ing, Claudia has a terrific eye for design and had so many great ideas. She was also very collaborative and listened to ideas I had and helped make them even better. Her vendor recommendations were AWESOME. Every vendor we used came from Claudia and they all knocked it out of the park. On the day, I had a lot of bride nerves and Claudia's calm demeanor really helped bring my anxiety down. Everything went off without a hitch. The wedding was beautiful and so well organized. She makes it all look so effortless, but of course it takes an enormous amount of effort to do this and she works so hard at what she does and always with a smile and always so stylishly. Don't hesitate to hire Claudia! And if you're in LA you have to check out her cute store, Bonita Bodega, in Echo Park. Such cute stuff!

She’s creative, thoughtful and brings comfort and ease during one of the most important moments of a couple’s journey. Claudia has a wealth of knowledge on venues, vendors, décor, themes, you name it she’s your go-to person. Every challenge, decision, idea that I had Claudia was there to help me through the process. She listened attentively and gave me great advice and recommendations when I needed it. Weddings are such a stressful time for any couple. I am so happy that I hired a wedding coordinator. Especially that I hired Claudia. I knew she was talented but I was not at all prepared for how amazing everything turned out. It was truly a magical day. My wedding was in mid-October and our guests, and even my husband, still cannot stop talking about the wedding. I feel like I just showed up to this wonderful event that Claudia put together. Every time I look back, I smile. It was that beautiful. Working with Claudia was a dream.

We read good reviews about her, found her rates to be very reasonable, and loved that she was a fellow Eastsider. We had several meetings with her before our wedding day, and she was always professional yet fun and relaxed and completely unpretentious, which put us at ease. She helped put together our wedding day timeline, which was immensely helpful. Even though we were very detail-oriented as we planned our wedding, Claudia would ask us questions about things we hadn't even though of, which we appreciated! We had several specific types of decor that we needed her to set up, and on the wedding day, she put it all together exactly as we had wanted! We are so grateful to Claudia for making sure everything ran according to plan on our wedding day. Claudia saved the day when a button from my husband's suit popped off as we lined up to begin the ceremony -- she used her earring to hold the button in place, and none of the guests were any the wiser! I would recommend hiring Claudia!

While we initially billed ourselves as "pretty easygoing," as more time went on, I think we became much more particular than we first let on. But through it all, Claudia rolled with the punches and helped in whatever way we asked (and more). On the day of, Claudia showed up early to make sure that the reception was set up perfectly (and it was). She was present and engaged throughout the wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, and everything went perfectly smoothly. She is organized, energetic, and enthusiastic, which made working with her a delight. We wholeheartedly recommend working with Claudia for your wedding!

On the day of the wedding she was great keeping everything going and adjusting to the unavoidable changes to the schedule and miscellaneous problems. She was so good we didn't notice anything! wedding website then we met in person at a local coffee shop and clicked right away. We had a unique venue where it was very DIY and were working with a blank slate. That meant a little bit more planning. Claudia was up to the task and we kept in contact throughout our wedding planning. She helped us site plan, did an amazing detailed timeline, ran the rehearsal, emailed reminders, followed up with vendors and the day of worked a full day to make sure our wedding day went smoothly and that it did! Claudia took away the wedding day stress from us and handled all the little and big details. She thought of things that we would have not known how to handle. Claudia Is the Wedding planning expert!! She made sure we ate the day of the wedding. She kept us happy and kept us laughing during the wedding planning. We highly recommend One darling Day for all your wedding planning needs! commendation for me! I had a long engagement (16 months) so I planned a lot of the wedding along the way and a lot of DIY. I really wanted someone to help me with the rehearsal part of the wedding and the actual day I didn't want to worry about a thing! Claudia totally helped me with that.
She was responsive whenever I texted her. She isn't a crazy coordinatorzilla who tells you how things will be done. She listens to what you want to do and makes it happen. Claudia met with me twice (we met halfway between LA and OC) before the wedding rehearsal. She ran a little late to all meetings, I mean, she came from LA so I understand traffic but she was on time for the wedding which, let's be honest, is the most important thing anyways!
On the day of, I wasn't stressed whatsoever. Claudia hustled her buns off and set up my venue with the items I made or brought exactly how I imagined even though I never told her where to put them! She just knew my vision and used her great sense to create a fabulous set up. If anything glitched I never knew about it, she just took care of it. She came to get me at times I needed to be places and just kept things flowing and moving. She worked well with vendors.
Overall, I would recommend Claudia to any of my friends, family, or strangers on the street who are looking for a great day-of coordinator who will keep you stress free and enjoying the wedding you worked so hard to plan!
It's been a month since our wedding. I wish I could write a glowing review like the rest, but unfortunately my experience was underwhelming.
1.Communication was not great as sh...
e would take almost two weeks to respond to emails and I would have to follow up with her to get a response.
2. We met as stated in her contract but she was late for 3 meetings. She was 20 mins late to our rehearsal and she did not call to let us know. She later stated she had car problems. A professional would call their client and let them know they were running late.
3.Claudia was rude and unprofessional toward my family when they were trying to figure out how to help setup. She stated "she was under the impression people would know the decor setup which is why I was overwhelmed in the beginning". I gave Claudia a detailed setup of how I wanted things. At the last minute I had family members who could help. I let them know to ask her for instructions as I was super busy the day of. All she had to do was delegate since she had detailed instructions.
4.She forgot to give my dad his boutonniere. Claudia stated in a later email "I put on all the boutonnieres and corsages that were in the brown grocery bags not one was left behind. I recall pinning everyone, hope you can tell by the photos that everyone had one. I should have paid more attention to your dad and noticed that his must have fallen off at some point. But I did pin all the gentleman". There is no way my dad's boutonniere could have fallen off because my dad never got pinned. He was with me at the hotel when the men got their boutonnieres. Furthermore my family stated there was 1 boutonniere left over and I spoke to my dad and he stated no one came to him to pin a boutonniere on him. In all our pictures my dad will not have a boutonniere.
5.My dad was not in the processional line when we were lining up. My dad stated no one told him where to go which was clearly Claudia's job.
6. Our toasts were all messed up. I sent Claudia a timeline stating the order of toasts. There were people who were left off the list. My husband had to go tell the DJ we had additional toasts. Claudia did state in a later email "Yes it was my fault I should have doubled checked the order & that he had everyone noted down correctly but it was an oversight and by the time he called Jason's father it was too late".
7. Claudia failed to inform me I was doing the father/daughter dance. Claudia stated in a later email " I cued the father/daughter dance to DJ. I do remember you went to the dance floor and I was behind your dad at his table to let him know to join you. It was at the same time as you saw him". I heard the DJ announce our song, I panicked because I had no idea we were doing this yet or where my dad was. I scanned the room for my dad and yelled for him across the dance floor. I have this all on video. How embarrassing to have to yell for my dad; all of this could have been prevented had Claudia informed me what was going to happen next which is why we hired her.
Not sure why she didn't produce since there were excellent reviews. The sentiments from majority of my guests were that she seemed overwhelmed and was rude. She was not detailed oriented and a huge portion of what was stated in her contract was not delivered. Gave her a star for refunding half our money back.
Please spend the extra money for someone who doesn't have an additional full time job to help coordinate your wedding.
Claudia is AMAZINNNG!!! If you are on the fence about hiring a coordinator or if your still looking for the right person... look no further! Claudia really made our day complete!! ...
and wonderful!! We were able to enjoy our day to the fullest because Claudia was on top of everything! She is very detail oriented, attentive, quick and not only that.. she is very sweeeet!! Such a wonderful person! Seeing her when she arrived, really made me feel at ease and she made sure things went according to plan. During the planning process she even reminded me of things I had forgotten and helped me figure out what would work best. She even went with us to a meeting with venue and to our rehearsal! She was there every step of the way, helping, guiding and getting things done! She even contacted all my other vendors and emailed them the itinerary. She made sure I was doing okay and that I was getting what I really wanted. The venue told us last minute that we only had 1 hr for set up and Claudia went above and beyond and pulled it all off!! During the reception, my bustle came undone and she helped me to bathroom and SHE helped fix it!! I trully cant say enough about Claudia, her profesionalism and her services... Absolutely recommending her to anyone getting married!! make sure to contact her asap! to make sure she's available for your day!! Her prices are unbelievably affordable! and im in awe of everything she handled and she is worth every penny and MORE! Other coordinators that ive heard of have done much less and charged much more! She is such a gem!! If something went wrong, I have no idea because she made sure I was not bothered with anythng and enjoyed our day! Anywhere I was, she was nearby in case I needed her. Even my bridal party thought she was very sweet and other people thought she was my friend because she was soo nice and the chemistry i felt with her was like a true friend. I felt comfortable telling her my concerns from the very beginning and she made sure I got what i wanted! Thank you for everything Claudia! my owl friend... :)
