Katie was amazing! She helped our day run so smoothly and brought our vision to life. We communicated throughout wedding planning and she helped make the process easier. The one complaint I have is about the bouquet/garter toss. When it was time to do it a majority of our single guests were gone and I no longer saw a point in doing it. I just wish that an adjustment was made and that it was done sooner. But we were so busy running around that it slipped our minds completely. Although that is one of my regrets I still highly recommend her. Just communicate what time you want that done.

Hands down, you need a wedding planner and Katie is your girl! I'm so thankful I had a month of planning with Katie because there is so much that goes on that you aren't even aware of. She worked the timeline out and communicated with all of my vendors. I loved how we worked out our reception floor plan with my head table in the center of the action. She was very supportive throughout the process. Katie's staff is also top notch as they stepped in during the our reception set up because of a family emergency that popped that morning. Katie's staff got everything prepped, ready and beautiful by the time she was able to join us. Katie kept us on time especially in the heat of May. During pictures, she always had my flowers dried and ready for me. I don't think I would have known where my flowers were half the time if it wasn't for her ha! I loved the flow of the evening, thanks to the magical timeline, and I loved that I never had to worry about what was next. I got to live in the moment and enjoy the evening. You really can't ask for more than that!

THE BEST. Katie was made for this. Best investment we made for our day, hands down. She has the calmest, most reassuring personality, and is the hardest worker! Our day was completely stress free because of her punctuality, attention to detail and poise. She has so much experience and was able to make plans “a”, “b”, and even “c” just in case. Katie was an absolute blessing for our wedding day! I had such a stress free wedding day because of her, she managed every detail and I had zero worries honestly. We started working together and setting up the timeline a little less than a month before the wedding. 2 of our other vendors said amazing things about Katie as well when I mentioned that we were working with her for the day of coordination. Sometimes people are on the fence on whether or not a coordinator is “worth it” for the wedding day and the answer is absolutely, they are worth it!! Katie was always on top of everything for our big day! From the planning before the day to the actual day, our day ran smoothly because of her. She was a great communicator and had a multiple page excel document we had the whole day planned out on. All the vendors knew where to be and when because of the master spreadsheet. Every wedding has it's hiccups, but Katie handled them to the best of her ability and let us just celebrate the day. I don't know if I could ever say enough good things about Katie! I hired her to be my month-of coordinator mainly so I would not have to worry about anything on my wedding day. And my wedding day went incredibly smoothly because of her work! She helped me make a timeline and floor plan, and she also sent the necessary information to my vendors prior to the wedding. The day of the wedding, I literally was not stressed about a single thing. She handled everything so gracefully, and let me celebrate with my friends and family throughout the event. From day 1 of planning for our big day (almost 2 years away might I add) Katie and her team immediately started planning a timeline, countdown and step by step to get ready for our big day. Since the day we signed the contract, (about 6-8 months prior to our wedding) she started planning with us the wedding schedule and important meeting dates. Katie was was the BEST wedding coordinator! I knew I wasn’t going to be able to handle our wedding day by myself, so hiring Katie was the best decision I made through out the whole wedding planning process! Day of coordinator doesn’t even come close to what she did for us. From when I said yes, she answered every question I had, literally anything! Coordinating with vendors for our schedule to planning the seating chart. I planned this big wedding by myself and knowing I had someone to make it all happen the day of, made me feel like my hard work was not going to fall through. I was totally on the fence about choosing a wedding planner because I had worked for a wedding planner in the past and thought I could do it all myself. I decided that I probably didn’t want all that stress especially once my day got closer so I hired Katie and her team as a month of planner. Katie was helpful from the very beginning even though my wedding was MONTHS away! She had a rough draft timeline to me within a couple days for me to go over and make any changes to, which I think is pretty awesome, considering I chose only month of! Katie and her assistants completely made it worry and stress free the day of my wedding. I seriously cannot imagine if they wouldn’t have been there. They were rockstars! I seriously cannot say enough good things about them. I also cannot say enough HIRE A WEDDING PLANNER!! Katie and One Fat Dove is worth their weight in gold! If you are on the fence about getting a coordinator, just do it, and pick her! She was reccomended by our cake baker when we were answering questions for the day of, including the day of contact. I wanted a coordinator but my now husband wasn't convinced it was necessary. Our baker basically said, well worst case scenario, I get a flat tire while delivering your cake, I'm going to need someone to call and I don’t want to be bothering you with that and the hubby started to see the light. I contacted One Fat Dove the next day. From the start she was friendly and answered any questions I had from the fiancè. She didn't pressure me in that first call, went over all of our questions, sent a contract for us to look over. I was immediately sold. It was like I was talking to an old friend. She was extremely helpful with our covid postponement as well. Once we got the date figured out, she took charge of getting all the updated contracts. I was incredibly overwhelmed (in a good way!) with the timeline she had sent me. There were so many things on there I would have never thought about and at some points the day was broken down into 10 minute increments. I really don't think we would have pulled off our wedding without her. She was always quick to reply to emails and helped calm me down when I had a covid wedding freak out moment. I felt much better after talking with her about her experiences so far. We did have a few phone calls to fill out any questions they had for me on the timeline and to tweak it a little here and there. It was all perfect and ready a few weeks ahead. Now the day of.... HOLY COW! I didn't have to do anything at all! The hubby was super impressed and after was like dang, yeah she was more than worth it! We brought our boxes into the venue and they took over. Everything was perfect. I had sent a few pictures of my centerpiece plan and they nailed it! They popped in a few times to ask some questions while we were getting ready, but other than that, if there were any hiccups or anything at all, I wouldn't have known. She made the day completely stress free! She was also an expert dress fluffer, making my train beautiful for our pictures. Our photographer also commented on the detail of the timeline and wished he could work with her all the time. She was also great with our dj too. They didn't let up all night and kept everything going more than perfect! By the end of the night everything was packed up and down to less boxes than we came in with. I was in awe all night of how awesome they were! Seriously, you will not regret hiring One Fat Dove! I could go on forever about our amazing experience and I am so thankful for Katie making our day perfect!

Katie was absolutely amazing!! We were so impressed with her execution and how she handled everything at both our rehearsal and our wedding! The "Katies" were BEYOND amazing!!! It truly was a blessing coming across them. I had their help during the last part of my wedding planning but wish I had decided to bring them in sooner. Right away after our first meeting, I knew I was in great hands. They had awesome suggestions and ideas- even down to the smallest details. Anytime I had questions or just wanted to go over things, they were responsive/available/flexible via call, text, email, and in person. Best of all, they treated me like a friend not just another client. It seriously was a breeze during the entire time of planning. At the rehearsal dinner, I had a bit of a family meltdown which delayed getting everything started but they carried on professionally and calmly and had my back through it all. When the big day arrived, I had some last minute changes and they made it happen without hesitation. I had also given them my wedding decor to set out however suited their fancy and when I got to see how they had arranged everything- it was PERFECT (heart eyes). During the course of the 12 hour wedding day, they were running around the venue between the chapel, reception area, bride's cottage, and groom's cottage all in the Texas heat like champs. Even my wedding party noticed and were coming up to me telling me how "on top of it" they were. Needless to say, my wedding day was a dream and I ultimately owe it all to One Fat Dove. Even with the added stress of the pandemic, they were on point from the first day and did more than what was expected which I am super grateful for. She was on it the whole time. No one needed anything or wondered anything because Katie is just that good at what she does. There were "problems" that weren't even problems because Katie saw to them immediately and I didn't even know! Talk about a blessing. And on top of being the best, she is the most genuine and kind hearted human. The EXACT type of energy you'll want/need on your big day. I love her and wish I could have another wedding just to be around her and her amazing spirit.

To be honest I told my daughter I did not want the expense of a wedding coordinator because I can do that, right? Well, let me tell you, it was the best-spent money of anything we paid for! Katie immediately took all the pressure off of me, was very organized and had thoughts and ideas I had never even thought about! Katie arrived at the event before we even did with her assistant and was ready to attack the day! My idea of a coordinator had always been just standing around with the clipboard making sure everything was getting done. However, Katie and her assistant worked their butts off physically helping with all of the decorations for hours! They then helped clean up everything at the end of the night after keeping everyone on schedule the entire day. We cannot thank one fat dove enough for all they did for my daughter’s special day!

Hiring Katie @ One Fat Dove was by far the very best decision I made all throughout wedding planning. We used her for “month of” services but let me tell you, this girl made me feel like she she had my back from the very first second of our initial phone call more than 5 months out. She attended meetings with me, responded to emails and chased other vendors on my behalf, and created a Beautiful master timeline that all vendors adhered to... and that is only the tip of the iceberg. Katie is not only good at what she does professionally, she is a GOOD person, literally one of the sweetest and most genuine human beings I’ve ever met. Whenever I felt even a tiny bit anxious or insecure she knew exactly what to say or what to do to calm my nerves, ESPECIALLY the day of my wedding. She is an amazing advocate for the bride and groom and literally thought of everything I didn’t, and completely took the reins so that I could truly enjoy my day and focus on marrying the love of my life. My wedding day ended up being everything I had imagined and hoped for, and I owe a lot of that to Katie!! I wish I could give her more than 5 stars.
