I have been in the hospitality business for over 8 years and weddings have become a main focus throughout my life. I've planned over forty-six weddings and been a bridesmaid more times than I have fingers to count! I'm so confident in my work, that I've even planned my own wedding. When it became clear our wedding wasn't going to look the way we originally envisioned because of Covid, she pivoted with us easily to contact our vendors and put everything on hold until 2021 for a reception. She helped us arrange an elopement so we could still get married on our original date. Recently, we decided to cancel the reception (at least for now!) and she rolled with that, too, immediately tackling the onerous task of cancelling with our vendors. I can't overstate how invaluable her services were to us. She was professional and warm and helped me stay sane when everything was so up in the air. Having Kylah in our corner was absolutely a great investment.

only delivered but she exceeded our expectations. She was always a phone call or text away and responded so promptly. It was like we were her only client. And then Covid-19 hit. All the wedding plans we had made were flipped upside down. Kylah was the rock that kept us sane and grounded. With her guidance and organization, we re-planned a wedding in 4 months. Her day-of professionalism and knowledge ensured that my daughter and I could focus on getting ready and spending time with the bridal party…knowing that Kylah had everything under control with the ceremony and the “elevated dining experience” (formerly known as the reception)! redible. I am a law student in Mississippi and my husband is an active duty Army officer who was in training for the entirety of the planning process. We truly did not have the time or energy to plan a wedding - Kylah took care of everything, I told her what I wanted and she got it done. Lots of open communication and I really appreciated that. The day of, I didn’t have to worry about a single thing, she took care of everything and ensured the day ran smoothly.
Let’s talk food and cake. We didn’t get to do a food or cake tasting before the wedding because of our schedules. Regardless, it was all amazing. Some of our guests commented, saying that it was the best wedding food they had ever had. It is really hard to eat on your wedding day, Kylah made us eat (very nicely) and even put some leftovers in our room for the end of the night.
All in all, it was a beautiful wedding and Messina Hoff was everything we dreamed of.

Kylah was the event planner for my daughter’s wedding in May. The wedding was in KY which was not local for Kylah. She had never set foot on the venue property until the day before the wedding yet, because of her careful planning, it went off flawlessly.
Regularly scheduled meeting and a working itinerary of the big day are both a part of Kylah’s process. Once vendors are secured, she takes the reins and ensures those vendors remain on track for their part of the event. She is professionally persistent if and when persistence is needed. On the day of the event, she is there from start to finish to oversee all activities. She has the ability to think quickly and improvise when needed.
Kylah takes pride in her work and it shows by the respect she has for her clients and their guests. She is a one of a kind. My daughter’s wedding was beautiful. I even relaxed and enjoyed myself. I could not have done this without Kylah. I would highly recommend her to anyone. She will be my first call should I ever have another large event!

to be able to have my dream September wedding; that is, until I met with Kylah. When I told her what I was wanting and was wondering if September was even possible, without hesitation, she assured me that she could make that happen! I was stunned, and a little skeptical, but with every passing meeting and decision made, I was becoming a believer. Her positive attitude and professionalism sold me and erased any fear I had of it all coming together.
From cake tasting to floral arrangements, to finding and securing a caterer and a DJ, Kylah made sure that this was the easiest and most care-free experience I could have hoped for. Everything was coming together and it was looking better than I could have imagined. When the big day did arrive, she was right by my side and helped to ensure that the venue was set up for the ceremony and then prepared for that same space to be turned into the reception area, she made sure that everyone from the bartender and caterers to the DJ had everything they needed and were set-up and ready to go. And she did it all with a smile and a calming presence and it made all the difference!
The dream wedding I had in my head more than came to life on my wedding day, and I know that none of it would have been possible without Kylah. Her guidance and assistance allowed me to focus on what mattered most - my friends and family celebrating with me and my now husband on our special day.
