. She is incredibly organized, kept every detail and every person on track with ease, and did it all with such warmth, kindness, and positivity. She truly is a bright light.
I am definitely not someone who was born to plan parties, so having Courtney to bounce ideas off of and guide us through the planning process took an enormous weight off my shoulders. She made every decision feel manageable and always made us feel confident that everything was under control.
On our wedding day, I never once felt stressed or overwhelmed. Every detail was executed flawlessly, and I was able to be completely present for every special moment instead of worrying about logistics. Seeing everything come together so beautifully was beyond anything we could have imagined, and that was all thanks to Courtney's incredible work behind the scenes.
I also want to mention our DJ Brian (who we were able to hire alongside Courtney in a contract together). He also deserves all the praises - there was not one moment where the dance floor wasn’t filled and he was SUCH a talented DJ. The online program he used to help compile our song requests was so easy to use and he was so engaging the entire time with our guests. Thank you Brian! We are so happy we trusted you as our DJ, all our family and friends raved about you.
Not to be confused with our amazing DJ - I also would love to recommend DJ Catering. Doug and Courtney have worked together for years and their teamwork was flawless. I had so many people tell us after the wedding that it was the best wedding food they have ever had, by far. And being able to rent all the tables etc through them made the process so simple.
Anyone looking for a wedding coordinator who is organized, professional, genuinely kind, and truly invested in making your day perfect, I cannot recommend Courtney and One Sweet Day Weddings & Events highly enough. She gave us the gift of being able to fully enjoy one of the best days of our lives, and for that we will always be grateful.

om the moment we first got on the phone with her to discuss our wedding to the day of. Courtney is highly detail oriented and nothing slips past her. We were able to meet with Courtney through phone calls, zoom calls and in person many times prior to the day of our wedding, and each meeting was focused and very productive while also being incredibly fun. Courtney helped us stay on top of communicating with all of our vendors and assisted the decision-making processes down to the smallest details, including carefully constructed timelines that we had well in advance that accounted for everything. The setup was exactly what we envisioned, and it all came together seamlessly. 1. Courtney is very organized. Her ability to digest the situation and execute with a natural flow made for a seamless month-of and day-of planning.
2. The attention to detail Courtney put into planning is amazing! Her experience and sharp eye really made us feel supported throughout the journey. Whether it be vendor questions or overlooking something in vendor contracts, Courtney made sure we were getting exactly what we wanted.
3. We love how she really took care of us on our wedding day. Courtney also showcased how dynamic her and her team were to ensure the event went smoothly. From our first meeting (just a month out from the wedding), she took full command of the planning process with professionalism, punctuality, and incredible attention to detail. As someone with a military background, I deeply appreciated how organized and efficient she was; everything was structured down to the minute, and nothing fell through the cracks.
Courtney made planning a wedding from across the country (we were in Virginia) feel stress-free and seamless. Her communication was clear, timely, and consistent throughout. She made sure everyone involved knew their roles and stayed on schedule, which made the day run smoothly from start to finish.
Our ceremony was at the Santa Barbara Courthouse with the reception at El Paseo Restaurant, and Courtney executed the transition between the two locations flawlessly. The decorations were beautiful, and every detail felt intentional and well thought out.
On the day of, Courtney brought two assistants who were also fantastic, both of them kept things moving behind the scenes without a hitch. From dealing with crazy and unpredictable weather (and taking our panicked phone calls about whether or not to rent a tent 5 days before the wedding), multiple unexpected changes to reception plans and wedding party details, and managing our lively 230 guests, Courtney was always on top of everything and so supportive!
Courtney also went above and beyond when with her incredible day-of schedule for us and our wild wedding party of 25 people. We technically hired Courtney for “reception only” coordination since the church we married in required us to use someone in-house, but that didn’t stop Courtney from laying out the perfect timeline for us to follow from the moment we woke up the morning of the wedding! She even made sure we had every single detail for the church ceremony accounted for, which really felt like going above and beyond the call of duty for us.

were getting married and wanted their wedding here in California, I realized that the vast majority of the planning would be on me. I was at a complete loss as to what to do, in what order to do it, and who to contact.
My very close friends had recently married, so I asked them for a referral to their coordinator and I reached out to Courtney. Even before I formally engaged her she was so helpful. She immediately sent me a list of referrals to all the different vendors I might need.
After discussions with Courtney we decided she would take on the planning and coordination duties at the 3 months prior mark. She gave me a schedule of all the vendors I’d need and when I should contact them to lock up the event date. I immediately locked in the venue, DJ, florist, & photographer. As we approached 90 days before the wedding, Courtney made arrangements to meet me at the venue. She was so organized. She went step by step through every moment of the proposed day. She asked about details that I never would have thought of. At that point I knew I had made the right choice.
As the wedding day approached, Courtney was on top of every detail. She had reached out to every vendor and coordinated with them and their needs and schedules.
The day and evening went off without a hitch. I never for one second had to think about who was doing what or if things were being taken care of. Courtney and her assistant had it all covered. Everything ran like clockwork and we all couldn’t have been more pleased.
