I am a Southern California English professor and a published author. I love my career, but I also find joy in making people's wedding ceremony dreams come to life with the use of my language skills, creativity, and thoughtful, intricate planning. When not officiating ceremonies or grading essays, I can be found hiking local trails, reading, or enjoying a glass of Prosecco on my patio while listening to 90s alternative and grunge.

Emily is a Canadian-born interdisciplinary artist with a Master of Fine Arts in Studio Art from UC Irvine, and she teaches at multiple colleges across Southern California. Her artistic range spans painting, video, sculpture, stained glass, music, and installation. Her work, deeply rooted in craftsmanship and the handmade, reflects a thoughtful, expressive practice. Her latest creative endeavor is a musical collaboration with her fiancƩ, Brent, in their band called Chateau Noir. Whether officiating weddings, teaching drawing techniques, creating stunning visual art, or making music, Emily brings intention, heart, and a spark of originality to everything she does.

Christina braved some crazy winds to officiate a beautiful wedding for my wife and I's elopement in Joshua Tree National Park. We met with her and filled out a detailed questionnaire that allowed her to capture our story perfectly and turn it into a fun and romantic ceremony! I highly recommend working with her!

Christina with On Point Officiant was phenomenal as the officiant for our intimate elopement in the the California desert! As first-time travellers to Cali from Canada, Christina met with us on video ahead of time and offered helpful information about the area and possible vendors. She curated the most beautiful personalized and exceptionally-articulated vows for our day, formed from a detailed questionnaire both my husband and I filled in about a month beforehand. We could not have imagined a better delivery of some of the most important words we'll ever hear/speak. Thank you, Christina and On Point! Highly recommend.

We can't say enough good things about Christina from On Point Officiant. She helped make our special day perfect. After our first meeting with her I knew we found the right person. She asked us what we wanted in our ceremony and then sent us writing prompts for our vows and a questionnaire that let us tell her what we valued and what we wanted in our ceremony. She reviewed our vows and offered some editing. She also compared the length of our vows for us so we could see if they were similar without seeing what the other person wrote.
On the day of our wedding she was dressed very nicely. She was professional and composed. She knew exactly how to handle our marriage license. Our ceremony was nontraditional and we asked her to write in some things specific to us. The ceremony she wrote was perfect. It blew us away. She even incorporated a quote from a favorite song of ours.
We can't recommend Christina and On Point Officiant enough.

Christina was an absolute dream to work with!! We planned our wedding remotely and so we of course had some anxiety about how it would all finally come together on the big day. Christina was totally on top of things from the start, sharing different ideas and helping iterate on drafts of our ceremony over Zoom and email. We were so happy and thrilled that we found Christina! When my now-wife and I were looking for someone to officiate our sort-of-fast-tracked elopement, we were so relieved to have worked with Christina with on Point Officiant. Christina's process in getting to know who she's marrying is very welcoming and convenient (thanks, Zoom!). From video chats to questionnaires to emails and texts, Christina helped give us assurance and comfort in how we were going about everything given this is both of our first times getting married!
In the short 4 weeks or so of us planning our elopement and working with Christina, when we finally met in person on the day of our elopement, even our wedding photographer asked if we are all old friends and knew each other from before -- that's just how welcoming, warm, and loving Christina is, and her professionalism to top things off helped give us the elopement of our dreams.

Christina was so amazing at our wedding! From the very start, she was well organized, attentive, and so lovely to work with. She made us feel so comfortable from our initial conversations together all the way up until the wedding day! She was very accommodating to any requests we had for the day and wrote a beautiful speech for my husband and I! There arenāt enough words to describe how amazing it was to work with Christina for our wedding. Simple put, she was DELIGHTFUL. It felt like from day one talking to a friend Iād known forever. We were married in early December and searched quite a bit for someone to officiate our special day. Thatās when we came across Christina! We do not consider ourselves religious and were not looking for a very long ceremony. We knew that we wanted and that is exactly what we got when she officiated. Christina was the best to work with, she asked questions, scheduled a couple of calls and was prepared. The ceremony was perfect for us, she made it light, threw in a favorite musical quote of ours from a favorite band and we could not be happier. Christina was absolutely incredible. We held a last minute wedding so I literally Googled her two weeks before the day. I called her and she answered and immediately took the time to talk to my wife and I. She sent us a very detailed questionnaire which helped her get to know us. She went through each detail making sure we were happy with the whole ceremony. What she prepared for us was beyond our expectations. Christina was beyond amazing. We booked her three months before our event because our other officiant plans fell through. She was so responsive, listened attentively to our needs, and made me feel immediately comfortable over the phone. I interviewed other potential officiants but I could not get Christina out of my head. She very clearly told us exactly what to bring and handled the entire legal aspect of how to get married. She also wrote us a beautiful ceremony, was extremely willing to change it for the very few change requests we had, and sent us the ceremony script a week before the wedding. She walked such a wonderful fine line of making the ceremony feel like us while also including more traditional aspects to make our parents happy. My sister's husband told us it was the most beautiful ceremony he had ever attended. Honestly, Christina should charge way more than she is. Book her while you can!

When you're looking for someone to officiate your wedding you want someone who is going to feel like family, that's how we felt about Christina. I found Christina on Wedding Wire and from the first email she was professional, responsive, a pleasure to work with. Christina was very thorough getting to know us as a couple in order to create the most beautiful custom ceremony for us. We eloped so I had to enlist her help to zip me into my dress, and she was so sweet about it. I can't recommend her enough!

Christina is the BEST! āØWe absolutely felt a great connection with Christina. We took the time to search for multiple officiants, but she was the one who we felt most comfortable with. We found Christina through wedding wire for our Dec. 31st, 2021 wedding and I am so incredibly happy we did!
She was incredibly responsive from the get go and was a huge help. My husband and I eloped and Christina helped walk us through our need to knows for the ceremony. She helped us think through quotes and add ons to the ceremony (ex. El lazo) and really held our hands through the process. Sheās super fun and personable and really wanted to get to know us before performing the ceremony too to make it personalized to our situation.
