Honestly, look no further. Words cannot describe how truly AMAZING, One Sound NYC DJ is. Steve and Will took our vision and made our wedding the best.party.ever. Absolutely killed it! So many of our guests agreed they were the best DJ they have heard in years. The music for our wedding was so important to us, I knew we wanted to dance and have a blast, and that’s exactly what they delivered. From the moment we reached out to One Sound and spoke with Steve, I had an immediate sense of trust, you could feel he cared about our wedding and the unique vision we had. He got to know us as individuals and a couple, he was patient and kind. He encouraged us to be genuine to ourselves and what we wanted for our wedding from the music selection to important parts of the day that often go unnoticed. On your wedding day, you need to know you have vendors to trust and I can say One Sound DJ did just that. I feel truly blessed to have worked with Steve and Will. If you are looking to have the best party ever book One Sound DJ! My hubby and I would work with Steve and Will a million times over! One Sound is the best ever!!! Steve and his team took our wedding to the next level. We had sooo many people say the music was one of the best parts of the night and that they loved meeting and chatting with Steve. First of all, our wedding music was something that was super important to my husband and I so we were nervous about what company to choose and did not make our decision lightly. We didn’t want a corny LI DJ and an over the top MC who was constantly yelling over the mic… Stephen listened to all of my concerns and talked me through the plan for the night multiple times and gave us great guidance for how to curate the perfect vibe. And it was literally perfect!! I told him we had a bunch of friends and family traveling in from far away and major cities and we needed to show out and they SHOWED OUT for real. The whole team MC, DJ and Production nailed it— I have to plug the lighting too because I didn’t know what to even ask for and they just handled it and we loved it so much. I wish more than anything I could have a recorded set or playlist from our wedding because it was so perfect and fun, we danced all night! As a side note, they referred us to Jack Morelli who we worked with to book the Spanish guitarist and percussionist for our ceremony and cocktail hour and they were also so professional and talented and easy to work with as well. Thank you so much One Sound for helping us make our wedding a night we will never forget!!! We love you guys!

Steve BROUGHT the energy y’all!! What an amazing presence to bring to an event! He was simple and easy to work with, and definitely made things happen without much guidance from us. He is the type of vendor who can take a little bit of direction and run with it — creating an amazing, energetic, and just all-around fun atmosphere for your event! As an event planner myself, I was confident that Steve would deliver on our wedding day, so I let him run with his creative energy and professional expertise. If you’re someone who wants to be more hands-on with your music choices, he absolutely welcomes that at all. But knowing someone who was considerate to our needs and taste was on the case allowed me to relax and not plan every detail of this part of my day — which was HUGE. Hiring Steve was like hiring the breathing room I absolutely needed for my day! I maintain that DJ’s are the way to go with weddings as it was so much fun to throw around some oldies and some top 40s — and some throwbacks from the 2010’s (when all the greatest dancing hits were made! lol). Steve offers a variety of packages at all price points and can truly provide you that custom experience to get everything you need and more out of an entertainment vendor! He was also able to play the exact versions of songs I needed, which was hugely important to us as our first dance song was a specific cover of a popular song where the original sounds waaaay different. All around, cannot wait to have more parties and hire Steve again!

I’m a little Late with his review but I still just had to add it. Steve and the one sound team are a brides dream come true. From day one Steve knew exactly what we wanted being a multicultural couple a literally made everything happen. I knew when it came to the music and the flow of the night I had not one thing to worry about. If you want the wedding of Your dreams and the comfort of knowing one of the most important parts are your day is in the right hands call Steve today! You won’t regret it!

Steve, at One Sound NYC Events, was the DJ for our wedding this past weekend. He was the absolute best! It was clear from our first phone call with Steve that he has a passion for his craft. Throughout the entire process he was very professional and provided a lot of useful feedback on details we didn’t even consider. Being a COVID wedding, and having to reschedule, again Steve was very understanding. Throughout the night, Steve played high energy songs that kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night!! Days later, many guests are still telling us they are still recovering because they couldn’t remember the last time they danced that much in a single night (again a thanks to Steve). In closing, Steve did an awesome job and we very highly recommend him. My only suggestion to those who hire him, is to wear comfortable shoes or bring your slippers because you will be dancing all night!!! Thank you Steve!!!

Stephen, Laz, and Johnny Bam Bam are amazing! Our wedding guests had the BEST time. We cannot thank them enough for making our wedding a blast. They played such an amazing variety and took our every request into account. They are so thorough and help you plan every step of the way!!

Stephen and his team helped us have the wedding of our dreams. The pandemic unfortunately pushed our original wedding to almost a year later but Stephen and I were in constant communications on the changes and he was more than happy to help us with details. He made us both feel involved and was so helpful with any recommendations he could give us. He was thoughtful and his attention to detail was unbelievable (playing Lady in Red in queue to my maid of honor's speech was so clutch) and I would recommend One Sound over and over again to any of my friends! The MC was so great in dancing and having fun with all of us and the photo booth attendant was very helpful even with the line of people trying to get in at all times. Thank you again One Sound!

Steve and his team went above and beyond. They were so professional and organized and truly helped make our day such a dream. Their ability to make a party happen truly showed. 10/10 recommend, we can’t wait to use them again!

My husband & I were so beyond thrilled with Stephen & team at One Sound NYC. From our initial meeting, Stephen made a point to get to know my fiance & I, our love story, our wedding theme, likes/dislikes etc. He wanted to make the entire music planning process seamless and curated to our tastes. Leading up to the big day he encouraged me to put together a playlist so he could get a feel for the type of music I wanted at our wedding. It was a great idea because him and his team completely nailed it the day of, and every single person at our day-time wedding danced the entire 5 hours. I highly recommend! Everyone also LOVED the photo-booth!

From the start, Steve was amazing to work with. He was very helpful in pointing out things we missed, making suggestions based on his experience at the venue, and ultimately listening to what our ideal night would be like. To be honest he nailed it. To make it better, our MC on the night of was Will. He was by far one of the best we have ever seen. Both family and friends have told us that they thought the DJ and MC brought a contagious energy, that made our guests night. The music selection was exactly what we wanted, they made the transitions seamless, and kept the crowd going for the entire night. Our day would not have been as special if we didn’t have One Sound NYC there with us. We wouldn’t recommend any other DJ because they treated us like family the entire time!

What can I even say about these amazing people.. from the second we met with Steve and the One Sound team we KNEW they were the ones. The level of respect, knowledge and sincerity that you receive from everyone is unbeatable. They truly make you feel like family and want to make sure that they are providing the absolute best and excellent service they can provide. The experience you receive from the whole OneSound team is absolutely the best and unmatched. They made the whole wedding experience so easy and the least bit stressful. Steve was so well organized and knowledgeable that I knew everything would be covered for the night - and I was totally right! My husband and I joke around that we want to have another wedding, JUST to have OneSound dj again. From Steve’s amazing djing, to our energetic MC and percussionist - every step was thoroughly thought out, planned and executed to perfection! We also used Will for our videography and he made us feel so comfortable throughout the day! His work is absolutely beautiful. We had David for our photo booth and you cannot compete with his insane props! The whole team is seriously the best and all of my requests were met and dreams we’re exceeded! We wanted the whole night to be super upbeat and Steve’s djing did not disappoint! He had the whole party on the dance floor the entire night. The level of energy throughout my wedding was unreal - the mixture of music was even better than I could imagine! I couldn’t recommend OneSound more - they truly are the best group of people to have for your wedding! 10/10 would recommend!

If I could give One Sound and “The Wedding Place” 10 stars I would, in fact, I’d give them an infinite amount of stars. Our wedding day was perfect and we have One Sound to thank for that. The energy starts before the party even begins, when you meet with Steve and Anthony, you can feel that they want you to have the perfect day. From music planning, to much more, these guys are connected throughout the entire wedding world. Do you need ANYTHING? If you do, One Sound can get it for you, or at least point you in the right direction. Then… the day of the wedding? Perfect. Absolutely perfect, 10/10. Steve knows how to make this party yours, if you have any trepidation about music, or your party being generic, Steve and Anthony know exactly how to make the party feel unique from start to finish. Steve is an amazing MC who keeps the energy of the party moving the entire night and Anthony slays the music and keeps the entire party dancing from start to finish. Steve even forced us off the dance floor to have our food while it was hot! I cannot tell you how many people spoke to me after the wedding saying how amazing their crew was, from energy pumping music to the slow jams, everyone had an amazing time. If you are shopping around, you can stop now - book with One Sound, you will not regret it.

Highly recommend!! My wedding was last night and I am so happy and pleased with Anthony and Steve that I couldn’t wait to write a review. My wedding day was absolutely perfect and so much of that goes to them. They played and incorporated every song we wanted to hear. Steve has AMAZING energy and knows exactly how to get people on the dance floor and keep them dancing all night. I am beyond happy with my experience. I can’t thank them enough !

I left the DJ part to my husband and he naileeedddd it with One Sound. Anthony is a knowledgeable, energetic, extremely personable individual that put everyone at ease. Kershel, our MC, was out of this world. I’ve been to many, many occasions with DJs & MCs, but Kershel’s energy made the whole wedding. I cannot say enough great things about everyone.

One Sound was amazzziinnngggg. Anthony was so professional and knowledgeable. He was so easy to work with. No problems whatsoever. The MC we had was Kershel, and man....fire! He was out of control crazy good and got the whole crowd, from guests in their 80s to the toddlers going. Thanks guys for such a memorable wedding.

So we all know that planning a wedding is stressful. There are a million and one things to take into account and you can be sure that you’re going to forget something along the way. I can truly say that booking Steve and the One Sound team was the least stressful and best decision my wife and I could’ve made. We spoke to a few DJ’s on the phone before speaking to Steve and from our very first phone conversation we knew that we were going to book OneSound. He didn’t try to upsell us or push some package we didn’t want, he listened to our story, listened to the vision of the party we had in mind and took that all into consideration. From there we booked a sit down meeting with Steve and the rest of his team and if we weren’t sure before, we were positive from the meeting that they were the guys for us. The whole team are honestly such cool, down to earth guys that it didn’t feel like we were speaking to a vendor, but to a friend. Everything on our wedding day went EXACTLY to plan as we discussed with Steve. The photographer and videographer met us at the hotel on time; David the photo booth vendor met us at the venue exactly when he said he would, and Steve and Anthony were already setting up their DJ equipment before we arrived at the venue ( we got there like 2.5 hours early). They truly helped make our wedding the best day of our lives. The music was on point and Steve’s emcee skills are impeccable. He made sure the party was going all night long and that everything transitioned seamlessly. Our wedding was over a month ago and my family is still calling me to tell me how much fun they had. Please trust me, if you’re in the process of booking your wedding or party entertainment, the best decision you can make is booking the OneSound Team. We’re so grateful for everything they did for us. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could.

One Sound was fantastic and we are incredibly grateful with the team for such a wonderful night. This is the type of crew you want on your special day: Responsive, reliable and clever about everything they do. From day one, these guys were truly engaged and invested. On the day of, Anthony played great music, clearly reading our very mixed and complex audience; Steve was the best MC ever and really kept the party going; the photobooth was a total hit and the pictures turned out amazing; and Will and Alex were amazing with our photos and video. These guys are the best in town!

I enjoyed working with one sound! Stephen was very helpful to my husband and I with planning our wedding. He was super friendly and helped guide us to planning our lighting, music and video slide show. Stephen was also an amazing Emcee, my guest loved him! What's great about working with Stephen is that his company works with other talented vendors. I was able to work with Will at Castellanos cinema for videography and David from 321 photobooth. It cuts vendor searching and stress in half. I highly recommend One Sound, they can play any type of music. My guest was mostly from the Caribbean and they were able to execute an awesome playlist to get people up and moving on the dance floor!

Identifying music for our wedding was one of the most stressful parts of the event planning. We had a vision of 'the perfect dinner party' and the food and venue that we wanted were clear to us; however, we have a variety of musical interests and a limited music vocabulary. One Sound really cared about it. They are great listeners, have wonderful taste in music and are very professional. I can't say enough about them. They helped make my wedding perfect.

One Sound made our wedding day so much fun and we’ve gotten many compliments about the music and MC! Will (our MC) was awesome. He made sure the energy level stayed high throughout the night and kept people on the dance floor. Will continually engaged the crowd in a cool and charismatic manner. It was definitely not like those WWE announcer-type MCs that we’ve seen at other weddings! Anthony (our DJ) was our main contact person and he also did a great job. Anthony was excellent with communication and he created a flawless playlist for our special night. We loved every song he chose and it matched perfectly with the vibe we were going for. All of our friends told us the next morning that they had so much fun dancing and singing and didn’t want to leave! Thank you One Sound for making it an unforgettable night!!

Steve did a WONDERFUL job - he played exactly what we asked for, and when we asked for it. His setup was super elegant too AND he had lights to match the venue look and feel! I thought that was super unexpected and so cool! He had control of the crowd and yet, was not one bit imposing. We were absolutely thrilled and it was awesome to have him as part of our special day!

We had One Sound NYC DJ our wedding and they were great!! We have used them several times for gym events and personal parties so we knew when it came time to pick a DJ for our big day, One Sound was the way to go. Anthony was great! He met with us several times leading up to the big day to review everything and was very detailed oriented. He is very personable and you can tell he loves what he does. Anthony provided his opinion based on his experience which was definitely helpful. We had made a short list of songs that we would like played but overall trusted his judgment with what he filled the remaining time with. The selections kept everyone up dancing and enjoying themselves. I definitely recommend using them for any of your special events :) Thank you Anthony and group!

We had One Sound for our wedding on 09/30/18 and they were THE BEST EVER! We witnessed them in action at our friends' wedding in 2017 and we knew we had to book them for our wedding. Everything went seamlessly from our first meeting at their office to our last dance of the evening. Steve and Anthony were amazing. They both had our guests dancing all night! Everyone had a great time and our guests are still raving about how much fun they had at our wedding. Our wedding wouldn’t have been such a success without these guys. We will be forever grateful. We just had One Sound for our engagement party on 10.13.18 and they are AMAZING. Stephen is the absolute best and was so easy to work with. One Sound NYC Events did the after party for my wedding and we only have the most amazing things to say about them! They were extremely reliable, there to answer any and every question, and AWESOME. They listened to everything we discussed prior to the wedding and executed exactly how we wanted. Steve & Anthony did a FANTASTIC job at our Wedding!!! I would 100% recommend One Sound for your Wedding or Party. They did an AMAZING job at our engagement party & just WOWED us at the Wedding. THE BEST! I needed help picking songs and Stephen was able to help me perfectly. He guided me through the whole day and made me feel comfortable putting all the music and entertainment into his hands. My guests raved that I had amazing music and entertainment. I was on the dance floor the whole party. I wish it never ended. My husband isn't much of a dancer and danced the night away with me. We had a blast. Our guests had a blast. ONE SOUND is the BEST !

There aren’t enough positive words that I can say about the One Sound team. When I was looking for a DJ for my wedding I wanted to hire someone fresh, trendy, yet affordable. There’s a funny story on how we found this amazing crew. My now-husband and I had split up wedding tasks. He was looking for a photo booth person and I was looking for the DJ. When we’d established who we wanted to meet up with...it turned out our picks were business partners/best friends who worked at the same office! This serendipitous coincidence was a great omen because we hired them both! My fiancé and I met with our MC, Will—who killed it at our wedding, btw!- and there was an instant connection. Will was sweet, funny, and genuinely wanted to get to know the couple he was working with. I remember the first time we met, we bonded over our love of good food and he’d recommended this excellent spot in City Island. My now-husband and I went right after our meeting! The guys of One Sound were always professional and quick to respond to e-mails, which was important to us since my husband does event planning for a living. When we met Anthony, our DJ, he was also super sweet and open to hearing our likes and dislikes when it comes to music. He also did an ANAZING job keeping our guests on the dance floor! The crew also started breaking out their breakdancing moves and got the crowd going. Since we were a diverse group, it was important to me that the DJ play a variety of music to appeal to my Latino family,and American friends, and my new Italian family. These guys got it just right, and for that I highly recommend them. We love One Sound, Will, Anthony and would hire them all over again!! If you’re a couple looking for the perfect DJ, then look no further, these are your guys!!!

One sound not only took care of all our needs at the wedding, they skyped us for a meeting before the wedding to go over the schedule and timeline. They made me and my husband feel totally optimistic and wonderful on our special day. We had so much fun and made me and my family, which are too different races feel like one. One Sound gave us the Wedding we asked for, and more! Stephen and team were accommodating and paid attention to the details. The MC and help were awesome! They really bring the whole thing together. Worth it!!!

One Sound is an absolute MUST for any event! They provided the entertainment at my wedding this past weekend and they were probably one of my best decisions!! The crowd was up and dancing from start to finish and the music was absolutely amazing! It was more than I could have ever asked for! (and I made it VERY clear that the music and entertainment would be the most important element to my wedding, besides the food!) From our very first communications, One Sound were professional, prompt, and answered any and all questions quickly! I had Will for my MC, Anthony as our DJ, and Steve for lighting. What an incredible job they did! As a team, Will, Anthony, and Steve amped up the party and made sure everyone was having the best time! Will worked side by side with the Maitre' D as if they were lifelong friends. From weeks prior, Will had sent me a timeline and set the stage for how the party would run... and it couldn't have gone any smoother! He made sure that I knew that times were adjustable and made sure to include customary Jewish music into our wedding, per my request! To be honest, my husband and I weren't too sure of music choices for us to be introduced to, for the bridal party to come out to, or for father/daughter, mother/son dances. They gave us so many choices and helped us make easy decisions. We gave Anthony (DJ) some of our favorite song choices and allowed him to do his thing and pick all the other music. We asked for a variety of our favorites as well as other genres and music that the older crowd would enjoy too. We got this and even more!! Till this day, people are calling me to tell me how phenomenal the music was all night long! The uplighting also complimented our wedding perfectly all night long! You would be making a huge mistake by not choosing One Sound for your entertainment for any event!! They are professional, fun, and most definitely know how to get a party up and dancing from start to finish!!

I met Will at a wedding and got his info. Loved what I saw online so I went in with the mind set of booking Video and Photo but when I got there I met Steve from One Sound and David from 321 Photo Booth. So I ended up booking The Wedding Place package and took all 3. I have to say best decision I made. My wedding was amazing and it was due to how amazing they all work as a team. Thank you all for all your hard work on my Wedding Day.

I would have to say One Sound blew me away. The team at One sound is incredible, they listened and delivered. I had a special video request and they made it happen, which was such an awesome moment for my guests and I. Steve is fantastic, I texted and called him very frequently, and he was always there to ease my concerns or get me hyped up, he was just what a bride needed. The music was awesome and the vibes were great, a truly unforgettable night, thanks to the crew at one sound.

We actually had a band for our wedding and realized we needed to book a DJ to fill in the spaces! A friend recommended I call Steve. He was fantastic to speak with from the first conversation. We setup a time to meet and I met Will and Anthony. There were very understanding that the band was going to be featured and were happy to work with them. It turned out to be the perfect combination! They were such professionals and handled every special request that we had! We had a band, we had a singing dad, we had my dad's band play, they handled it all with ease! Everyone complimented the entertainment! We had so much fun and we can't thank Steve, Will and Anthony enough for helping make the day fantastic!!! In addition, at the last minute, my husband really wanted the amber lighting, it was no issue - the guys handled it!! That's what I love most about them - they are fun and professional. They made everything easy!!!! We would recommend them for any event!!!!

One Sound really work with their clients every stop of the way. They respond quickly and are extremely accommodating. I felt like we were all over the place with our tight schedule for that day. Will the MC worked with the Watermill caterers and our photographer to make sure everything was in sync. Not once did we have to worry or stress about the time line...and that was key. We enjoyed our wedding...every single bit of it. You will not regret hiring One Sound and their crew.

One Sound was amazing! They went above and beyond and I highly recommend them to anyone planning an important event. I booked them for my wedding this summer at the Olde Mill Inn and Grain House, and their energy and performance was absolutely incredible. I had a large wedding party with many entrances, speeche,s and lots of special requests and they delivered on all ends. Steven and Anthony took special care to address logistics and all of our questions way ahead of the big day. Because I had such a large wedding party I had to make some last minute changes and they were so flexible and easy to work with. They made lots of suggestions that were better than my original ideas and I am so happy I took their advice! On the day of, they showed up early and had everything set up way ahead of time. They were extremely professional and dressed in formal attire (very nice suits). They worked so well with the wedding coordinator and photographer (because they knew the choreography of our first dance they also knew the best time and angle for the best shots). It felt like Steven and Anthony were actually a part of our wedding party, because of how comfortable they made everyone feel. I recommended One Sound to a friend who has also booked them for her wedding. They were a pleasure to work with and go above and beyond with their service! 10 out of 10!

One Sound NYC really made every effort to make my wedding out of this world. I had seen them at work at two separate weddings for friends of mine and knew that I had to hire them for my own wedding. They were able to accommodate my destination wedding in Cancun, Mexico and provide a phenomenal DJ that rocked the party. They were extremely professional and were even able to get my older relatives up and dancing. Thanks to One Sound NYC I had the most memorable experience of my life.

We used One Sound for our wedding over a year ago. They were amazing. Steve was beyond incredible and has the best DJ voice. He guided us through the entire process and was very patient with us when we had a variety of music choices. Let me start by saying that I was truly blessed to have One Sound DJ my wedding. My friend recommended them to me and at first I was weary because they don't have many online reviews. All I can say is "WOW, it would have been a mistake NOT to book them". Steve guided us through the entire process. He created a timeline and walked us through the entire night. He introduced us to Anthony (the DJ) and Will (the MC) a few weeks before the party so we could feel comfortable with them on our wedding day. On the day of, they arrived 2 hours early to set up and by the time we got to the venue, it seemed like the Maitre d' and Will were long time friends. The both made sure the party ran smooth the whole night. Anthony is an amazing DJ. He knew exactly what to play and when to play it. My husbands best friend is a DJ and was very impressed. Will was the perfect MC. He was very professional and super energetic. My guests were having so much fun that they didn't want to leave the dance floor. The night was already going amazing, then all of a sudden Will and Anthony pulled out a Break-dancing routine. This absolutely blew the roof off the place and solidified our amazing experience. We interviewed other companies that were double the price and I don't think they can come close to how great One Sound was. I highly recommend this company and have already referred them to 3 other friends. Thank You One Sound for making my husband and I feel so special on our wedding day!

My husband and I chose One Sound to DJ our wedding and we knew from the beginning we were in good hands with Steve. We had the oppurtunity to hear them tear up the dance floor at a friend's wedding and thought they did a great job. Steve is very professional and easy to work with. His positive energy makes the process fun and enjoyable. He helped us create a timeline for our wedding reception and executed it seamlessly on wedding day. Steve and his team arrived well ahead of time to set up and make sure everything was in place. They provided tv screens, up-lighting and monogram lighting for our reception. Steve was also able to recommend a photobooth company that did a fantastic job as well. Steve and his emcee, Will, kept our guests entertained the entire night. Our guests danced the night away along with us. The One Sound crew was amazing and truly helped to make our wedding day perfect!
