One Five Six Four Entertainment One Five Six Four Entertainment was founded in 2009 by husband and wife team, Jared and Ashley Thompson. Since then, flagship bands Midtown 10 (formerly IDT Band) and Empire 6 have performed for hundreds of weddings, corporate events, galas, and fundraisers. They are known among clients and event planners for attracting the industry’s most phenomenal vocalists, setting trends in creative and immersive production, and staying firmly committed to quality, relevance, and good taste. What’s The Difference? A very common question is “What is the difference between Midtown 10 and Empire 6” The short answer is “there isn’t one.” Midtown 10 is the original band that started it all in 2009. Thankfully, because of the success and demand for the band, we were able to duplicate the formula that was proven to work, and Empire 6 was created in 2012. While some entertainment companies produce several (or infinite) versions of the same band, we elected to give Empire 6 its own identity. They immediately matched pace with Midtown 10, and both bands have now performed hundreds of events followed by rave reviews. Both bands are produced and styled identically, sharing the same song list, choreography, mashups, and even the same amazing sound production and programmed lighting.

and executed the night flawlessly. Dancing up on stage and singing our last song (“Friends in Low Places”) was honestly my favorite memory of the reception. We looked at other bands but were blown away by this band when we saw them at a wedding. Their song list is one of the main reasons we chose this band. Their list is extensive, from today’s hits, country, and general crowd pleasers, we knew there would be a song for all of our guests to dance too. You know it’s a sign of a great band when the dance floor was NEVER empty for over two hours. I seriously cannot recommend this band enough. Whether you go with IDT, 1564, or Ashley Austin, you will have the best time.

energy they brought. We went to their complimentary showcase to see how they perform and fell in love then and then hired them. But on the big day - their energy was next level. There were even outfit changes!! One of our favorite moments was when the band got off the stage and played music and danced with the guests. They were so interactive and fun. They also learned to play our first dance song which we loved. I can't praise them enough. Go to a showcase and see their awesomeness for yourself. The videos online don't do them justice! Also - a must to hear the band and Mike perform Bohemian Rhapsody!
