About this vendor
Oneg is the ultimate destination for exquisite Jewish ritual and design items that elevate shabbat, holidays, and special moments. Oneg invites you and your loved ones to pause and take a step back from the hustle and bustle of life in the modern world and experience the beautifully calming influence of the ancient tradition of Shabbat.
Shabbat isn’t prescriptive; it’s about giving the gift of time where technology isn’t required to feel fully present and connected. All that is needed are moments to share with the people you love and beautiful ritual objects to guide the experience.
Oneg invites celebration of special occasions with intention. The Oneg thoughtfully curated Shabbat Boxes include user-friendly guidebooks to help better understand the rituals and blessings of Shabbat, conversation cards inspired by the Torah, a beautifully embroidered challah cover, a handmade kiddush cup, lovely wooden candlesticks, wax candles, artisan designed matches, and a specially crafted gift box. You can also purchase items individually or in bundles and we offer limited edition gifts like our Jewish Star of David Pendants or unique color waves of products.
What is Shabbat?
Shabbat, the seventh day of the week, is a revered day of rest in the Jewish tradition. It commences shortly before sunset on Friday and concludes after sundown on Saturday, typically signaled by the appearance of three stars in the night sky. Shabbat represents a 25-hour period dedicated to rest and spiritual reflection, offering a break from work and technology.
What if we’re not that observant?
Shabbat is for everyone. Whether you are very observant, “Jew-ish” or not Jewish at all, we invite you to celebrate Shabbat with us. Our tools and Shabbat Guidebooks are designed specifically to help educate and include everyone in an ancient mindfulness practice weekly. A welcomed unplug respite.
This seems like a great gift!
We agree! Elevating tradition during the holidays, observing shabbat with family, or as a decorative centerpiece in your home for special moments, Oneg is the gift that keeps on giving.

The Oneg Shabbat Box that we received for our wedding is the most special gift. All of the pieces in the box are so beautifully crafted and we love the natural and earthy tones. ...
The conversation cards are fun and engaging when we have our friends and family over for Shabbat. I’m so excited to gift this to my friends as well - such a special gift for any occasion.
I just bought my best friend the Shabbat Box with black candlesticks and a blue challah cover as part of her wedding gift and she’s obsessed… so much so that her candlesticks have ...
become a permanent fixture on her sideboard in her dining room.
She also told me she’s been using the weekly convo cards as a new tradition with her husband and finds it’s such a nice way to connect after a busy week. (She even bought herself the brass convo card stand!)
Can’t wait to buy for other friends.

l items and conversation cards is the exact thing we've been craving to up our Shabbat game.
The details and design of each item is gorgeous and I can tell that a lot of thought went into making this a special gift for us. Each piece is something I would have chosen for myself and our more modern aesthetic at home. I still love my family heirlooms but these Shabbat candlesticks and more feel like we're hosting Shabbat in our own vibe and with our own style. on this thing are insane, and you can tell they put a lot of love into crafting it.
I will definitely be ordering a gift like this from Oneg to pay this forward to another friend getting married. My husband and I love that this box has high quality products that we can put on our table to really elevate Shabbat with our best people. Also, the box itself is super high quality and makes it really easy to pack up Shabbat after-the-fact and then reach for the box again the following week.
Long story short, I'm seriously obsessed with my Oneg Shabbat Box. It brings such a classy vibe to our Shabbat celebrations, and I'm all about that. If you're on the lookout for some gorgeous Judaica that's both meaningful and stylish, definitely check out this Shabbat box and the smaller gift sets and pieces that Oneg has to offer!
