I would NOT suggest booking your hair and/or makeup with Brooke. I read the reviews and several people made comments on her responsiveness. I did not listen and I REGRET it! I am a...
persistent person, so I figured no big deal. After all is said and done, there is enough going on during your wedding - having to email, call, and text several times to get an answer just adds to the stress. Don’t do it!
Besides this fact, she doesn’t follow her own contract. I moved my wedding from 2020 to 2021. Minus the “covid cleaning fee” it specifically stated we’d stick to 2020 prices, which she did not.
The artists did a good job. I think my makeup looked great! However they were 15 minutes late and we got behind schedule. Two of the bridesmaid had to get their eyelashes glued back on before they left and I had to redo one of mine after the ceremony cause it was halfway off. We had to re-curl the bridesmaid’s hair after photos/before the ceremony because it was coming out. Out of all the vendors, OnSite Beauty by Brooke was the only one I was unhappy with and wish I could have gone with someone else.
Brooke did an AMAZING job with my hair and makeup on my wedding day. She brought two other artists with her that also did a great job with my bridesmaids, MOG, and MOB. I love how ...
my whole look came together. I wanted to have my hair up and out of the way but still show off my curls. I also wanted to make my eyes look big. She knew exactly what I was going for and delivered. Like many brides, I was sweating every little detail and wanted all of it to be perfect. Brooke was patient and kind the whole way through. She happily redid my braid and tweaked my eye makeup whenever I asked and didn't show a single sign of going nuts over my micromanaging :) She is AWESOME.
My mom was super nervous and Brooke arranged a trial for her the same day as me and made sure we both had the same makeup and hair artist for the big day. Having that support made the whole day a lot less stressful.
The biggest reason why I chose Brooke is because she didn't give me that "conveyor belt bride" feeling I got with all the other large onsite hair and makeup companies I was considering. I developed a rapport with her over weddingwire and phone calls and she immediately earned my trust. Everyone looked amazing. Thank you Brooke!

Let's start with the good- the day of, everyone was on time and everyone's hair and makeup looked amazing. We finished on time and I couldn't have been happier with how everyone lo...
oked. When I first contacted Brooke she was super responsive. I don't believe that the things that were problems for me will be problems for other people because everything that went wrong has a reasonable explanation- it just so happened that a lot of things went wrong for me. We had scheduled a trial for my mom and we get there and no one is there- Brooke called and she was really sick and forgot she had an appointment that day. She was apologetic and comped us my mom's trial which was really nice, but we still weren't off to a great start. As we got closer to the wedding, her responsiveness slowed. There were two instances where I went 10 days without a response. The second time this happened, she had gone into early labor and obviously could not have emailed me back. Again, understandable, but as a business owner, it is important that you have emergency plans in place especially because pregnancies are unpredictable. After that, we had scheduled a trial for my sister who is in a wheelchair. Before I booked Brooke, I made it clear that my sister was in a wheelchair and would need special accommodations. When we got to the studio for her trial, there was no wheelchair ramp. The girls who were there to do the trial said that Brooke had reminded us to bring our own ramp since the studio was wheelchair accessible. This was not the case. Luckily, I had a tiny ramp in the car and the girls were super resourceful and scrounged around for plywood in the back so that my sister could get in. When I contacted Brooke about the snafu, she said that she thought I knew about the accessibility since I had been there before with my mom so she decided not to say anything. That is a valid point, I had been there before, but the parking lot did have a wheelchair parking spot and I assumed that there was another entrance besides the one we went in that was accessible. I also could have double checked with her before we came, but again, as a business providing a service, it is their job to make sure that they don't add anything to their customers plate. I send reminder emails to my clients all the time, I remind them to bring things to their session, etc. It is my job to make their lives easier. As the client, I shouldn't be doing the reminding. Also, in this case, a reminder wouldn't have been enough- Brooke assumed that I had a ramp that would be tall enough to get us in to the studio. As soon as I scheduled a trial for my sister, she should have asked if I thought the studio would be accessible to her. I had also sent her a few pictures of what I wanted, but the girls didn't have those references. When I asked, she said she normally doesn't share that with the artists. I wished she had told me that when I sent her the images- I thought I was being productive, but I had to say what I wanted all over again. The last thing was that at the very last minute, Brooke told me that one of the girls had quit. The point of having a trial is partly so your artist can practice on you and see what works. Luckily, Brooke is talented so the day of was fine. Overall, it was a stressful experience for me. I felt like I had to do a lot more work than I should and even though the end results were great, these miscommunications did seem to effect the energy of Brooke and her artist on the day
Owner was great, but went into labor night before the wedding, no big deal she is sending other girls for hair and makeup. Unfortunately, I don’t remember their names but the make ...
up was so so. Eyes looked good on everyone but the foundation was way too light in coloring for everyone. The hair girl was awful, very rude and unprofessional, made my maid of honors hair look like a slicked back helmet and was snappy when I asked her to redo some of the girls hair because it was falling out. The make up girl did my hair and it looked good. The make up touch up kit was not left and she left the venue before doing our lipstick. Wish I went with someone else.
Onsite Beauty by Brooke did an amazing job for my wedding! Our stylist was Aleana and she made all the bridesmaids, mother of the bride, and bride (me) look the very best versions...
of ourselves. Aleana enhanced all of our natural beauty; we didn’t look overdone or look like we had too much makeup on. She made us look and feel beautiful and was able to do each hairstyle requested. Aleana arrived on time for the big day and made everything super easy; she made our photographer extra happy by finishing over an hour early. I was planning my wedding outside of Washington State and Onsite Beauty by Brooke made time to see me when I was in town and made the planning process super simple. The team was very respectful of my budget and needs. I was blown away with how professional Aleana was at our initial meeting (she was able to meet with me even with a very last minute request). I would highly recommend Onsite Beauty by Brooke for all your beauty needs.
I met with Brooke to do a trial run and she got my hair and make up on point in the first try! On the day of she was very responsive to what I wanted and took time to help me figur...
e out small tweaks until it was perfect. I felt beautiful and the hair/make up was done in a reasonable time. She was a bit hard to get a hold of during the scheduling process as she had some things come up personally, but she came through in the end. She spent some minutes styling my mom's hair which turned out nicely. Although we discussed that part of it multiple times, she did not tell me she would charge me an additional $50 for this part of the service. It would have been nice to know that ahead of time. Overall I had a very pleasant experience and she helped me achieve the look I hoped for. I got many, many compliments on my hair!
I'll agree with a few of the other commenters that she was hard to get ahold of at times, but she followed through with my appointment and she did a fantastic job with my hair and ...
makeup for my wedding. I felt a little awkward because she was very very quiet while I tried to make conversation, but that could just be a personality mismatch. Nothing against her.

I would advise those of you who might be considering to use this woman for your special day to NOT be foolish enough to hire her--that is unless you want to have undue stress to wh...
at is already a stressful day as is! SHE IS UNRELIABLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL! Please don't let her intial friendliness and responsiveness fool you into booking her! Unfortunately I fell victim to this especially since all the supposed "great reviews" she had on Thumbtack, but now I even question the validity of these reviews. She was initially very responsive even through the weekends, but the as soon as she sent me a copy of the contract and collected my deposit, she immediately went "dark" and went from almost immediate response to 2-3 days to now 2 weeks! She didn't include in the contract all the things we agreed upon, so luckily I had read through the contract and proceeded to cross off and make changes to the elements that I needed her to correct. So the fact that she didn't honor in the contract what she said she would do, that was a bit fishy as is. Yet when I sent her the contract with the corrections and asked that she send me a copy back with her signature and initials once she reviewed the corrections, to confirm mutual acceptance of the terms, she told me she would get it to me right away, but that never happened. TWO weeks later and still nothing. When I finally got a response from her, it was her unapologetically telling me that she was really busy and that she'd get it back to me in a couple days---yet that did not happen. When I followed up again, she gave me sass and said that she wa a busy attending to her clients and that "I would want the same level of attention on my special day and not have her respond to emails and messages." This is not the way to handle your lack of follow through. Busy or not, she was the one that set the expectations of when she will provide the contract but needed up not following through what she said she would do--which is a very big indicator of how she is as a professional. When you hire a professional for your special day, you're not only hiring them for their service, but also the level of TRUST and peace of mind that they won't screw up your wedding--something that is a once in a lifetime event that can't be redone if the day is screwed. So if I can't rely on her to say what she will do and do what she say, then how do I trust that she won't do the same on my actual wedding day??? Needless to say, because of her unapologetic response that had a lot of sass and no accountability on her end, I requested my deposit back but she refused. She tried to claim that this was non-refundable per the contract, but what she failed to realize is that the contract is null and void if I had given her a counteroffer through my corrections on there and she not providing a reciprocal signed acknowledgement, then I can revoke my offer. I have a lot of lawyer friends and they have advised me as such, so I hope she would come her senses and refund me my deposit that she is now illegally withholding. Otherwise I will take her to court. Unfortunately it has come to this, but this is why I highly suggest you not hiring this woman unless you want to run into the risk of unnecessary stress and possibility of screwing up your wedding altogether.
Brooke saved my day! I had booked another makeup artist but just after my rehearsal I got a call that she was headed to the hospital. I scrambled to find someone to fill in and B...
rooke was somehow able to fit me in! I can't believe I was able get someone so well reviewed with such short notice. She was really on top of the scheduling communicating and I was able to rest assured that she had me covered. I didn't have a large party, and we all were doing make up only. She came and did make up for me, my maid of honor and the moms of the bride and groom. We didn't have a practice session (timing!) but she was so easy to talk to and completely open to input. Last minute scramble stress aside I am so glad that I was able to get makeup done with Brooke! Would book her again in a heartbeat.
