Fox Hopyard was the perfect venue for both our rehearsal dinner and wedding, and we truly couldn’t have been happier with our experience. The property is absolutely beautiful, elegant, scenic, and exactly the atmosphere we were hoping for throughout our wedding weekend.
We also had our rehearsal dinner there the night before, and it was just as wonderful. Everything was set up perfectly, the service was great, and it was such a relaxed, special way to kick off the weekend surrounded by our favorite people.
A huge thank you to Melanie, our events coordinator, who was amazing from start to finish. She was so organized, responsive, and calm throughout the entire planning process, and she made everything perfect. She truly went above and beyond to make sure every detail was handled. On both days, the Fox Hopyard team was incredible. Everything ran smoothly, the staff was kind and attentive, and we felt completely taken care of the entire time.

iews. Melanie and everyone on staff were very welcoming when we came for a tour and made sure to answer our questions and provide thorough details on their packages. Unlike lots of venues that we went to, Fox Hopyard did not have tons of hidden fees and charges. They had straight forward packages that were inclusive but still allowed you to customize and add your personal touches. The venue itself is stunning, with gorgeous views of the golf course and surrounding woods, a beautifully updated clubhouse for dining, and a romantic pavilion for dancing. We knew from that first tour that it was the perfect spot for us.
Throughout the planning process, Melanie was responsive and organized. She checked in with us regularly to make sure that things were falling into place, and was always willing to answer our questions or give her opinion. She stayed on top of emails and calls and all of the details that came from them. Our final meetings before the wedding were stress free because Melanie had everything organized and accounted for. She coordinated seamlessly with all of our vendors and made sure that both outside vendors and her team were on the same page.
The venue was set perfectly for the day of. All of our details and personalizations were set just how we had envisioned making it feel even more special for us. The entire day went off seamlessly thanks to Melanie and the staff. They went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable and had everything that we might need. Everyone on staff was so nice and wonderful to talk to. Melanie kept everything running according to our timeline and checked in with us regularly as we transitioned through the events of the evening. All of the food and drinks were delicious and they catered to food allergies and preferences perfectly. Some of the hardest decisions we had to make were which passed appetizers to select from their menu, because everything was so darn good!
From start to finish our wedding day was a dream, and we could not have done it without Melanie and the team at Fox Hopyard. We feel so lucky to have found such a beautiful site and have it run by the most kind, professional people. We could not recommend this venue highly enough to anyone who is getting married.

views at the golf course are absolutely stunning and made for beautiful photos. We truly felt like we were on a vacation as soon as we set foot on the property. There were many options when it came to decor, food, and locations for the wedding and Melanie made everything super easy. Not only was she super responsive to emails, but she was very organized and made me think of things that I had overlooked. Throughout our big day she made sure everyone was in the right place at the right time and that we all had everything that we needed. If I were to do this all over again I wouldn’t change a single thing about our wedding and I owe its perfection to the staff at OTR. I would highly recommend using them as a venue.

owed us to have our ceremony in the Pavilion, cocktail hour on the deck, dinner inside the restaurant and then get the party going back in the Pavilion. With the buyout, you have various options for what is located where, but we felt our set up was 10/10. Our guests really loved the flow and the different locations for everything. From the first time we met Melanie, she made planning seem so seamless & effortless in the best way possible. Melanie and her team are very flexible and helped bring our vision to life, even better than we imagined it! The food was amazing! Our guests were so impressed with the food and level of service all night. Melanie and her team treated not only treated us (bride & groom) like royalty, but our guests as well. OTR also offers so many great add-on’s: We chose to do the ceremony package, which meant they took care of the decor for the aisle & the arbor. We also had welcome champagne for our guests upon arriving at our ceremony. We even added on a French fry station as a late night snack (BIG hit with the guests). Everything was truly super customizable and to be honest, we felt the pricing was extremely reasonable (big plus)! I could go on and on, but the biggest takeaway is that OTR is the most perfect venue for a wedding, and we would recommend this venue to everyone and anyone. Melanie and her team are impressive beyond belief. We cannot thank her and her team enough for this ensuring our day went smoothly and perfectly.

She and her staff are very detail oriented, kind, and friendly. I have very high expectations at baseline, and my expectations were exceeded - every detail that we requested was fulfilled and then some. Every guest absolutely raved about the food, and both myself and my husband finished our plates, too good to pass up. As someone with a life threatening food allergy (who hosted guests with many sensitivities/allergies), I felt safe, comforted, and listened to. Melanie was so responsive to any email or phone call and so kind throughout the entirety of planning. On our wedding day, the professionalism and care that Melanie and her staff had shown us, our guests, and to the details of our day truly allowed us to be 100% present. We didn't have to think about setting up, the transitions between events, taking the decorations down, etc.- everything, and truly everything, was taken care of (and was done extremely well). All we had to do was enjoy! Every part of our day came together so seamlessly, and our guests loved the layout and locations of events. We had our ceremony on the patio, cocktail hour on the deck/side dining area, and the dinner and the reception under the pavilion! Moving to different locations added an exciting element for our guests!
Besides the amazing staff, OTR offers the most amazing food (people are STILL telling us how incredible the entrees and appetizers were). The menu was so customizable and the kitchen staff were very accommodating with any dietary restrictions. There were so many add-ons to ensure that your day is tailored to you and the people you love! Our group loved having the option to go to the fire pit throughout the night, and the bridal suite with the balcony was a dream!
We were so comfortable, confident, and excited to put our trust into Melanie and her team- we would do it a million times over again. If you are considering booking OTR, you will not regret it!!

Melanie Glanert is the event manager and she is a superstar. Her kindness, positive energy and natural calm vision brought a special touch to her professionalism as she worked with us for a year to plan every important step on our wedding day. From menu and drinks selection, decor, ceremony, music, bridal suite and rehearsal to special details that only an expert would anticipate, she communicated with us regularly and promptly and guided us through what seemed like a daunting to-do list faced by all couples. And she made it all so easy with her impeccable organization and magical smile.
Melanie and the chefs, bartenders and serving/set-up staff treated us with TLC on our wedding day. And they quietly helped us through the day’s events and special moments with such easy style and grace… we felt like family at Fox Hopyard.
Hors d’oeuvres and cocktail hour were spectacular in presentation, service and ambience. And the food, including dinner and dessert, was delicious, exceeding our expectations. Our guests are still raving about everything!
We highly recommend Fox Hopyard as a unique and elegant wedding venue with experienced event and catering staff who provide exceptional meals, libation and service for a reasonable price. And led by Melanie, whose expertise is beyond measure, you will be thrilled with the outcome of all your plans and vision.

plan for. When we last minute added a hot pretzel station for the end of the night, she thoughtfully had the staff put out to-go containers for each guest. She did the same for cupcakes we had for dessert, without us asking (honestly I never would have thought to even ask for this)!. When it got chilly during dinner before dancing started, the team brought out heaters for the guests, when the shuttle bus wouldn't drive up the hill to pick everyone up she coordinated several golf carts to drive guests down to the bus (while I stood there in a panic).
The staff set up our table decor fantastically, they were so attentive to myself and my husband throughout the day. We had drinks waiting for us after we walked up the aisle when the ceremony ended. We had a platter of appetizers brought directly to us during cocktail hour. They accommodated requests from family members and bridal party members that were not planned for and they were so gracious about it when they easily could have said no. I would recommend everyone who wants to have a midsize wedding check out OTR! The value for the cost is outstanding and Melanie is truly a magician. I can not recommend OTR enough!

ow what a wedding entailed. Let me tell you, you will be blown away! From the beginning Melanie answered all of my questions and changed my plans (per my request) probably no less than 50 times. Her staff is top notch and super attentive. Any time I looked like I needed help they were always asking me what I needed help with. Even if it was just finding an area for fresh air. Our day started at OTR at 9am in the bridal suite and needed at 9:30 pm. The food was amazing and our guests LOVED the open bar, s’mores, and late night snacks (buff chicken dip and pretzels). If you want attentive staff, a beautiful area and a day of wedding planner (who truly will email you back at all hours of the day) this is your place! Thank you Melanie and staff!

This easily transitioned everyone to the side patio for the cocktail hour and then had everyone under the large pavilion outside for the reception. It was decorated so well and everything was setup to be so convenient. Melanie (Mel) and her staff we absolutely superb. She was so helpful during the planning process and helped keep everything organized. They were also so flexible which was so comforting! The food was absolutely amazing, everyone commented on how much they loved the food. The filet was to die for and the salmon was delicious. The bridal suite was really big and so convenient for getting ready, it was also upstairs in the clubhouse so a good place to get away for a minute if needed. Mel and her team had everything so well managed and thought out the day of that it was like a breeze. She just kind of coordinated everyone on where to go and when to do everything without being in the middle of everything, it was the perfect touch. We did a total buy out of the restaurant for the day ( gave us lots of flexibility with the event space and privacy) We held our ceremony on the stone patio, cocktail hour under the pavilion, our plated dinner was served inside the restaurant, and the reception was held back out on under the pavilion- where we danced the night away. With all the moving of the event I was nervous about it transitioning seamlessly (waste of time – it all went perfectly) The food was spectacular- we are still receiving complement a month later about how delicious everything was! Kudos to the Chef! Above all else I have to say that the staff at OTRR was top notch- they were all so much fun to work with! The night of the wedding felt like everyone was family and friends which is all you can ask for on you wedding day! Coarsy was our main bartender for the evening and WOW she was great! always accommodating of my emails, even when I accidentally emailed her on her days off a few times. The bridal suite was perfect for everything, and we were able to order food to be brought up for lunch. The ceremony space was fantastic, and has the added bonus of a roof in case it had rained. The photo locations all over are gorgeous, and my photographer was really pleased with all the options. Our reception was great, all the guests loved the space. We added bistro lights and the fire pit and both were perfect. The food was also incredible! We knew it would be good after our tasting, but so many of our guests came up to tell us it was some of the best wedding food they had ever had, which is hard to get perfect when you're serving 100 people at once. I would highly recommend On the Rocks for weddings my size, 75-115 people.

We managed to have an 'outdoor wedding' in February without being cold at all! -- we had tent flaps with windows put up around the pavilion and had our ceremony overlooking the gorgeous landscape. Plenty of heaters, worked amazingly!
The catering via On The Rocks was really well done, too. You can choose between plated entrees or self serve manned stations. We did the stations and it was great, it allowed mingling and energized the mood, and everyone got to pick something they actually liked to eat!
Overall, I have to say I can't recommend the venue enough! Our day was more than everything I dreamed it could be and we truly couldn't be happier. Thank you guys so much, and I hope all of the future couples will love it as much as we did.

eautiful views overlooking the golf course and a large gazebo to hold dinner and dancing in! The gazebo is a nice way to have an outdoor wedding and not have to worry about the weather! Melanie spent almost 2 hours with us the first time we visited explaining everything to us and we worked with Kristi and Melanie throughout the planning process to make our day perfect.
We also had our rehearsal dinner there the night before which was very convenient and the food was great!

as amazing and everyone raved about how great it was. I loved being able to drop off our decorations a few days before the wedding and not having to worry about a thing. She answered any of my questions quickly and thoroughly. My girls loved the mimosas while getting ready in and the bridal suite is perfect for your whole Bridal party and taking photos. Everything went seamless and on time. We cannot say enough great things about Kristi, Mel, chef and their team.
We also had our rehearsal dinner there too which was also delicious and went great too!
On the Rocks is the perfect location for any wedding or special event and you can have the peace of mind knowing everything will be taken care of!
