One Life Photography is a wedding photography business in Myrtle Beach, SC. Victor and Lyra, the creative minds behind the company, have captured memorable shots for over seven years. The photography-loving pair has experience shooting both digital and film photography. Their business and passion have taken them all over the place, from Cabo San Lucas and LA to Lake Tahoe and New York. Fine art wedding photography. What that means is we are trying to preserve your images forever, making them look really clean and timeless. We consider ourselves hybrid photographers; we love to mix the warmth of film and the sharpness of technology. For a long time, we had been feeling that something was missing in the digital world, and we rediscovered film and its beautiful and timeless look, so pleasing to the human eye. During the wedding, expect us to shoot about 20% of your images with a film camera and 80% with a digital camera.

They are unbelievably talented, kind, and we had an incredible experience with them from the communication, engagement photo session, and wedding day. We feel so lucky to have worked with Victor and Lyra for our Charleston wedding on May 13th of this year! While we originally selected OneLife for their incredible photos, we could not have imagined how above-and-beyond Victor and Lyra would go for us. From the beginning, Victor was extremely easy to work with, communicative, and willing to answer every question I had. He was also flexible, modifying certain elements of their photography packages to meet our needs as a destination wedding couple. On the day of our wedding, Victor and Lyra worked as an amazing and dynamic team – They have a special ability to capture both candid and posed photos in such a beautiful way. They completed our family and bridal party portraits in an extremely efficient manner and were wonderful in trying to capture photos of our dog. They are also willing to put in the work to get that perfect shot (Victor went so far as to relocating a poorly parked golf cart to get it out of the background of our sunset photos!). Every time we turned, it seemed like Victor or Lyra was there, snapping away. Even more unexpectedly, Victor sent us 80 (yes, EIGHTY) sneak peek photos within the first week of our wedding! We were THRILLED to have all these precious moments in our hands so quickly. We could not have asked for a better experience or more gorgeous photos. We highly recommend OneLife Photography for your special day!

Hands down the best photographer. There is no doubt about it. I interviewed a lot of others, but I was transfixed by Victor’s photos. He and his partner, Lyra, are so wonderful to work with. I was extremely nervous, but Victor made it so easy. I had 25 people in my wedding party, and Victor’s team was able to quickly and efficiently take all the pictures I wanted! I highly recommend One Life Photography, PARTICULARLY if you want sunset or night photos, which were extremely important to me. I cannot thank one life photography enough for their incredible talent and work.

Victor and Lyra are incredible!! They listened to us and what we wanted to capture throughout the day/evening. Their expertise was evident as they suggested certain shots knowing that they'd turn out beautifully. We feel so lucky to have had them as our wedding photographers. Victor and Lyra did an AMAZING job and I highly recommend using them for your special events. I wanted to find photographers who were comfortable with night time photos and capturing in the moment photos and they blew everything out of the water. They also were very calm and on top of everything during the planning process and on my wedding day. Every single photo they took for my wedding was breathtaking!

Victor and Lyra were such a pleasure to work with for our wedding and words can’t describe how beautiful the pictures are that they took. They both were so professional and made sure that everything went well and on time, which is very impressive since it was such a crazy day! They’re professionals at what they do and it showed! We also had the opportunity to have them set up a photo booth at our reception and it was a huge hit! It was so easy for everyone to use and Lyra was there to assist which was awesome! My husband and I were married back in May and we could not have been more pleased with our photographer. We used the same company for our engagement photos and wedding, and the pictures turned out beautifully! Additionally, we were offered a military discount which we were super grateful. Also, we ordered the photo booth which was a lot of fun for our guests, and set up very beautifully! We would recommend this vendor to others looking for a photographer.

AMAZING. I couldn't more highly recommend a wedding photographer. Victor is so great. He was so flexible from the very start - seeing as I was an out-of-town bride and wouldn't be around to enjoy his standard wedding packaging (including engagement photos, boudoir photos). He customized a package specifically to be, all while remaining extremely reasonable with the prices. The day of my wedding, Victor and his second shooter, Lyra, showed up on time and ready to go! I, was running late due to hair and makeup complications, and he just went to town getting shots of my dress, the venue, the transportation, the invites - everything. He was super funny, and very personable. We laughed a lot during the day. And I feel like he was everywhere - there was always the clicking of a camera happening in the background of all the important events. He listened to all the shots we wanted to get, and made sure to ask for a shot list of family members & friends. I am so looking forward to getting my album...I can't wait!

After researching area photographers for our wedding, we were instantly in love with Victor's work and knew he would be the one we would choose to photograph our special day. Victor went above our expectations of what we were looking for. Our pictures are simply amazing and unique in many ways. He captured every detail of our wedding day.
