great. She was by my side at the final walk through which gave me extra confidence that everything from the runner to the flower petal toss would go smoothly. I would recommend her to any bride or anyone looking for designing an event.

She doesn't try to up sell you on anything. AND she puts together a bouquet and centerpiece at one of your consults so you can see what it is going to look like before your wedding and make changes. I could not have been happier we went with them -- they are the first vendor I recommend to others when they ask about the wedding.

Carla did an awesome job for my wedding. Everytime i met with her, she was very reasuring and it was clear she knew her stuff. I had been to several other weddings where she was the florist so i knew she was good and i had confidence in her work... BUT. Carla does not return calls which can be frustrating for a bride who is not familiar with her. I will def. recomend carla but i will warn the bride you have to be patient and she always comes through with GREAT work. Her prices are also very reasonable.

the moment i met Carla, I knew she was it! She has a passion for flowers and really understand my vision for our wedding. She just got it! She was great to work with. The best part was her "play with flowers" day to allow you to look at real samples of your centerpieces and bouquets to see if you want mor or less flowers or to make changes. I contacted Carla after a friend's recommendation. I was told that Carla worked with her $1000 budget. When I contacted Carla, I was told my flower request would run $1500+ (I wanted to spend less than $1000), that October weddings in Atlanta were extremely popular, and she had a minimum charge of $1800 for October. I was disappointed and frustrated with this information (her tone made me feel like I was silly to want to spend less than $1000 on flowers). Fortunately for me, I found a wonderful florist (Leslie Wacker at Southern Stems) and ended up going over my budget because she was so friendly and willing to work with me.
