e cake. David is very well organized, and everything about the day that needs music, a microphone, or MC-ing he has detailed in a planning document. If you need suggestions for music or if you have general questions about how something should work, he has excellent recommendations. He really sold us with examples of what he's done for other weddings and events, giving us tips on what order makes sense to help ensure the flow of events made sense. And the wedding was absolute perfection! He had mic'd up our officiant, my husband, and myself, and everyone heard us perfectly during the ceremony. The dinner and reception music was spot on - we had specific requests in there, and he catered the rest to match our music preferences perfectly. He also helped decorate the venue with uplighting and it looked fantastic! David made planning a breeze by being so organized and having answers to all of our questions, or helpful suggestions when we didn't have answers. He absolutely delivered, ensuring we had a perfect and beautiful ceremony, and making sure we and all of our guests had one hell of a night. We stayed in contact in the months leading up to the wedding and I felt very comfortable asking him questions not just about the music, but also about the wedding and how the time line should go. He worked closely with our photographer and day-of coordinator to ensure everything went perfectly and he even came to the rehearsal to plan out where he would set up his equipment. On the day of the wedding he was one of the first people there and he even helped us with getting a tapestry in the tree. He mic'ed me up for the ceremony, a small wireless mic that went in my jacket pocket, and recorded the whole thing. The music was perfect and the announcements and transitions went very smoothly. After the wedding, he emailed us the audio from the ceremony, a song I performed with my mom, and the speeches. You can tell that David takes his job very seriously and it really showed. Super professional, super reliable, and all around great dude. Highly recommend. We couldn't be happier with OneKnightDJ.

He also did a great job rolling with the punches, when he found out that we had made last minute changes to the processional, just the night before (during rehearsal). His cocktail hour and dinner selection was also great. It all falls apart during the reception. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the reception music. I had given him a list of songs that I really wanted to hear on my wedding night. These were songs that for 18months of planning, I had envisioned dancing to with my new husband. Those songs had real meaning to me. Not just another wedding dance party. I gave him freedom to use that list, and mix the songs as he pleased. Perhaps I wasn't clear enough about the importance of those songs. But in the end, I didn't enjoy the night of dancing nearly as much as I'd hoped, and as the bride, my mind was so preoccupied that I didn't even realize what was happening. All I knew is that I wasn't having fun. So, as much as I loved my ceremony, I didn't love my reception. It breaks my heart because I had built it up so much in my head, as any bride will do. In conclusion, he is a very nice guy, and a pleasure to work with. I'm just not sure what went wrong at my event. And it's of course the biggest, and most important event I plan to ever host.

ng we’re having and put a deposit down. He then gave us a complete packet and song/genre choices for everything in the wedding that we could just fill out and send back to him and be ready to go. I asked him how many hours/how late he stays when we booked him to which he pretty much replied “Until the wedding is over.” We sent him back the completed packet two weeks before the wedding at which point he set up one last meeting with us to go over the packet and make sure everything is completely nailed down and ready to go with us and go over everything he would be taking care of on the day of. He was also very accommodating, between the last meeting we had and the wedding I had a couple last minute additions I sent him and he said he’d add them in no problem at all. Now on the actually wedding day he was amazing. He showed up hours before the ceremony to make sure everything was totally set up and ready to go. The ceremony went perfectly and then it was time for family/bridal party pictures. The wedding was outside and it was a HOT day and my fiancé and I were getting worn out quick, especially in my big dress. David was going back and forth between the DJ booth and where we were to check on us and bring us water bottles to make sure we were doing OK in the heat. He pretty played DJ + Wedding Coordinator all night. He coordinated with other vendors before announcing each event to make sure everybody was ready to go and on the same page. When it came time for dinner he excused each table for us to the buffet line to ensure everything flowed smoothly. And as promised he was there all night until the party had died down. We’re so appreciative of everything he did that day and would hire him in a heartbeat if we went back and did it all again.

Greg is a friendly guy who made my 7 1/2 year old Flower girl cousin feel at home and kept the conversation going with my grandma as well as all the guests. I'd recommend him to anyone. Great man who is a professional but still knows how to laugh when it's time. All of our guests loved him and that's hard to do with all the different personalities that attended my wedding. Music was spot on and the MC stuff was funny and kept dinner entertaining. Greg loved my theme and made sure to let me know this and that just added to making my wedding feel special. If you can, book Greg. You won't be disappointed. btw he comes with the Monte Cristo Venue as their DJ so I had to put a number on the Total Cost but his basic package is with the venue.

nd my husband came up with the idea of using Disney music while the entire wedding party walked down the aisle. I love Disney and it made the ceremony even more special and unique to me. He went out of his way to download Disney music for me, which I greatly appreciated. He was also a very good DJ and all I remember was dancing all night long. He was able to read the crowd and play the right song at the right time to ramp up the energy. It was such a magical night, and we all had a great time.
