I could not have asked for a better experience from On the Spot Catering out of Plainfield, CT. From beginning, middle to end, Stacy, John and their staff were wonderful to work with. They answered all of my questions in a timely manner, made me feel at ease through the whole process and really worked with us to understand our vision and execute it. They are so much more than a catering business and we’re involved in many aspects of making our wedding amazing. They truly went above and beyond and blew away my expectations. From the planning perspective as well, I don’t know what I would have done with out Stacy. The food was so good! I loved working with Stacy and the On the Spot crew. The staff who worked our wedding were extremely friendly and helpful to our guests. Our guests were raving about the food so my so that a family member asked to speak to Chef directly. It seriously was amazing. Stacy was wonderful to work with and so helpful in the planning process. I didn’t have to worry about a thing. I would recommend On the Spot to anyone looking for seamless professional service and incredible food.

On The Spot Catering!!! Probably the best catering company I have ever had experience with. The whole team is absolutely wonderful and truly enjoy their jobs. They do everything from wedding planning, to designing floor plans, to setting up and breaking down decorations and flowers, and of course making incredible food! I became great friends with the wedding planner! It was so wonderful knowing that this company handled everything and left myself with minimal to no stress! They were even kind enough to cook my little flower girl a side of noodles and butter for her dinner! Best money I ever spent on my wedding!

We used On The Stop Catering for our wedding this past June and were incredibly pleased with their work. Chef John is incredibly kindhearted, and worked to make our vision come alive, while playing to his own strengths in the kitchen. Stacy was wonderful as our planner, and executed all details with the ease due to her extensive experience. We were married at a venue that did not have a kitchen, so their beautiful kitchen trailer was perfect for our event space. We also found their pricing to be incredibly reasonable. Would highly recommend.

We had a BBQ buffet and got rave reviews from our guests. I particularly liked the pulled pork, brisket, and truffle Mac and cheese. Their pastry chef also did our cake which was incredible in taste and look! Stacy who runs the front of the house is kind and patient. She was attentive and helped support me through the planning process as well. The food was excellent, the bar set up was adorable and the service was great. We highly recommend this vendor for your wedding needs!

Choosing On the Spot Catering was the best decision we ever made throughout our wedding planning. The moment you meet Stacy and Chef John, their kind hearts and personable nature make you feel as though you are family too! Stacy was absolutely incredible at planning, coordinating, and communicating throughout the whole wedding process. As a result, we never felt stressed, and she always kept our interests at heart. Stacy worked tirelessly to make sure we knew everything would be taken care of and to coordinate the itinerary of the wedding with all other vendors. Chef John is extremely talented and created a variety of dishes that we fell in love with immediately, and that our guests raved about. Not only are Stacy and Chef John representative of the excellent service On the Spot Catering provides, their catering staff and bartenders were hard-working and went above and beyond to make our guests feel comfortable. Saying this family business is talented, professional, and absolutely wonderful to work with seems like a huge understatement. My husband and I cannot recommend them enough!

On the Spot was recommended by a family friend and we are BEYOND happy we went with Stacy , John and their crew. We knew we were in good hands the moment we walked out of the tasting. Stacy took care of every detail with professionalism and expertise. Its been 2 weeks now and we are still having guests compliment the food and atmosphere. Food was absolutely delicious, not one complaint but constant raving and questions on how we found On the Spot. You will love everything on their menu, we all did. The layouts, tables, decorations, just everything, PERFECT !!!!. When we showed up and I had seen the set up for the first time about an hour prior to guests arriving, I was ecstatic knowing that Stacy had captured my vision and executed it perfectly. Absolutely professional and tasteful and the best word to describe-AWESOME! Stacy was also a pleasure to work with as we laughed at many things and she just had a way to put our minds at ease. We used On The Spot Catering for our September wedding at Allen Hill and the entire experience from start to end was great. The whole On the Spot crew is so amazing! Chef John and Stacy helped us create a special menu full of our favorite foods. The Southwest table was a big hit! The cake was beautiful and delicious too. They handled all linen and dish rentals, making the planning so simple for us. Stacy and the crew were a huge help the day of the wedding - they set up all the decorations and tables and the barn looked amazing! Stacy was a great day of coordinator. She kept everything on schedule and was a huge help. The team really made our wedding very special and they all were so nice to work with. We highly recommend On The Spot Catering!

AMAZING! The food was fantastic and all of my guests raved about the food and the service of On The Spot for weeks! Stacy was great to work with and transformed my ideas into reality working as my day of coordinator. On The Spot does their absolute best to give you the perfect day. I didn't have to worry about a single thing. And their prices are great! I will definitely be booking them in the future for other catered events.

Stacy, John, Pat and the entire crew at On the Spot Catering made our day perfect in every way. From the moment we met with John and Stacy for a consult, I knew they were exactly the right fit for our "come for a picnic stay for a wedding" vibe. Their first question ... Do you have any special dishes your families serve when you gather together? I was sold! Our guests cannot stop raving about the food ... freshly prepared right on site day of! From the Mediterranean table, to the stuffed cucumbers to the marinated flank steak ... did I mention the Polenta was a HUGE hit! ... every one was full and happy. We didn't want a cake, so we went with a variety of small pies -- apple, chocolate, key lime (THE FAN FAVORITE!!!) -- and homemade gelato. But it wasn't just the food. Stacy is a master event coordinator and at every turn anticipated our needs. She and her team had a bunch of mason jars, some fresh flowers and peacock feathers and some linens ... and very little direction (I have no head for details). And when I walked into the barn and saw the tables and the decor, I cried with joy. It was everything I hoped for and more. You will not regret working with this team. And don't be surprised if they make you feel like family from day one!
