John is beyond amazing. I was worried that nobody would dance at my wedding. We gave him a couple of songs and he worked his magic and got people on the dance floor. Even guests that I thought wouldn't dance did. Highly recommend.

ONDAGO is hands down the best DJ! John is fantastic to work with. We recently got engaged at the time and we were trying to book all of our vendors. We had family that used ONDAGO for their wedding and loved his work. If your currently looking to find a DJ, we would highly recommend them. We booked him for our wedding. We worked with us through all of the planning through the wedding process. We had our rehearsal the day before the wedding and it really helped a lot. John really knows what he's doing. I do know that he books pretty fast. On the wedding day, he got there with his staff pretty early in the day. He was there before the wedding started to play music as people were seating and throughout the entire wedding ceremony and the reception. John had people dancing all night long, everyone had an excellent time at our wedding. We played a couple of games as well during the wedding to keep people entertained. With the package that we got for having him included the photo booth for the entire length that the wedding was going on. This was big hit, everyone loved it. We got all of the digital copies of all of the pictures, and it prints out pictures when the photos are being taken too. John really does know his stuff. If we could give him 6 stars we would.

Best DJ ever! Our dance floor was packed the whole night! I’m terrible at making desisions, but I knew what song I wanted to walk down the aisle to, just not the version. John chose one for me and it was perfect! He also came to the rehearsal and gave us many ideas on wedding day timelines. I felt like we got a wedding planner as well as a DJ. John was perfect and made everything run so smoothly. I even have a picture of him helping my father-in-law roll the aisle runner down the aisle - he definitely goes above and beyond. We recommend him 100%!

Highly recommend DJ John. We hired DJ John for our wedding in Cooper Landing and were so happy with our decision. He’s very professional and clearly experienced at both his job as a DJ as well as being an MC. Since the MC basically directs the event, John (with the help of some of his online tools) got us thinking about all the details of ceremony and reception timeline and music flow. He has ideas if you’re looking for guidance, but also provides lots of opportunity for you to tell him how you’d like the night to go and what music you’d like. And he wasn’t fazed when plans changed throughout the night. Guests loved that he took requests and played songs right away!

Want to make sure your wedding ceremony goes smoothly and that your guests are up and moving during the reception? Then Jon is your DJ! Every single person at our wedding had so much fun on the dance floor, even the ones who “don’t dance” danced. He has an AMAZING selection of music and if he doesn’t have the song you’re looking for, he will get it. Jon also helped with music selections, suggested different games to keep our guests entertained (we went with “who is more likely to...” and our guests loved it), he walked us through each event timeline and what corresponding music we wanted, and kept the day of our wedding on track with our timeline. I would recommend Jon for any event in need of a DJ.

What a great experience!!!! John was so great tow work with and with every penny! He made this so easy! He showed up early and everything went great. The photo booth was a very nice touch and a high point for guests! He sent us copies of every photo taken with in a week of the wedding. John was kind, professional, and fun! If you're looking for a dj in Alaska I'm positive ondago is second to none! Thank you John!!

My husband and I looked all around for a DJ in the Girdwood/Anchorage area. We live out of state so it was hard for us to sift through reviews and profiles to be sure what DJ we should go with. How lucky we were to find Ondago! John was AMAZING every step of the way. He was accommodating to our schedule and needs, he was communicative, helpful and supportive. We were hoping for dancing followed by karaoke...and John delivered! He has a GREAT dance AND karaoke playlist. Our family and friends had such a blast. John's playlist had everything we wanted, he listened to our wishes, and made our dream a reality. I would recommend Ondago to anyone looking for a high-quality and professional DJ. Thanks, John!

John is AMAZING! For a DJ to request certain seconds in a song to play was exactly what my music loving husband needed! He kept the party going even after majority of guests sat! He kept switching it up trying to force people in the floor! Just an awesome evening all because of John! Thank you!!!

John outdid any and all hopes I had for my wedding. He was easy to get ahold of when I had questions and helpful with the different challenges we came across. On the day of the wedding everything from our live musicians, speeches, announcements, and music went flawlessly. John was excellent at keeping our guests engaged and entertained. Our dance floor was FULL until the very last minute, and our guests were asking for more! John's professionalism, passion, and attention to detail will make him my number ONE referral for ALL future weddings. Thank you John!!

Was excited when we hired them because the price was right and they were willing to work with us on the playlist. We are just plain snobby and stubborn about music, and it was important that there be no country or pop country or other music we do not like on our big day. We also very specifically requested certain versions of songs and did NOT want a wedding party dance. We had a clear "please do not play" list. All - ALL - of these requests were disregarded. They played songs on our do not play list, played crap country and pop country, and had a random apprentice DJ force a wedding party dance (to a terrible song, I might add). Once John took over and played (mostly) music we requested, people danced and had fun. But even with John at the helm, this outfit did not live up to expectations. Not a wedding-ruining experience, but would NOT hire again.

John Fernandez with ONDAGO Entertainment KILLED IT at our wedding! He made the most important day of our lives so much fun and had everyone on the dance floor until the last song at midnight. His intuition on what songs to play was spot on and his organization and expertise through the planning process gave us full confidence that we were in good hands from our first meeting on. I highly recommend ONDAGO Entertainment for your wedding or special event. Especially if you want your family and friends to walk away saying what a fun night they had. You will be in great hands.

We had a blast at our wedding thanks to John! His equipment was top notch and very classy. He kept the whole wedding running smoothly and I just went to where I was suppose to go next. I didn't have a watch on and didn't care. I would certainly reccomend a DJ to keep the flow going, especailly if you don't have a wedding planner, which I didn't. I also had John at the ceremony too. He has a huge selection of music, and if he doesn't have it, he will find it for you! He was very accomodating to requests, and flexible with the crowd, playing what he sensed the guests liked best. Ondago is a smart choice!

John was fantastic. We interviewed 8 dj's for our wedding and John was the best. He was so prepared and such a great help. He developed a timeline for our wedding the day after we met, customized songs for our entrance songs and our first dance. All of our guests loved his music choices and his ability to go from karaoke to dance music seamlessly. It was a great time.

John knew what he was doing. He had so many resources and ideas that helped with planning the entire wedding, not just the music. He was willing to find music that he didn't have in his library and was always prompt and professional in returning phone calls or e-mails. He checked in throughout the planning to make sure things were going smoothly. Hands down one of the best decisions we made was to hire John.
