Jesse was unbelievably amazing! He was a true professional, a great listener, and had the perfect balance of directing us on the wedding day. His communication was quick and responsive throughout the wedding planning process. The style he captures is exactly what my husband and I were looking for...clean and elegant with beautiful lighting. We couldn't be happier with our wedding pictures!! We highly recommend him!!

We had Jesse at On Point Images as our wedding photographer last summer (along with his assistant Dara), and our engagement photographer the year before that. We are IN LOVE with all of our pictures!! He captured every moment so beautifully, beyond what we ever could have imagined. Jesse is wonderful to work with on a personal level as well. He is very warm and creative, responsive to all communications, and makes you feel at ease. After we received our pictures from the wedding, I told him that I wish I had wall space to print and hang every single image and I truly meant it! On Point Images was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, and I strongly recommend them!!

From start to finish, working with Jesse at On Point Images has been nothing short of phenomenal. My family was so impressed by Jesse and his assistant photographer that day, Alicia, that my brother started a round of applause for them as they left for the night – I’m not sure how many other photographers make that noteworthy of an impression on wedding guests! Having Jesse and Alicia there on such a big day was the best – they somehow managed to be everywhere at once without ever seeming intrusive, and we still don’t know how they managed to move around the dance floor as quickly as they did! If you’re going to have someone with you throughout the entire day of your wedding, you definitely want Jesse there. He was so calm even when no one else was, he rolled with new photograph ideas and always welcomed our questions of “can we do this, what about a picture over here?” and he was truly a pleasure to throughout our big day.

Jesse was top notch from the very beginning. His communication was stellar, his pricing and packages were very clearly laid out and very good value for the cost, in our opinion. We first met up with Jesse over coffee. He made us feel completely comfortable and answered all of our questions. He traveled to Boston a few months later to shoot our engagement pictures. It was awesome to spend this time getting comfortable working with him, and definitely helped put us at ease for the big day. After getting the engagement pictures back we knew we had made the absolute right choice for our wedding photographer. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, when I was a frantic mess, Jesse assured me everything was in order and I believed him. On our wedding day he certainly delivered. He was professional yet kept everyone laughing and perfectly captured every moment, and every detail that I had spent the last year planning. We just received our photos and I am so glad to be able to have these wonderful memories of our special day. Five stars.

Jesse is an incredibly professional and a truly amazing photographer and artist. I do landscape photography and am very picky about the work of other photographers. From the very first meeting, my fiancé (now wife) and I felt as ease with him. We asked him several questions and went for a tour of the mansion and grounds that were our wedding venue. He answered all of our questions and helped us through the entire process. I have a Persian background and had additional questions as to who certain aspects of our culture can fit into the busy schedule of the shots after the ceremony. Jesse easily accommodated us and the resulting Photos were just breathtaking. All aspects of our wedding were beautifully photographed by Jesse and his assistant for a very reasonable cost. We absolutely love the ceremony shots as well as the couples shots, family portraits, and shots of hours dancing. The shots from our first dance were incredibly lovely as well as candid shots of me getting teary eyes when i first saw my bride coming down the aisle with her father. I strongly recommend Jesse and his team. He si a very creative photographer and one whose work we will always respect and remember.

Jesse is a great photographer. He is easy to talk to and takes direction well. He met with us 3 times before the wedding and guided us with what we should do for the photos that we wanted. We also wanted some more photo-shopped pictures and he was able to fix some of the photos to the way we wanted it but they were great to begin with. He caught really great photos of the reception. He is also very fast to get his pictures out to us. He gave us a very cute polaroid of out wedding photos the day of the wedding. Over all a wonderful photographer.

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Jesse for our engagement photographs as well as our wedding photos. I actually heard about Jesse from my cousin who was married in Madison, CT. Jesse was her photographer. As a bridesmaid, Jesse was very professional and took amazing photographs! When it came time for my wedding, it was a no brainer that I would ask Jesse to be our photographer. My husband and I are based out of Newburgh, NY and Jesse was VERY accommodating with meetings and traveling. On our wedding day, Jesse and his assistant were great! The thing that James and I loved about him was you never knew he was there! He captured every moment without pestering us. Any photo idea we came up with during the day he was more than willing to take. I would highly recommend Jesse for any event especially for weddings!

I highly recommend Jesse as a photographer for your wedding. He was fantastic from start to finish. I did a lot of research on every vendor that I picked for my wedding. Researching for a wedding photographer was the most overwhelming I found. My mom's co-worker is using On Point Images, so I decided to reach out to him as well. I am so glad I did! Jesse was the first and only photographer I met. I knew when I met with him that I could trust him to deliver exactly what I was looking for. Beautiful photographs, with a lot of artistic thought behind them. During our initial meeting, Jesse took the time to patiently answer all of my questions (I ask a lot!), and show me albums of his pictures. He also met up at a location that was convenient for me too. (As a side note, he always met me at locations that were convenient for me or locations that I chose. He was the only wedding vendor who did this for me and as you can imagine it was incredibly convenient for me.) I also knew his personality would go along very well with my now-husband. My husband is not very comfortable taking pictures and dislikes it very much. I knew from speaking with Jesse and seeing how laid back Jesse is that it would be a good fit. Jesse's packages vary, and offer in my opinion everything you could possibly be looking for. In addition, they are at a good price. My husband and I did a 1 hour engagement session. Jesse's packages offer 2 hour sessions, but as previously mentioned my husband does not enjoy taking pictures so he and I compromised on a shorter engagement session. Jesse was extremely accommodating to this. Jesse is also comfortable taking pictures with dogs during engagement sessions, which was great since we brought ours along! He is a dog friendly photographer! Jesse was great at making us feel at ease during our engagement session. He has a great balance of posing you, but also letting you take very natural pictures walking around, or talking, etc. He has endless ideas, and we were thrilled with the way the pictures turned out. After our engagement session (it was the first time my husband met our photographer) he told me I made a great choice and that he was impressed with how knowledgeable Jesse was, but also not in your face or intense like he was expecting from a wedding photographer. Jesse was continually great and quick about communicating with me throughout my year engagement. Before our wedding, my husband and I met with Jesse again regarding how we wanted our wedding day to flow. We stated that we didn't want to be pulled away from the wedding to take any pictures, and solely wanted pictures taken during cocktail hour. He not only respected this, but helped us build our timeline for the entire wedding day. During our actual wedding day, Jesse did a great job of capturing everything we had discussed. He is very discreet while taking pictures, and certainly not in your face at all. We are so so so happy with our pictures. They are truly beautiful and something that we will treasure always.At the end of our wedding, Jesse provided us with a tiny Polaroid picture that he took of us during our portraits during cocktail hour. It was such a nice little touch, and great to see a sneak peak of one of our pictures! You will not be disappointed picking Jesse as your wedding photographer. Not only is he a fantastic photographer, but a great guy as well! He is passionate about what he does and it shows.

There is a warning above where I am typing this review that warns "some things are too good to be true. If we suspect your review it bogus, we'll have to remove it." I seriously hope my review is not removed because it is 100% genuine, but my experience working with Jesse truly exceeded my expectations in every way! When I first starting looking for a photographer and searching through countless websites and online portfolios everything seemed to be about the same - beautiful photos, everything looked great, but nothing really stood out. Then I had the good fortune of finding On Point Images and as I started to look through Jesse's work I knew he would be the perfect match for our wedding. Our reception was in a historical barn with practically no lighting and very high ceilings and our wedding was outside of the barn - a search through Jesse's work confirmed that he had shot in similar settings with beautiful and artistic results. My initial interactions with Jesse were all over the phone because I was living far from CT. Communication with Jesse was easy and comfortable - I explained the "feel" I hoped to create for my wedding and I felt confident that he could help me realize my vision. When I was finally able to make it to CT a couple of months prior to the wedding Jesse met with me, my finance, and my mother - he answered all of our questions and shared more information about what the wedding day shot would be like. Jesse asked specific questions related to how involved we wanted him to be with us during the day and what types of photos were most important to us. We let him know to feel absolutely free to pull us out from wedding activities anytime he felt there was a good photo opportunity. I felt very prepared going into that day and knowing what to expect. The day of the wedding was truly like a dream come true. Jesse and his assistant Alisha were there throughout the experience, capturing small and big moments, all which are incredibly important to us. There were so many times that I did not even know a photo was taken until I was able to see them online. For example, there was a moment when maid of honor was zipping up the back of my dress while my stepdaughter ran through the room and gave me a huge hug - Jesse captured this moment and it brought tears to my eyes to see it because I didn't even realize, or simply forgot, he was taking photos at the time. Jesse and Alisha were integral parts of our day. They were both professional and very accessible/kind/caring at the same time. It is clear that they both truly enjoy their work as photographers and seemed to have fun shooting the event and interacting with the wedding party and guests. I feel like Jesse captured the true essence of who Brian and I are as a couple - in 99% of the photos we are both smiling and the few that we were trying to look more serious look pretty ridiculous to me. Jesse got that we weren't into being serious and never tried to force us into those types of poses, which was really nice. The quality of the photos is outstanding and we were able to get 4X6 proofs of every single photo from the day - they are gorgeous and reliving the day together through those photos has been so much fun. I cannot recommend Jesse highly enough and I would not hesitate to work with him again - I actually would not want to work with anyone but him again if I needed professional photos for any reason.

My wife and I could not have been happier with Jesse and his assistant Mike. We coincidentally met Jesse at a Starbucks in Rocky Hill while we were in the market for a wedding photographer. He immediately made us feel comfortable and made the entire process very easy. We HIGHLY recommend his services. A+ for service, quality, and experience.

Neither my wife or I are comfortable on the lens-side of a camera. But, with Jesse Anders of On Point Images, we felt completely comfortable and at ease on our wedding day. He is professional and friendly, with that gifted artistic eye that takes photography from bland, two-dimensional shots to breathtaking photos that truly capture the moments of our wedding. We searched for a long time for someone more than a photographer -- someone who was truly an artist. When we set up our first meeting with him, we knew that Jesse fit this requirement. What we didn't bargain for was a gentle and kind presence with whom we were honored to spend such a personal day. Worth every penny -- a gift you give to yourself! 5 months latter we continue to be 100% happy with our choice to hire Jesse. Just last night a friend said, "This is the photo every bride hopes for, its perfect." Its true, and we say that about every one of them.

Jesse responded to emails and phone calls in a very timely manner and was very organized about the details of our wedding. On the day of the wedding, Jesse was on time and very easy to work with. He also achieved the perfect balance of not overwhelming the bride/groom but knowing when to take the most important shots. We love our photos! There are so many great ones to choose from. His photography has a unique style and he is very passionate about what he does. We highly recommend Jesse!

My husband and I are thankful beyond words for having Jesse as our photographer on our wedding day!! We knew without a doubt that he would be our photographer on the first day that we met him. It was so great working with Jesse! Jesse shot our engagement shoot in June 2013 and wedding in May 2014. He captured so many special moments that we will cherish forever. He was even willing to work with our two pups for both the engagement shoot and morning of the wedding! Not enough can be said with how happy my husband and I are with the way our wedding photographs turned out!! The quality and creativity of the photos we received go far beyond what we ever expected when we were in the process of looking for what we wanted when choosing a photographer. Jesse and his second photographer, Alisha, were absolutely wonderful to work with the day of the wedding. They followed my request list for photos, and also threw in their own expertise to capture the wedding perfectly. My husband and I first met Jesse when he shot the wedding of my husband's best friend and his husband (the adorable guys in the grey suits) and my husband was impressed with his demeanor and professionalism and I was later impressed when I saw one of the most beautiful pictures that I'd ever seen of the two of us. We had a great meeting with Jesse and were happy with his pricing, the package he was offering and his policies. Further meetings (including an engagement session) were productive and lovely. Jesse is such a nice, kind, gentle person and exactly what I wanted in a photographer. I'm from Long Island and had seen a lot of really brash photographers and I did not want anyone barking at me on our wedding day. Jesse is the antithesis of that, which made our wedding day so lovely and low-stress. On our wedding day, Jesse was unobtrusive when necessary and did a great job working with (dealing with?) our very large, very loud and extremely unorganized families. Due to daylight and time issues, we ended up having to change a lot of our plans and if Jesse was upset with that, I never knew. And our pictures. Oh our pictures are so beautiful. They capture our excitement, our love, our joy and our celebration. It's amazing how much energy you can feel when you look at our pictures. My only singular regret is that we weren't able to take more pictures (I'd like to emphasize that this is on me and my husband and not on Jesse), because I want more! One of my bridesmaids was so impressed with Jesse that she and her fiancé have hired him for their wedding next year. I'm looking forward to seeing him again and seeing how beautiful their pictures are!

As soon as we met Jesse, we loved him. He is so easy to talk to, and makes you really comfortable when taking your photo. We like to ham it up, but sometimes you still feel like a big geek trying to figure out where your arms should go or if you should look directly at the camera, but Jesse is able to find just the right blend of direction and improvisation. He was super accommodating. When we proposed a fairly last minute4 engagement shoot, Jesse said why not and I think we all had an enjoyable afternoon adventure climbing on things to get the most interesting photo from the best angle. For the wedding, we had a lot of unknowns due to health issues in our family, and Jesse was able to roll with all of it and still make sure we got the shots we wanted. He and his assistant Joel kept us laughing all day. Taking photos was one of the most fun parts of a really fun day! We had fallen in love with the images on Jesse's site because of the color, the light and a softness that is kind of retro. After meeting him and seeing samples of his work, I felt our aesthetic and his were going to mesh quite well. He also gave us a super off-season discount that meant we could get the package we really wanted. Our engagement photos came out looking like the ones you see featured on blogs and in magazines. We should have the wedding photos any day now, and I'm confident they will be specatcular.
