Hana Lim began her floral design career almost a decade ago, specializing in weddings, corporate events and editorial shoots. After graduating with a degree in interior design in Korea and a received intensive floral design training in England, Ms. Lim followed her passion for floral design and styling and relocated to New York City. In her most recent role as a head floral designer in Manhattan, Ms. Lim had the opportunity to work with hundreds of clients to make their floral visions come to life. Ms. Lim's work is characterized as romantic and whimsical. She continually strives to stay current with the latest floral design trends in the industry. In addition to working with client events, Ms. Lim also hosts floral design workshops at her NYC studio.

Working with Hana was an absolute dream! She was my florist for my wedding at The Sanctuary on Roosevelt Island last month, and I am so blown away by her work. You will not find anymore more creative, communicative, meticulous, and kind- she is a joy. She not only brought my vision to life- it was honestly better than even in my wildest dreams. She transformed my venue into a fairyland. My guests are still gushing over how gorgeous the flowers were. I can’t say enough good things about her. She is the best, and I highly recommend working with her and her team. Hana- thank you so much for everything! <3

Hana and Lucy were incredible throughout the entire process, and our wedding day florals far exceeded my already high expectations! I’m so glad I chose them for our big day. They helped talk out every part of my vision and the flowers were all SO gorgeous. I didn’t see a single flower wilt or out of place the entire night!

I hired One Flower by L and I cannot recommend them enough! I worked with Hana, and she is incredible. She is professional, responsive, personable and has an incredible talent for design. She is very flexible with design changes and quickly offers updated quotes. During the process of styling and choosing the arrangements, I leaned on her skills and expertise and she helped me select the perfect arrangements and setup. The final product she delivered was stunning - it was even better than I dreamed! Her team worked tirelessly the day of the wedding and were so lovely to work with. I cannot recommend them enough!

One Flower by L exceeded my expectations - they knew how to achieve my vision, but made it even BETTER than I could have ever imagined. They had recommendations on how to further improve upon my own concepts and take it to the next level, without going over the top. The florals were absolutely STUNNING - so classy and tasteful but striking. When I saw my venue for the first time, it quite literally took my breath away. They were so easy to work with, reliable, and affordable. I could not recommend this vendor more!

I worked with Hana for my October 2023 wedding, and boy was I happy I found her! Reaching out to vendors and planning your own wedding can be an intimidating process, but Hana was always so sweet, transparent, and easy to work with. Despite being incredibly busy herself, Hana was always responsive, professional, and happy to answer our questions/accommodate our requests. The planning process was simple and straightforward, and the results were STUNNING. Truly, everything she created for our wedding was even more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. I hope to have an excuse to get flowers from Hana again in the future. 100% recommend!

Hana's flower design is really beautiful, and meets my vision of the wedding. My vision of the flower decoration is colorful elegant, more Korean style. The photographers said this is the most beautiful flower they have ever seen in the season. Hana insist with onsite sampling to ensure alignment of requirement. The final flower is exact same as the sample one with changes from the feedback. I highly recommend Hana to whoever looking for a wedding with special flower decoration.

Florals make such a statement in wedding photos, and so my husband and I, who don’t know the difference between a daisy and a tulip and who spent days on end trying to motivate ourselves to pick wedding colors, were absolutely dreading the process of creating a floral vision. So how lucky were we to find Hana, who is an expert in her craft and an absolute dream to work with. During the planning process, we exchanged several emails with Hana to send her our color scheme, but really the only “lift” was to make an in-studio visit to provide feedback on a sample and to tell her what floral pieces we’d like to order. Having seen Hana’s beautiful portfolio, we trusted the process, knowing that we had aligned on thematic items like colors, and the resulting florals in our ceremony and reception spaces (at the Wythe Hotel) absolutely took our breath away. Not to mention, Hana and her team diligently spent the morning setting up the venue and promptly came back after the event to break everything (including ceiling greenery) down. One Flower by L is not only artistically masterful, but incredibly reliable. We would highly recommend that anyone looking to book a wedding florist inquire and book with Hana and her expert team!

We found Hana through our wedding venue's Instagram Stories and she was our top pick for florals. She creates such beautiful pieces and I couldn't recommend her more. We met with her in person to discuss more about our vision for florals - which was similar to something she's created in the past but just slightly different and to our wedding colors. We were able to do a floral trial with her and we were lucky to time it perfectly to our pre-wedding photo shoot so it was perfect to tie in our photos before & during the wedding with the flowers. We originally hired Hana to work on our ceremony arches (ABSOLUTELY STUNNING), bridal bouquet, bridesmaids bouquets and boutonnieres. And for centerpieces, I originally though that I would do them myself but then a few weeks before the wedding, I felt so stressed with everything, that we reached out to Hana to see if she was able to take on the centerpieces as well. THANK GOODNESS she and her team were available because it took a big weight off our shoulders + we had some guests decline so it helped with our budget ;). Overall, we LOVED the work Hana executed and LOVED working with her. We couldn't recommend her more - I mean.... COME ON look at these pictures!

I cannot say enough about Hana and One Flower by L. Hana was so responsive, patient, and professional throughout our planning process, even when I went back and forth on various design choices. On the day of our wedding I wasn't exactly sure what the flowers would look like (I sent Hana some inspirational photos and trusted her to make beautiful arrangements). Saying I was blown away would be an understatement. From the bouquets, to the ceremony flowers and the table arrangements everything looked even more beautiful than I could have imagined. Our venue was beautiful, bur Hana's designs elevated it to a whole other level. Thank you Hana and the One Flower by L team!

Hana did my wedding flowers and she was a dream to work with! The florals were exquisite and the room was so beautiful. It’s exactly what I wanted! Simply perfect! She so quickly understood our vision without requiring any back and forth and delivered something so much better than I could have imagined! Her flowers and styling just up lifted that whole room! I do not have enough good things to say about Hana. She took every little bit of my vision and brought it to life. I sent her so many inspo pics over the course of 12+ months. And she remembered and documented every last one. We had our wedding at a photography studio/event space, so it was completely bare and Hana brought it to life. I almost cried when I walked in. I would trust her with ANYTHING

Hana and her team did an incredible job, flawlessly bringing to life the exact color palette and flower mix that I was hoping for. As I'm a Type-A kind of person :) she graciously handled all of my questions, concerns, and emails, especially in the weeks prior to the wedding. On the morning of, I was in awe of the flower arch and bouquets, and so happy with how everything turned out! After getting various quotes from florists and doing a ton of research, I felt that One Flower by L was reasonably priced and had very impressive work, and I'm so happy I went with them :)

Hana's florals are AMAZING and so so beautiful. I almost didn't reach out to her because I assumed her gorgeous florals would be out of my price range. I'm so glad I did because she gave me a great quote. I feel like I did a pretty bad job describing my vision but when I walked into my wedding venue on wedding day, the floral vibe was EXACTLY what I wanted - it was like she read my mind!

Hana and her team were absolutely wonderful. Her eye for detail, color, and aesthetic is incredible. Being a covid bride was hard; I never got to meet with Hana or see her studio in person, but she was easy to reach, always updating and collaborating in an efficient manner, and my vision was executed even better than I imagined. I would recommend One Flower by L to anyone who asks! We were so happy with the decor on our wedding day, especially our Chuppah!

I was so taken with Hana's eye for design, structural shape, and color from her website alone that I knew even before meeting with her that I wanted her to be our florist. She was extremely thorough during the planning process and after getting MANY quotes from other florists, I felt she was very reasonable especially in NY area. She even agreed to walk through the venue with me prior to the wedding since she hadn't done that particular venue before. On the wedding day itself, she was punctual and her team was great. They went above and beyond as we were battling unpredictable weather. They rolled with the punches and were efficient and brought our vision to life! Cannot recommend them enough - please check them out for weddings in the NY area, you won't regret it. We still continue to get compliments on the flowers and greenery from the day.

Hana made our wedding day dreams come true. The flowers were so gorgeous, and it was one of my favorite parts of the entire day. Hana was professional, kind, and always responsive to emails. She and her team worked so hard on the wedding day, and set up everything perfectly. Even though they had to travel far to our wedding, they came perfectly on time and had everything set up beautifully. Hana really listened and made our designs even more beautiful than I could have imagined! I am so grateful we found her. She is a true artist when it comes to floristry! I appreciate all the care and love she put into our wedding, and I will always be grateful we were able to work with her!

we were so fortunate to have found Hana for our wedding in May! during our initial planning phase, we interviewed a lot of top florists in Manhattan and i wasn't confident in any of them because they either couldn't work with our more modest budget, or seemed disinterested in our wedding because of our budget. finally after our latest choice submitted a lazily put together proposal that didn't capture my vision at all, i found One Flower by L. our first meeting went great, my fiancé and I felt confident that Hana not only could bring our vision to life, but actually cared. I was a very particular bride, and Hana was able to handle my type A personality and pickiness with grace and a positive attitude. after the sample meeting, she was kind enough to let me come along with her to the flower market and take notes on what i liked. on the wedding day, my expectations were exceeded beyond belief. when i arrived at our venue at Tavern on the Green, it was like i stepped into a fairytale. I couldn't get over how beautiful the flowers were. The floral arch she created was breathtaking, and was a popular spot for photos all night. the tables were overflowing with gorgeous arrangements and romantic candles. every single one of my guests commented on the beauty of our flowers that night. I can't thank Hana enough for working with us and I will do so for our future events.

Hana did such a wonderful job crafting the flowers for our wedding. From my bouquet with cascading greenery to the impressive escort card table arrangement, she did not disappoint. When we first met Hana, I had trouble articulating my vision--I wanted a wild, romantic look with muted colors, but I couldn't exactly pin down the color scheme. I showed Hana a few examples of the natural style I was looking for and she took it from there, creating arrangements that I could not have envisioned myself, but that were exactly what I wanted. Not only is she incredibly talented, but she was a joy to work with. She promptly responded to every email (and there were a lot!) and was patient and accommodating when we added or removed arrangements. She revised the proposal numerous times--and right before the wedding--until we were had everything we wanted, at a price we were comfortable paying. Her value far exceeds her fair prices, and we are so happy we picked Hana for our big day. We are confident that in a few years, One Flower by L will be a big name in the NYC wedding industry. Thank you, Hana, for making our wedding a dream come true.
