She is as hands-on or hands-off as you need her to be, flexibly taking your lead as the client and diplomatically navigating the many decisions and stakeholders that are inevitably involved in wedding planning. Marissa was vital in recommending and managing our vendors including rentals, music, hotel blocks, guest transportation, welcome party, hair/makeup, and more. This allowed us to focus on the vendors that we cared most about (photos and catering). Marissa really shines during the chaotic lead-up to the wedding date. She created a timeline and schedule for the big day, liaised with each of our vendors, and ensured that everyone was where they needed to be. We were free to relax and enjoy knowing that all of the logistics were in good hands. We would recommend Marissa to any couple who needs support wedding planning or for week/day-of coordination. She's the best and we can't thank her enough!

She gave me to opportunity to either talk to the other vendors myself to save a little bit from her or to do it on my own. She provided me with all of the questions to ask and would check in with me pretty often to make sure things were going smoothly. Marissa came by to chat with me at the rehearsal, I had been a bit stressed out and overwhelmed that day. As soon as I started talking to Marissa I felt at ease and was able to relax that night and leading into the next day. The day of the wedding, she was such an important addition, I was blown away by her hard work and commitment to making sure we were able to relax and everything was the way that we wanted it to be. She worked with all the other vendors and made sure everything went smoothly and as planned. Marissa is very structured and talented, she is the right type of person to have on your side when you are trying to plan a larger event. I would recommend Marissa a million times over!!!

e Upon A Time Events. You won't regret it! She's the best! Marissa coordinated/planned my daughter's (and now son-in-law's) wedding and she was absolutely amazing from start to finish. We all loved working with her. She took all the stress out of the planning and made the process an absolute pleasure. She was a joy to work with & the wedding could not have been better. The best decision we made was to work with Marissa!
