We were lucky enough to have Kathi as our day of coordinator- however, she did SO MUCH MORE than just coordinate our wedding day. Kathi was with us from the beginning- we actually ...
picked Oxford Exchange as a venue because she led our tour and we thought "wow, this is someone who is going to take care of us". And she did! She is incredibly knowledgeable, dependable, and prepared. She walked us through timelines, important decisions, family opinions, and advocated for us when we disagreed with our vendors. She was there from the first minute of our wedding day and made sure it ran FLAWLESSLY- even getting stuck in a downpour so we could stay dry. We had family and friends remark to us on how evident it was that she deeply cared that our wedding day was the day WE wanted. If you have the opportunity to use Kathi as your coordinator, DO NOT HESITATE! She is worth every penny and more!!
One Fine Day, specifically Holly, was the best decision we made throughout our planning. Holly stayed in constant contact with us throughout the planning period and then on the day...
of (and rehearsal) she made everything a BREEZE!
She also helped orchestrate a surprise visit by Boba Fett and Storm Troopers thanks to the local 501st Legion. I know it's cliché to say, but it was legitimately a perfect day and that is in no small part due to Holly's efforts.
DEFINITELY recommend!
Sarah and Holly did an outstanding job with my Daughters Wedding. Not only do they have impeccable taste but they are extremely concerned about budgets and making sure they live up...
to every single expectation. It is very nice to have an event company exceed expectations in every area.
Carolina worked with me for over two years for my wedding during the pandemic! She is so sweet and patient and did an amazing job! Everything was well worth the wait!
Maybe we hired Sarah at too busy and difficult a season? Or maybe our wedding was just not seen as important as other big events her team had going on at the time? Or maybe, it’s o...
n us and we just weren’t able to communicate our visions and needs effectively? Whatever it was, planning and wedding day-of did not go as expected—maybe it was an off-time for Sarah (we did marry during covid and down-sized) but quite a fair amount stuff was missed the day-of given the expectations that were laid out and the price we paid :/ our guests didn’t notice anything was a-miss and we’re happy to be married of course, but we’re bummed to say the least that our vision and discussions were not executed as planned. It seemed like a lot of small things consistently slipped through the cracks and, added together, was just a lot of mistakes or mess-ups. We’re all rather shocked at our experience given the positive reviews and the high accolades of Sarah and her team :/ Ultimately, the past is in the past and I want to think back at the good parts of our wedding day fondly (like marrying my soulmate, yay!) and not open old wounds (it’s not worth it) but it sucks to be reminded of what it could have been when looking back at the pictures. Sarah and her team are as nice as can be but, unfortunately, we can’t in good consciousness recommend them.
I was a bride at Oxford Exchange, and so we were advised to use One Fine Day as our wedding planner.
First and foremost, I cannot say enough nice things about Sara's handling of ...
the actual wedding day. She did a wonderful job.
However, I can't honestly say that was our experience in the weeks and months leading up to the wedding. The trouble is that you often don't deal with Sara, you deal with her staff, which often lacked attention to detail.
In addition, we repeatedly had problems getting in contact with One Fine Day. It would take a week to get a response, even once we hit the three week mark. I understand that the company handles a massive number of events, but it we often felt that we were not a priority. For example, after a month of repeatedly reaching out to One Fine Day, they finally let us know that one of our vendors, a florist they recommended, actually dropped our wedding. While the situation was resolved, it should not have happened, and it certainly should not have taken the company almost a month to finally follow up with us. Our rehearsal was also a complete mess, but again the actual day went off without issue, and so it all worked out. My only real issue is that hiring a wedding planner is an investment, and I expected more. As a day of coordinator, the service is fantastic.
We cannot recommend One Fine Day enough for your wedding coordinator! We worked with Sarah as our day-of coordinator and she was incredible. Sarah's many years of experience are ...
invaluable when it comes to making sure that all of the pieces of your big day fall into place. We had been planning for over a year, but there were still so many small things that came up, and inevitably, Sarah was there making sure that everything ran smoothly. She always has a smile on her face and her calming demeanor is refreshing amidst the planning and execution of a wedding. Working with One Fine Day was worth every last penny. Do yourself the favor.
