am obsessed with all three of the styles she took me through! On top of that, she really helped me envision how the full look would come together on the big day - i.e. once we have the appropriate hair extensions, how we’ll ensure the look will last all day long, etc. She consulted me on what I should be doing for my hair between now and then (cuts, color) to ensure the best possible outcome on my wedding day, which is something that has been lacking for me in other trials. The experience was consultative and thorough - and on top of that, super fun!!! I highly, highly recommend doing a trial with Stacey and the Once Upon A Bride team. Next up, the wedding day!

morning of my wedding. Stacey (hair), Gaby (makeup), and team, all were amazing with the best energy, which put my at ease and made me relax while leading up to the hours before the ceremony. My hair was down, wavy, effortless, and not overdone which is exactly what I wanted (In Stacey’s words “runway”) while Gaby’s make up made me feel gorgeous while still looking like myself. Lots of love to Stacey and her team, you all were amazing and I could not have picked better!

I don't wear a ton of makeup and I was nervous for the reveal that I wouldn't recognize myself. I wanted a fresh, glowing warm look and Irene did an amazing job. I felt like me - just much better. I ended up booking them to do my entire bridal party as well and while everyone had such different hair and makeup looks they did them all with ease. At one point I caught Stacey doing my aunts hair - we had not booked Stacey for this and we weren't paying for it - she just did it because she wanted EVERYONE at my wedding to look their best. I couldn't believe how thoughtful that was. Stacey and her team made my wedding day EASY & BEAUTIFUL. What more could a bride ask for?

was the reason I reached out to begin with. I am biracial and her account was one of the few that felt inclusive to me. I brought in a picture of Meghan Markle with her hair down and asked her to create the same look and she did it effortlessly. We didn't even need to try any other styles. Stacey just NAILED IT. Same with Irene, who did my makeup. I don't wear a ton of makeup as is, so I wanted to feel like me on my wedding day. Irene brought out the best and made me have that little extra sparkle needed. I ended up wearing more than I even planned because she does it so well it still felt natural. Beyond the beautiful looks they created, Stacey and Irene were SO FUN to be around. I ended up booking them and they did my entire bridal party as well. Everyone looked the best I'd ever seen them. We each had very different looks for our hair, but they all were perfectly executed without fuss. At one point - Stacey even began doing touch ups to family members who we didn't book her for. She's just that kind of person. She wanted EVERYONE to look their best on my day. Stacey and Irene just made my wedding day EASY & BEAUTIFUL. What else could a bride want?

ll did such beautiful work, AND they made what could have been a crazy morning feel relaxing and fun. I have been in many weddings in the past where we always seem to be rushing when the hair and makeup is running behind. Not only did OUAB finish on time, but we were done early and had some lovely extra time to enjoy together as a bridal party and leisurely get ready before the first look. I can get a bit nervous having my hair and makeup done, but Stacey and Daniella made me feel so beautiful and my husband thought it was perfect as well. My wedding day was romantic and snowy so I couldn’t resist going outside for some photos. I know Stacey was worried, but my hair and makeup still held up wonderfully! From hair trials at Loft 26 to morning of the wedding, Stacey and her top-notch team handled 2 moms, 5 bridesmaids and the bride with absolute personal attention to each of us, arriving on time with smiles and calm, listening to our ideas, offering suggestions, making all of us gorgeous! And the bride.....Stacey made her look more radiant than I've ever seen my daughter look. I can't rave enough. An absolute gem is Stacey and her team!

he was so great that I ended up asking her to cut my hair and now will likely be a loyal customer of her salon! She also did my hair for my rehearsal dinner and it looked better than I ever thought my hair could look! On the day of the wedding, Rita did my hair and Karen did my makeup and everything looked beautiful--and held up remarkably well under hundred degree heat and humidity. I don't usually wear a lot of makeup and Karen was so great about working with me to get a look that made me feel comfortable and like myself. Everyone was super prepared and super professional and lovely--which is important since they were a big part of the getting ready process, which can be an emotional/stressful part of the day. I highly recommend Once Upon a Bride to anyone--no matter what look you are going for, they will help you get there!

I don't usually wear a ton of makeup, so I wanted a look that wasn't too dramatic but that would still look great in photos. Sofia listened carefully to what I wanted and made sure that my makeup looked perfect and that I was 100% happy. We were all very impressed with Sofia and Gaby and would highly recommend them.

I didn't really decide if I wanted to wear it up or down. Emily was great, though! I showed her a picture, and it was identical. She is also the sweetest - me and all my girls felt so comfortable. Stacey was also very helpful in assisting with questions and setting up appointments with Loren for color and Emily for haircuts/touch-ups leading up to my wedding. My extensions were two-toned and matched my hair PERFECTLY - which is hard to do with balayage. Emily created such a romantic, elegant hairstyle for my wedding day - I wouldn't have changed a thing. OUAB is definitely top-notch when it comes to professionalism and service - highly highly recommend!

Stacey is pricey, yes. However, she knows what she is doing, you won't waste your time at multiple trials that add up to lots of money, and you will not need to worry about how you look. She knows hair and she knows what works for you.

t to have around the morning of. The make-up artist was really great, but the hair was sort of so-so. Not bad, but just didn't have the finish it would have had in a salon. Also, we were fairly rushed and could have used another person. It's also quite pricey- $375 for bride's hair and $375 for bride's make up (for the most junior level people they have), and then $150 for each bridesmaids' make-up. All in all, I would recommend that you get everything done at the salon and then if you want to be super extravagant have one of the Once Upon a Bride's people come and do touch ups throught the night.
