On The Levee is the passion project of Michael Cohen, John Martin, and Jamie Martin. These old friends came together to create a unique and flexible event venue. Dallas born and raised, they found a wonderful spot in the heart of the city’s design district. Known for its chic, urban style, the area is home to art galleries, trendy restaurants, and furniture showrooms. This spacious venue features an exposed interior structure. Industrial poles and piping give the space its own unique character. Inside, the building is a blank canvas for couples to work with. White brick walls and concrete floors set the scene for a completely custom occasion. An open floor plan lets couples and their loved ones mingle easily. With over 12,000 square feet of space, there is room for up to 550 guests. Ceilings stretch upwards of 20 feet, keeping an open and airy atmosphere. Two large lounges let both sides of the wedding party get ready in their own personal space.
There is plenty of parking available right outside the venue. This makes it easily reachable for loved ones traveling by car. The team at On The Levee welcomes outside vendors. Couples can personalize their special day through food, decor, and everything in between. In this versatile space, the sky is the limit. Couples can let their imaginations roam free to design a truly remarkable wedding. On the day, the venue is reserved for a block of ten hours. This allows plenty of time for an unforgettable occasion. Professional attendants will be on site to address any queries as they arise. Upon request, the venue team supplies banquet furniture and mobile bars. They will also take care of the post-event cleanup. This lets the newlyweds start their lives together on a fresh slate. The staff wants to help make sure everything is just as couples pictured it. They offer early access to the building so preparations can get underway as soon as possible.

On The Levee was the perfect place for our wedding! Jaime, John, and Michael absolutely went ABOVE AND BEYOND. The space is so versatile, and super well maintained! We opted for the lighting and sound package and it transformed the space entirely! I also appreciated the attention to detail for little things like the blue-tooth speaker in our room, fun bathrooms (yes, this is a real thing) for our guests, and having someone there day and night to make sure the event went off without a hitch! 10/10 I would rent space from On The Levee again!

We absolutely loved working with John and On The Levee for our wedding ceremony and reception. Their venue was able to easily accommodate our guest count of 300 with lots of room to spare. The space itself is like a giant blank canvas that you can decorate up however you like, and we definitely appreciate John and his team with their help and communication.

We were the planners for our client's wedding on May 13th and had the pleasure of working at On the Levee! Not only is the venue itself stunning but so is their wonderful staff; excellent communication throughout the planning process! We definitely hope to work with them again!

Absolutely the best venue for a modern and elegant wedding! We loved working with the owners. They are the most responsive and easy to work with team ever! John and Michael went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was absolutely perfect. They will work with you on all your needs and can accommodate weddings and other events of all shapes and sizes!! My husband and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for the party venue of your dreams close to downtown Dallas!

On the Levee is an awesome venue with truly exceptional owners and staff! We worked mostly with John who was prompt and very helpful, but also took the time to get to know us personally! The groom and bridal suites were stunning and wonderful to get ready in day of. Having so much of the things we needed for the wedding done for us and included with the venue made everything smoother. John also recommended a list of vendors for us that was very helpful. Made our wedding day truly magical!

They were great to work with and super helpful.
With this venue in particular and any place you choose to get married, be sure everything is in the contract before you sign it. We talked with their staff about a few things multiple times, found out a week before our wedding that they would no longer honor one of these things. But it wasn’t in the contract so we had to scramble last minute which made things even more stressful for us.
For the most part they really made the process seamless and it was a beautiful space for everything you need!

10/10 recommend this venue!! Michael & the team were so helpful! After my original venue canceled on me 30 days before my wedding, Michael & the team were happy to step in and help us put together our dream wedding despite it all being so last minute. The team is so genuine & communication was never an issue. We are still so happy we decided to move forward with this venue!

We knew we LOVED this venue when we walked in! The owners, Michael, John and Jamie were so nice, professional and caring!!! They genuinely cared and ensured that my wedding day was stress free for me and my husband. We had looked at several venues and the cost was very reasonable. I wanted a venue where I didn't have to do anything but walk in and get ready for my big day and that's exactly what happened! On the Levee is a wonderful venue and I HIGHLY recommend them!! Luv you guys!!!

My husband and I had our wedding here during November of 2020 when there was so much uncertainty and concern due to Covid-19 and there still is as I type this... but my point is, all our guests said they felt so safe despite covid-19, because of the temperature check machine available through On the Levee, and because of the fresh air provided by the garage doors, the private and clean bathrooms, and how much square footage we had to spread out!
Also, the owners of On the Levee are so personable, understanding, and helpful. They helped make our wedding day so special all through the planning phase, pushed us along when we were behind schedule - all while making it less overwhelming, provided advice when we didn’t know where to turn.... AND most importantly they provided a strong team of support behind the scene the entire day and night of our wedding when we needed them the most! There is no fine print with these owners. They genuinely want you to enjoy their space. More event venues could learn a thing or two from On the Levee! Highly recommend!!! 👏🏼

On the Levee is such an amazing venue!! My wedding was on New Year's Eve and they accommodated us pretty last minute when my previous venue was not done with renovations in November. Everything happens for a reason and I can't thank them enough for being able to work with all my vendors. It's a very modern, industrial space right in the heart and design district of Dallas. John and Michael, and even John's wife were responsive and dedicated to making us happy. The space was large and was able to hold the 160-170 people that attended our wedding, with social distancing, and with ZERO cases of Covid. Bridal and groom suites were beautiful with it's modern artwork and decor. Lighting was also ON POINT to set the ambiance.

I can't say enough about On the Levee. The owners are phenomenal and great to work. They were really down to earth and very sincere people who made it a mission to make the planning and wedding day amazing. The space is beautiful, spacious and flexible to create the wedding of your dreams. The dressing rooms are beautiful and were a hit for both of us and the wedding party. Everything was just seamless and beautiful..so glad we made the decision to use On the Levee. Highly recommend . You will not regret it.

On the Levee made all my wedding dreams come true, despite being in the middle of a pandemic! John, Michael, and Jamie were so accommodating and dedicated to making my vision come to life. They were easy to communicate with and allowed us to come see the venue several times to better envision the space. Not to mention, the venue itself is beautiful and can be transformed into anything you want! Highly recommend having your wedding/event here!!

I cannot say enough about not only the venue itself but the owners. John and Michael are focused on making this venue a one stop shop and focused on YOU! They have great connections and if they don’t have what you need, they’ll find it for you! We are so fortunate to have found this gem! This should be your first stop when searching for venues! The detail and thought put into the design of the venue is evident around every corner, you’ll be blown away! Thank you John and Michael! Can’t wait for October!
