We are the Midwest's premier event band that can create a customized sound just for your event. For over 15 years, we've made it a priority to sit down with each of our clients & map out exactly how we can help your event be the success of the year. On The One's team boasts world class MCs that can guide your event from the door to the dance floor, so that all of your event's transitions are smooth and seamless. On The One is a crew of full time musicians who love our craft, but love entertaining our audience even more.

On The One is absolutely amazing! We could not be happier that they played at our wedding. Our guests were raving about how talented and fun they were. The band brought so much energy and kept the dance floor packed until the end of the night. Their presence and overall vibe also worked perfectly in our venue, the Kemper Museum — we wanted an intimate yet modern feel, and On The One fit that bill seemingly effortlessly.
Leigh is so lovely and incredible to work with, not to mention has a fantastic voice. She has a warm and welcoming presence that immediately makes everyone feel good once she takes the mic.
One additional note, our wedding coordinator (Lynsey at Soirée Event Designs) remarked that she too was really impressed with On The One as a result of their energy and talent as well as being extremely organized and coordinated during all stages from planning to execution.

We had a ball at our reception, thanks to On The One! They performed our first dance song, and it was such a magical moment. After that, our reception was a non-stop dance party! People were taking off their shoes just to dance more! Leigh worked to make sure our day was perfect, and we couldn't be happier!

SO MUCH FUN! Leigh was so easy to communicate with, and took care of everything we could ask for. The variety of music was awesome, and they kept the party going all night long! Best band ever!

We took a chance on a new band, and we are so glad we did. They made communication super simple and professional, which took a lot of stress off of us. We gave them a no-playlist, and they took care of the rest based off our overall preferences. The dance floor stayed full for the entire three hours, and we had such an amazing time with Leigh and Lee. Couldn't have asked for a better band, especially for the price. Highly recommend this group.

Kept the dancefloor PACKED ALL NIGHT LONG. They had the perfect mix for my wedding, even my country music loving dad got to hear some of his favorites! We had such a great time, thank you so much for making our night so perfect! People are still talking about it!

Professionals from beginning to end. On The One answered all of our questions, and since planning a wedding isn't something we've done before, they even made some really great suggestions that kept our reception running smoothly. We had a blast at our party, and hope to see them live again soon!

Recommend Recommend Recommend! This band definitely knew how to get and keep the party started I had to go find out who they were. So full of energy and such a talented group of people. I hope to book them for my wedding or attend another that they will be at!

This was my fourth wedding in two months, and I was honestly getting tired of them, but this band KILLED it! The bride would try to get away from the dance floor to socialize, but she kept running back out there to dance. Whenever I get married I'll be calling this band!

Wow- I cannot recommend this band enough. Good music was a priority for our wedding and these guys really delivered! Their set list made everyone happy and kept the energy on the dance floor high with a good variety of songs. I’ve been to so many weddings with cheesy DJs that I wished would stop talking. Leigh was perfect with how much she talked- enough but not too much and always sincere. Thanks so much for making our reception the best it could be!

OMG! I heard of this band from a friend of mine. I owe her a gift! We booked a jazz trio for the cocktail hour and they kept the party going for the reception. I really loved dealing with Leigh and Pat. They were very professional and I have been spreading the word to all of my friends and family.

They MADE the reception! Everything went so smoothly from start to finish. The music was fun and fresh! We had an absolute ball! Leigh was sangin...and I do mean sangin! I was thinking of getting a DJ at first. I'm glad I didn't. It was the best wedding I ever had LOL!

This band is so dope! They played all the hits! My voice is so hoarse from singing along. There selections were on point and we danced the night away! I was overwhelmed by all of the planning my wedding and their process was a breath of fresh air. Leigh and Pat were so nice and walked me through everything.

Exceptional band. On the One has presented themselves as the go to for all occasions. Seen them several times out at their engagements and when it was time to look for bands for my friends special day, this was the top one. They sound amazing, they are engaging, everyone loved them, singing and dancing the entire night. Will book again for future events.
