he helped us stay organized especially with tricky timelines and made sure nothing important was overlooked, which is so easy to do when you’re a busy bride and groom. We’re so grateful for everything she did to make our day so easy for us to enjoy!
I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Courtney and One Sweet Day Events. I had a very specific vision for how I wanted the entire weekend to feel, and Courtney understoo...
d it from the very beginning and made it happen.
I was definitely an “anti-bride” in the sense that I didn’t want our wedding to feel overly overly produced or like we were doing things simply because that’s what you’re “supposed” to do. I wanted it to feel like Santa Ynez…relaxed, romantic, effortless, and above all, SO much fun. Courtney was the person who knew how to actually bring all of those pieces together for what I envisioned and execute them perfectly.
What impressed me most was her ability to problem-solve and pivot. Not every idea works exactly as imagined once you get into the realities of a venue, vendors, timing, logistics, etc., and Courtney was incredible at finding another solution that still felt completely true to what I wanted. I never felt like I had to sacrifice the overall vision because something couldn’t work exactly as originally planned.
And then there was the wedding day itself. I was able to completely let go and be present because I knew Courtney had everything handled. Seeing everything we had talked about for months actually come to life was surreal. It felt completely like us…beautiful and romantic, thoughtful without feeling overdone, and genuinely FUN.
Courtney is organized, creative, calm, thoughtful, and INCREDIBLY good at what she does. She took the wedding I had in my head and made it real, and somehow made the process of getting there feel easy. I would choose her a million times over. 🤍

iliar with the wedding reception venue which was a plus. We have three daughters and I plan to hire her for all future weddings. I highly recommend Courtney and One Sweet Day!
Working with Courtney Haynes from One Sweet Day Weddings & Events was the best decision we made for our wedding. From start to finish, Courtney was an absolute delight to work with...
. She is incredibly organized, kept every detail and every person on track with ease, and did it all with such warmth, kindness, and positivity. She truly is a bright light.
I am definitely not someone who was born to plan parties, so having Courtney to bounce ideas off of and guide us through the planning process took an enormous weight off my shoulders. She made every decision feel manageable and always made us feel confident that everything was under control.
On our wedding day, I never once felt stressed or overwhelmed. Every detail was executed flawlessly, and I was able to be completely present for every special moment instead of worrying about logistics. Seeing everything come together so beautifully was beyond anything we could have imagined, and that was all thanks to Courtney's incredible work behind the scenes.
I also want to mention our DJ Brian (who we were able to hire alongside Courtney in a contract together). He also deserves all the praises - there was not one moment where the dance floor wasn’t filled and he was SUCH a talented DJ. The online program he used to help compile our song requests was so easy to use and he was so engaging the entire time with our guests. Thank you Brian! We are so happy we trusted you as our DJ, all our family and friends raved about you.
Not to be confused with our amazing DJ - I also would love to recommend DJ Catering. Doug and Courtney have worked together for years and their teamwork was flawless. I had so many people tell us after the wedding that it was the best wedding food they have ever had, by far. And being able to rent all the tables etc through them made the process so simple.
Anyone looking for a wedding coordinator who is organized, professional, genuinely kind, and truly invested in making your day perfect, I cannot recommend Courtney and One Sweet Day Weddings & Events highly enough. She gave us the gift of being able to fully enjoy one of the best days of our lives, and for that we will always be grateful.
P.S. Courtney thank you for being the most prepared person ever and sewing my button back on my dress mid wedding 😂 we love you! You are the best. Thank you so much for being part of our story.
Courtney was AMAZING!
I was a destination bride and she made everything so easy for me. I would 100% recommend her and wish I can redo my wedding day just to have her. My family ...

d passion for her work was evident. I have never worked with someone more responsive or helpful. She responded to each of our emails with sincerely impressive timeliness, and had many amazing vendor recommendations.
In the run-up to the wedding, Courtney dedicated so much of her time to our in person meetings. We were amazed by her detail oriented yet calm and reassuring nature. She even learned many of our family and bridal party names as just one example of her dedication. Every detail of the wedding was thought of by Courtney and we truly felt like she was "on our team".
On the day of the wedding, Courtney and her assistant were kind, helpful, and fun to be around. They seamlessly executed every detail while working with our venue and other vendors with ease. It was notable how Courtney was there for us whenever we needed her throughout the day, but also coordinated behind the scenes in a way that allowed us as the bride and groom to truly enjoy every moment of the day without worry.
I cannot recommend One Sweet Day Events enough, if you are searching for wedding planning or coordination you need not look any further!

cess from the very beginning. Her organization, attention to detail, and calm, confident presence made such a difference during what could have been a stressful time.
On the day of the wedding, she was my absolute go-to for everything. I didn’t have to worry about a single detail…Courtney had it all covered. From coordinating vendors to keeping the timeline running smoothly, she made sure everything flowed perfectly. She anticipated needs before I even had to ask and handled any little hiccups behind the scenes without me ever knowing.
Because of Courtney, I was able to be fully present and actually enjoy every moment of my day. She went above and beyond in every way and truly made my wedding feel effortless and perfect. I can’t recommend her enough! 💕

om the moment we first got on the phone with her to discuss our wedding to the day of. Courtney is highly detail oriented and nothing slips past her. We were able to meet with Courtney through phone calls, zoom calls and in person many times prior to the day of our wedding, and each meeting was focused and very productive while also being incredibly fun. Courtney helped us stay on top of communicating with all of our vendors and assisted the decision-making processes down to the smallest details, including carefully constructed timelines that we had well in advance that accounted for everything. The setup was exactly what we envisioned, and it all came together seamlessly. When the day finally arrived, Courtney was there to make sure everything went off without a hitch, and she kept us calm, centered and most importantly made sure us and our families enjoyed the day without a care in the world. We love Courtney and would recommend her to literally everyone!

axed. Courtney is amazingly organized throughout the entire process. We never had an ounce of fear that our day wouldn't run smoothly because Courtney was so on top of everything.
On the day of, she did all hard stuff so me and my wife didn't have to worry for a single moment. We got so many comments from people in our wedding party and from both of our families on how great Courtney was at her job. One Sweet Day is worth every single penny and I'm so happy we found Courtney. Our wedding ended up being absolutely perfect and One Sweet Day is one of the main reasons why.

ecommended Courtney and she exceeded our expectations. Thank you so much for the incredible experiences, Courtney!
A few noteworthy highlights we’ve had working with One Sweet Day:
1. Courtney is very organized. Her ability to digest the situation and execute with a natural flow made for a seamless month-of and day-of planning.
2. The attention to detail Courtney put into planning is amazing! Her experience and sharp eye really made us feel supported throughout the journey. Whether it be vendor questions or overlooking something in vendor contracts, Courtney made sure we were getting exactly what we wanted.
3. We love how she really took care of us on our wedding day. Courtney also showcased how dynamic her and her team were to ensure the event went smoothly. Even when our timelines shifted and had to adjust to get sunset photos, we were able to accomplish everything we planned with plenty of time to relish in the moments
4. Courtney’s initiative is unmatched. When we started planning together, she was quick to get up to speed with our venue and vendors. She reached out and established lines of communication and got right to work to make sure the details were correct.
We can thankfully say we had no challenges or issues working with Courtney. We were transparent through the whole experience and we seemed to by in sync with many of the challenges we came across. She is an absolute pleasure to work with and an amazing human being. It was truly One Sweet Day!
Santa Barbara Courthouse & El Paseo Restaurant.
Timely. Professional. Caring. Thoughtful. Reliable. Would recommend to my family.
We had the absolute best experience working with ...
Courtney from One Sweet Day Events. From our first meeting (just a month out from the wedding), she took full command of the planning process with professionalism, punctuality, and incredible attention to detail. As someone with a military background, I deeply appreciated how organized and efficient she was; everything was structured down to the minute, and nothing fell through the cracks.
Courtney made planning a wedding from across the country (we were in Virginia) feel stress-free and seamless. Her communication was clear, timely, and consistent throughout. She made sure everyone involved knew their roles and stayed on schedule, which made the day run smoothly from start to finish.
Our ceremony was at the Santa Barbara Courthouse with the reception at El Paseo Restaurant, and Courtney executed the transition between the two locations flawlessly. The decorations were beautiful, and every detail felt intentional and well thought out.
On the day of, Courtney brought two assistants who were also fantastic, both of them kept things moving behind the scenes without a hitch. She made sure we were well fed and had drinks in hand before our grand entrance, and even had champagne waiting at our table when we arrived. Having her at our rehearsal, while not always part of her package, made a huge difference in keeping everyone confident and prepared.
If you’re looking for someone who’s calm, sharp, and truly dedicated to your day going perfectly, Courtney’s your person.

e Spanish Hills Club in Camarillo, CA. From the moment we started working with her, it was clear how detail-oriented, organized, and professional she is.
No detail was too small for her to notice, and her careful planning and our entire day run smoothly and stress-free.
Courtney kept us on track, handled the timeline flawlessly, and coordinated with all our vendors so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Thanks to her, David and I and our family were able to fully enjoy our day knowing everything was in great hands.
We highly recommend Courtney to any couple looking for a coordinator who is truly exceptional.
Thank you so much, Courtney!

le all the moving parts and vendors. Courtney came on board just 4 weeks before the big day (and still graciously answered our frantic questions even before that!), and from that moment on, everything changed for the better.
She took the reins in the most incredible way – stepping in with calm confidence and a clear vision. Courtney helped us navigate some of the trickier decisions, made us feel so much more at ease, and truly allowed us to enjoy the lead-up to our wedding instead of stressing over every little detail.
The day-of execution was flawless – so many members of our bridal party and guests came up to us after to say how impressed they were by her. She kept things running smoothly behind the scenes so we could focus on celebrating with our loved ones. It’s no exaggeration to say the day would not have been the same without Courtney.
She came highly recommended to us, and now we absolutely understand why – she goes above and beyond for her clients and is worth her weight in gold. We are forever grateful to have had her by our side!

d support. Although I initially booked her services for just the final three months of planning, Courtney went above and beyond, offering assistance well before the official start of her contract. She truly understood my vision and worked tirelessly to bring it to life, ensuring every detail aligned with *my* dream (and my husband’s), not anyone else’s. Her organization and preparedness were top-notch, and it was clear that she genuinely cared about making our day perfect. Thanks to Courtney, everything went smoothly, and the day was beyond what I could have imagined. I miss chatting with her already — if you're considering a wedding coordinator, don't hesitate to hire Courtney! She truly is the best!

verything went exactly how we could have imagined it. Courtney's care, patience, and attention to detail are absolutely remarkable. I am a very high strung, Type A person (which magnified itself during my bridal era), and it can be hard for me to relinquish control. Courtney understood my perspective in every situation and always reassured me. I didn't have to wait for things to be brought to her attention--she just went ahead and took care of them. I am sad the day is over because I want to have more opportunities to spend time with Courtney. I would recommend her to any bride who wants a seamless wedding day.

call with her, she was patient and knowledgeable, walking us through her process and how we’d be working together. Her experience coordinating so many weddings at our venue, Spanish Hills, made us feel confident that she’d be able to help us pull off a smooth and amazing wedding. She was super responsive with all of our questions and changes, whether through email, text, or phone. She gave great recommendations but was always sure to ask us what we wanted and to ensure it fit our vision. We had a large wedding party, and she was able to run a great rehearsal the day before to ensure everyone knew their roles and what to do. On the wedding day, she was running with everything we had talked through so we could be fully present and enjoy our day. We couldn’t have asked for a better coordinator and partner in this once in a lifetime process! Thank you so much Courtney!

There are many things that pop up during the planning process and if it weren't for Courtney I would not have known what to do. On my wedding day I felt so relaxed and did not have to think at all. Everything was taken care of and I was able to enjoy every second of my special day. Courtney is truly an amazing women and such a boss I can't thank her enough for all her help.

On the big day, she was a great partner to me (the Bride), keeping things less stressful for my husband and I. She answered every text or email from us very promptly, and was great about thinking about everything, so that we didn't have to. One of the standout qualities is her thoroughness. She provided us with templates and checklists that ensured we accounted for every detail, leaving no room for oversight. This attention to detail was instrumental in making our wedding day go smoothly, as we were well-prepared.
Courtney and her team were friendly and welcoming. They not only worked tirelessly behind the scenes to orchestrate everything seamlessly but also made us feel supported and cared for throughout the process. She made our wedding day a stress-free and memorable experience for not only us but also our families. n you hire her, Courtney is worth that and more. She is the most kind human I have ever met but she also gets the job done when the time comes to be a little strict. She played bodyguard for us so we could eat and use the restroom just to name a few things. Courtney was so very on top of everything with all of our vendors from day one of coordination. I actually don’t know how we would have done it without her. Everything went so perfectly smoothly which would not have been the case without Cortney’s help. From coordinating vendors to make sure they were all where they needed to be at the right time with the right equipment to making a super detailed timeline for the day of the wedding, she excels at what she does. And she will make you feel like you are her best friend along the way. Courtney’s assistant coordinator for the day of our wedding was Betsy and she is just as lovely and kind as Courtney herself. I cannot recommend this team enough.

ur venue was lacking communication and went above and beyond her duties to get us the answers we needed to move along our planning in a very relaxed manner. I’ve never met someone so organized and so detailed oriented! She really knows her stuff and has amazing vendor recommendations! I tell everyone if you need anything for your wedding you need Courtney! 10/10 recommend!!
Her assitant Betsy also helped hold it on the day of and she was so sweet and very efficient!
We feel so unbelievably lucky to have worked with Courtney and her team at One Sweet Day Events for our wedding day! From the very beginning, communication with Courtney was prompt...
and professional, yet so genuinely warm and friendly. It felt like working with a friend rather than another wedding vendor. “Day of coordinator” doesn’t feel like an accurate depiction of how much work Courtney did for us! From our initial sit down meeting, coordinating what seemed like endless emails, and the massive amount of work getting everything and everyone ready on the day of the wedding, Courtney felt more like the best friend / personal assistant we wish we had running our everyday lives! From dealing with crazy and unpredictable weather (and taking our panicked phone calls about whether or not to rent a tent 5 days before the wedding), multiple unexpected changes to reception plans and wedding party details, and managing our lively 230 guests, Courtney was always on top of everything and so supportive!
Courtney also went above and beyond when with her incredible day-of schedule for us and our wild wedding party of 25 people. We technically hired Courtney for “reception only” coordination since the church we married in required us to use someone in-house, but that didn’t stop Courtney from laying out the perfect timeline for us to follow from the moment we woke up the morning of the wedding! She even made sure we had every single detail for the church ceremony accounted for, which really felt like going above and beyond the call of duty for us.
OH! Another clutch move - with Courtney standing by our table as a fierce body guard during dinner at the reception, we were actually able to eat in peace! We could go on and on, but really, there are not enough words to express our gratitude for Courtney and her entire team. Weddings are expensive, but we truly feel that hiring One Sweet Day Events was hands down the best money we spent on our big day!
I was so lucky to have been referred to Courtney and One Sweet Day Weddings and Events. When my daughter and her fiancé who live on the opposite side of the country announced they...
were getting married and wanted their wedding here in California, I realized that the vast majority of the planning would be on me. I was at a complete loss as to what to do, in what order to do it, and who to contact.
My very close friends had recently married, so I asked them for a referral to their coordinator and I reached out to Courtney. Even before I formally engaged her she was so helpful. She immediately sent me a list of referrals to all the different vendors I might need.
After discussions with Courtney we decided she would take on the planning and coordination duties at the 3 months prior mark. She gave me a schedule of all the vendors I’d need and when I should contact them to lock up the event date. I immediately locked in the venue, DJ, florist, & photographer. As we approached 90 days before the wedding, Courtney made arrangements to meet me at the venue. She was so organized. She went step by step through every moment of the proposed day. She asked about details that I never would have thought of. At that point I knew I had made the right choice.
As the wedding day approached, Courtney was on top of every detail. She had reached out to every vendor and coordinated with them and their needs and schedules.
The day and evening went off without a hitch. I never for one second had to think about who was doing what or if things were being taken care of. Courtney and her assistant had it all covered. Everything ran like clockwork and we all couldn’t have been more pleased.
If you’re looking for a coordinator that will literally think of everything and pull it all together seamlessly, Courtney and One Sweet Day are for you!
Thank you Courtney, we couldn’t have done it without you.
Our experience working with Courtney as our wedding coordinator exceeded our expectations in every way. From our very first email exchange, her warmth, care, responsive, resourcefu...
lness, efficiency and proficiency were clear and reassuring. She helped us connect with so many amazing vendors and in the lead up to the wedding she made sure that no detail was overlooked. She thought of everything and made our role in the planning both easy and fun. She also responds to emails extremely quickly, which was so helpful.
On the day of the wedding, despite the weather conditions changing hourly, I didn't have an ounce of worry as I knew things were in Courtney's capable hands. My partner and I got to relax and take in the beauty of the day, all while Courtney executed all the behind the scenes magic. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for an extremely organized, thoughtful, joyous and capable wedding planner.
