Once Upon A Time Photo & Film

We hired Once Upon A Time Films to do videography at our wedding in March, and I could not be any happier with them!! Right from the initial outreach, Natalie was communicative, prompt and proactive. The team onsite at our wedding was professional, low-key (I didn't even notice they were there half the time!), made us feel comfortable, and worked well with our photographer to coordinate shots and not step over each other. We recently got our videos back and I am floored at what a great job they did! They provided us with our main highlight video, footage of the speeches and dances, the full ceremony, and a teaser film that we can use to show friends/family (or post on social media) that may not want to watch the full highlight film. The quality and flow of the videos is perfect!! I didn't give them much to work with (I'm not really knowledgeable on videos, and I didn't have strong preferences about style etc.) so many of the stylistic choices were theirs, and I am thrilled with them. Once Upon A Films did an incredible job and was an incredible value cost-wise in my opinion! I will be recommending them to any friends getting married in the future. Thank you all so much!!!

We are so happy we chose Once Upon A Time Photo & Film to do the videography for our wedding! The process was very simple and stress free. Natalie was easy to talk to and answered all of our questions. We enjoyed working with our videographer Jason. He did an amazing job and added little creative touches during filming that made our Highlight video unique and so special. I honestly can’t stop watching it. The film just puts you right back in that moment. Everything was very well done, and our families have shared the video with everyone they know. We couldn’t have had a better experience. We chose the Happily Ever After package because it included everything we were looking for, including an engagement photo session. We worked with the same photographer (Katherine) for the engagement shoot, and on the day of the wedding along with a team of others. Katherine took time to get to know us for sure, and was so kind and sensitive to personal hang ups like what side I liked to be photographed from or what lighting looked best. Everyone we worked with from Once Upon a Time on the day of our wedding was very professional, and made us feel so comfortable and happy on our wedding day. We received a bunch of beautiful photos and multiple films. All of the photos and films that we received couldn’t have been a more perfect and personalized picture of how truly special and beautiful that day was to us.

They were very easy to work with and were always very prompt when responding to emails. We absolutely love our wedding videos and received them much quicker than we anticipated. We hired Once Upon A Time for our wedding and we chose the Happily Ever After package. Starting from the first contact, talking to Natalie, everything was perfect and we knew we made the right choice by going with them. On the day of the wedding the photographers and videographers were amazing. When we received the results it was pure joy with all the happy tears being able to relive those magical moments. The editing was incredible and we are so happy we can live the best day of our life over and over again. We would absolutely recommend Once Upon A Time and will tell it to all of our friends!!

We are obsessed with our wedding video!!! They make it so easy to think about what you want in your video and it’s as simple as filling out a google form!! They were so great to work with!

Once upon a time was absolutely the best decision we made in planning our wedding. Natalie was great to work with leading up to our big day, and the two videographers we had were hilarious and easy to work with as well. We are so grateful to them because the videos they captured showed us a whole other side of our wedding day that we missed being caught up in the moment! So many details would have been forgotten without them. I chose to let Natalie do her thing for our highlight video and the music she chose was absolutely perfect for us. We love our highlight video and still watch it often even a year later. It perfectly captured our big day. We can’t recommend them highly enough!!

Natalie and her team were amazing! Natalie was very communicative and intentional with our preferences and made the entire process so easy. The two videographers that filmed on our wedding day were so respectful and professional, made us feel so comfortable and caught such special moments. The highlight video is absolutely incredible and such a beautiful way to remember the day (and for us to see some moments we didn’t even know happened!). Couldn’t be more pleased and grateful.

We originally didn't plan on having a videographer at our wedding, but so glad we decided to book Natalie and her team! We will definitely cherish our wedding film for a lifetime. Special thanks to David, our videographer, who was such a trooper for filming many parts of our wedding in the rain! He worked well with my photographer, had a great attitude, and went above and beyond for us. Would give him more than 5 stars if I could! I think the only feedback I have is that it would have been nice to know ahead of time that the vows would be shorten and pieced together for the voiceover. It wasn't too big of a deal for us, but just wanted to put it out there since I know that many of us spend a lot of time and effort writing those vows. Natalie does give you the option to have one re-edit, so you do have a say on what parts of your vows you want to include in your highlight film. You also get an unedited film of your whole ceremony, so the complete vows will be captured there.

Once Upon a Time were great! They got so many cute shots, and even somehow convinced me and my husband to dance like nobody was watching. I wanted a fairytale video, and I got it. The videographers were also just incredibly nice and did their best to get all the shots they could in the time we had. It took a reasonable amount of time to get the videos back too! Very professional, great price and for great quality!

David was great! He was punctual and captured some of the best moments from our wedding.

Excellent pictures and videography!! The videos were edited perfectly. Photos were unique and captured all the emotions of our big day. Katie, Sadie, Alex and Luis were fun and energetic and great to work with! They captured all the special moments at our wedding! Natalie was very responsive to emails and texts when we had any questions. She made the whole pre/post event planning easy. Highly recommend them for any event!

I used Once Upon a Time for my rehearsal dinner speeches and for my wedding day videography. I am absolutely IN LOVE with my videos! They are fun, beautifully done, and the whole family has been watching them on repeat! Natalie was great to work with and I would recommend Once Upon a Time to everyone!

Natalie and team captured the day exactly as I asked - which was to focus a lot on our guests and the party and not the typical romantic fluffy stuff. I LOVED IT and so did our parents and guests. Sunny and his team blew us away with our wedding videography. I always knew that we wanted a videographer for our wedding, so when we found Sunny, we were thrilled. Not only was the final product absolutely amazing, but his demeanor on our wedding day was perfect. He was not in our faces, yet he got all of the shots we could have wanted. He wasn’t overly aggressive, but he made sure to give us guidance so that he could get all the shots that he knew we wanted in our wedding video. Sunny is simply the best. I could go on and on about all the wonderful things he did for our wedding--- Not only does he have the best personality, he radiated such positive vibes during the entire process of recording our wedding party who also still rave about him. He knew exactly how to bring our bohemian enchanted forest wedding to life, I followed his lead and so glad I did. The video came out magical and captured our love and our personality so well. Although it rained during our ceremony and we weren't able to use the drone, his quality of work made up for it. He was simply the kindest and we would recommend him 100%, thank you Sunny!

I found Once Upon A Time on the Knot, and from my very first message to them, they've been nothing but accommodating and welcomed suggestions every step of the way! Natalie, Alex, Sunny and the team were a DREAM to work with! They were so professional and created the most PERFECT video for us and tailor made it to fit exactly what we wanted. Along with the amazing and gorgeous Highlight Film that I can't stop watching, we also received all the raw footage of the ceremony, speeches and dances to cherish for a lifetime. BOOK THESE PEOPLE! One of our favorite vendors from the entire wedding! SO easy to communicate with, detail-oriented and just went above and beyond to make us and our guests feel special. Sunny was our videographer and not only was he friendly and adaptable, but he got absolutely amazing footage of our day! My husband and I are both actors, so trust me when I say we're picky about quality when it comes to camera work. THEY NAILED IT! Our friends have already hired Sunny for their wedding just based on how wonderful he was during our day! We almost didn't have a videographer, but now I can't imagine our day without it. We've already received our full edited videos and they are like mini-movies! Every single moment was captured in a memory we'll be able to relive over and over again! Y'all these guys are INCREDIBLE. Not only did they work with our budget to create a package that would get us what we needed, but the finished product was STUNNING. The wedding video is easily the best wedding video I've ever seen (and I've seen my fair share of weddings) and the pictures are just so dreamy. Sunny is a blast to work with, so jovial and excited about your day and all about trying cool things within your space to make your shots and video the best they can be, and Natalie is just the sweetest! She's got a cheerful but steady calm about her that puts even the most camera shy brides (me) right at ease. And Katherine was just as phenomenal, keeping everything rolling and getting all the best shots and sending us pics edited to perfection. Seriously this is a dream team. I couldn't have asked for a better product or a more professional and wonderful to work with team. They are worth every dime and then some.

All i can say is WOW!!! Sunny did my wedding June 2018, and it was beyond what i dreamed of! First, he was sooo sweet and such a awesome person to work with, and he accommodated me on everything i asked for my wedding videography! He captured every beautiful moment in my wedding, and now i will forever have every priceless moment from our special day. Amazing team !!! They where very open and receptive. I gave them a list of photo shots I wanted for the bride and groom and they took off from there.

I was nervous booking my video team, we had gone all out on the wedding and i really wanted to make sure it would all “live forever” on film. I was very happy! The videos were amazing. The drone shots were so cool, and everyone loves watching it. I loved the speeches video, but my favourite was the highlight one! My friends wedding videos are good, but the team Sunny sent are really another level - they actually listen to what you want and do it with class, grace and professionalism! 2 thumbs up!

I am an amateur photographer and Sunny and co are simply the best! They promised us a Hollywood experience, and they didn’t disappoint. My husband was really excited it was the same camera that filmed the Prometheus and Hobbit movies (he is a sci-fi and fantasy nut) and the movie looked SO COOL! My mom and I looked for a while for the right video person for my wedding, and when we found Sunny we knew he was the one! He was awesome on the day! He even danced with grandma when she asked him! The film is one of my favourite things from the day!!

Sunny worked his magic in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains for our wedding. He went above and beyond and kept it fun. Catching all the moments for us to cherish capturing all of our friends and family dancing and partying to the ceremony I couldn't have asked for the final product to be any better. And when we were getting ready to end the night Sunny begged me to continue for a couple more hours, the man is a worker and is phenomenal at what he does because it's his passion. And I will say this he charmed all the ladies with his rich English accent. Sunny was a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend him to anyone else searching for the best when it comes to videographer.

Natalie and Sunny filmed my wedding film. we wanted something unique, something that just focused on us, and who we are as people. They were awesome! The film is so beautiful and really was about on my husband and I, happy to write this review and happy to the moon and back. magic!

Last summer my husband and I got married, a year before we had begun looking for all the vendors for our wedding. After photography, video was next on our list, and when we found sunny we were delighted with the price and his sample videos. But when we got the film he made us..we were AMAZED!!! It was INCREDIBLE! I burst into tears I was so happy, please choose him and his team, they are the best decision you will make.

It has been 2 years since Sunny shot our daughters wedding, but I'm more than happy to write this review because we still watch that video and it is the best money I spent on the wedding. Let me say that I used to be an executive at a movie studio, and I know that a lot of “videographers” are not the best. The opposite is true for Sunny, his films are genuinely very very good, excellently made and he is a gentleman. If that isn’t high enough praise I don’t know what is. Jerry
