We cannot say enough wonderful things about Onteora Mountain House and the incredible team behind it, especially Jeremy and Dylan. Our wedding weekend was nothing short of magical, and a significant part of that is due to the venue's stunning beauty and the exceptional service we received.
The pictures simply don't do this place justice. The venue is breathtaking, offering a perfect blend of luxury and rustic charm. The outdoor spaces are simply stunning, providing a picturesque backdrop for our ceremony and reception.
Jeremy was incredibly accommodating and flexible throughout the entire planning process. He was always quick to respond to our questions and concerns, and he went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing weekend. The vendors were also very happy to work with the venue team, as they were so attentive and helpful.
Dylan and the rest of the team at Onteora Mountain House were attentive and professional throughout the entire weekend. They anticipated our needs and went out of their way to make sure everything ran smoothly. We felt truly pampered and taken care of.
If you're looking for a luxury event space with a beautiful, rustic outdoor setting and amazingly attentive staff, we highly recommend Onteora Mountain House. We wouldn't change a thing about our experience there.
Our absolute dream venue! Not only is the location stunning (with PLENTY of areas for our guests and us to take scenic pictures), but Jeremy and Dylan could not have been more amazing - working with them has been a highlight of the wedding planning process. They are so helpful, providing a bunch of resources including a short book customized to the venue. Their mindset is also very much of a “how can we make this work” vs. “no we cannot do it” when it comes to creative ideas or add-on’s for our wedding. Jeremy is also extremely organized, prompt to respond and has a very upbeat and professional attitude throughout the entire process. The venue’s regular vs “rain plan” options were also very compelling to the point where we weren’t concerned about what the weather looked like two weeks in advance - we were excited about both options! In addition, the food provided by Blue Mountain Catering was spectacular and we received many compliments from our guests on the day of and after the wedding! The menu trial day was also one of the most fun days that we had! It’s no wonder that Onteora Mountain House has been a beloved venue for decades! The service and team could not have been more polite and attentive. Finally, we loved the option of being able to stay on site with our family and friends. It really made the wedding weekend feel like a getaway weekend and was a massive leg-up when it came to coordinating the day before and the day of. The breakfast they serve is also delicious. You can’t go wrong choosing Onteora! Photos are credited to Alicia King Photography (https://aliciakingphotography.com/) with the exception of the last 3 photos.
Onteora Mountain House was everything we dreamed of and more out of our wedding venue! The moment we saw it, we knew it was perfect—a beautiful blend of a formal event space with a touch of rustic charm. Jeremy, Dylan and the entire staff were incredible, taking care of every detail and making sure we and our families felt at home. The on-site hotel rooms were perfect for our immediate family, and the rehearsal dinner went off seamlessly in the same beautiful space. The backdrop for our ceremony was absolutely stunning, and our guests couldn't stop raving about the picturesque setting, smores by the fire pit, and the indoor/outdoor flow of the reception. The Blue Mountain Bistro catering team was amazing too—everyone loved their meals. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to celebrate and for Onteora’s help throughout the planning process!
Any questions?
We couldn’t be happier that we chose the Onteora Mountain House as our wedding venue. The views are simply breathtaking and the team there is incredible. Jeremy and Dylan make you feel right at home and are so helpful both during the wedding planning process and throughout the wedding weekend. We had rain on the day of and they were able to adapt quickly and went out of their way to accommodate my many requests to help ensure our guests stayed comfortable and dry. We got compliments from our guests all night long about how attentive everybody from the venue was. The Onteora Mountain House is an unbelievably special place. If you’re thinking about getting married here - do it!!
A fairytale wedding from start to finish. Jeremy and his staff are attentive to EVERY detail. They anticipate all your needs and leave nothing to chance. Highly recommend!!!!
Onteora is such a special wedding venue. It is absolutely stunning and the team is amazing. We are so happy we had our wedding at Onteora and can't recommend it highly enough!
I can’t imagine having had my wedding anywhere else! Not only is the mountain house absolutely stunning with the most breathtaking views I’ve ever seen, but Jeremy and the team were awesome to work with and did everything possible to make our planning process and big day perfect. Our guests still can’t stop talking about how incredible it was. We are biased but it’s by far the best venue we have ever been to! We also loved that it’s a one stop shop with catering, bar, and rentals included. We just can’t recommend them enough :)
Onteora Mountain House was an incredible place to get married! The staff were extremely professional and on top of everything. The venue is gorgeous and we were able to relax and enjoy our day knowing that everything was handled and organized. Highly recommend - the views, the buildings, the staff, the food, and everything else are perfect!
Wow. This venue blew us away. Jeremy was so helpful through the planning process, and Bob (while a bit eccentric) was not lying about the beauty and smoothness with which this place runs. It felt truly magical. The setup of the ceremony and reception was perfect, as they offered lemonade and water to early arrival guests, greeted people with signature cocktails after the ceremony, and had really friendly staff all around. During our tasting, one server we chatted with said that she decided to come back to work at Onteora not because she needed to but because of how much she loved it.
The food from Blue Mountain Bistro was also incredible, and Jeremy managed to communicate a lot of complicated food requests to our guests successfully. We got the Beet Salad, Chicken Marsala, Salmon Dijonnaise, and the Risotto cake for vegetarians all of which were truly delicious. And the passed appetizers during cocktail hour were also amazing -- particularly the stuffed mushrooms and tuna tare tare.
The dance floor was definitely sufficient for our needs, but I cold see for larger weddings that it might be a bit crowded if you expect most people are dancing. The extras do add up to make this place a bit high cost, but all in all we HIGHLY recommend this venue!!!!
Jeremy, Bob, and the staff at Onteora were incredible to work with throughout the entire wedding planning process. They were transparent, helpful, and communicative throughout the year that we worked with them. Multiple members of the wedding party and guests commented on how "on it" Jeremy was on the day of our wedding. Everything was seamless and we couldn't have been happier with our experience. Onteora is an absolutely beautiful place and we can't wait to visit again someday.
Onteora is simply put, a magical place. It is so peaceful and I could stare at the mountain views forever! The pictures (which are amazing) don't even do it complete justice - we knew upon visiting we wanted to get married there. Then... 2020 happened! They were great about rescheduling our October 2020 wedding for October 2021, Jeremy is extremely professional and organized - it is clear they have been doing this for awhile and have a system in place that works! It was amazing to have our family there for the whole weekend to really connect and my husband and I stayed an extra few days on our own to decompress after the wedding which I highly recommend! You won't regret booking Onteora, it's beautiful.
We were originally slated to get married at Onteora in Aug 2020, and eventually had our wedding there in Aug 2021. Through the nearly two (tumultuous) years as we postponed and then planned and had a wedding during the pandemic, there were many many many times we felt beyond thankful to have chosen Onteora.
Bob and Jeremy were amazing. We were so thankful to have practical, honest, down to earth individuals who answered a zillion of our questions, offering their helpful advice (often with a humorous twist) from decades of weddings, and making all kinds of accommodations to make our wedding perfect. (Jeremy even arranged for awesome apples from his farm stand for our welcome bags.)
We and our guests had an amazing time - everything was gorgeous, smooth and delicious. Some of our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to, and that some of the appetizers were the best wedding food they had ever had. It’s a beautiful place, and we’re already excited to try to return to the B&B for anniversaries. (We stayed at Onteora for the tasting weekend and a few extra nights before/after the wedding - highly recommended.)
Thank you Bob and Jeremy!
Our wedding at Onteora Mountain House was an absolute dream. When we saw the grounds at Onteora we knew right away that we wanted to be married there. The views are indescribable, and there's a sense of calm and serenity that we wanted our guests to feel as they arrived.
In addition to the views, Onteora's resident manager Jeremy and the owner Bob, are one of a kind. Jeremy-- there is nothing that he didn't do to make our day absolutely seamless. Every detail was thought through and things that went unplanned-- he was there to make sure it ran smoothly anyway. We couldn't have asked for a better event manager. It was like there were 5 Jeremy's since he was everywhere you needed him to be. Amazing! Meeting Bob confirmed that Onteora was where we wanted our wedding. He is a no-nonsense guy who really loves the mountain house and has the best approach to dealing with weddings.
The food was amazing, all locally sourced through the Blue Mountain Bistro Catering company. We loved working with them throughout the process.
We highly recommend the weekend experience so that you and your family and friends can enjoy the surroundings for as long as possible as it goes by way too fast! Waking up to the fall foliage and taking a shower overlooking the valleys was the absolute best way to start the most special day of our lives!
Thank you Onteora! We plan to be back for our anniversary!
Literally the BEST venue out there. Absolutely stunning, gorgeous views, good for indoor and outdoor, my friends are STILL talking about it. Didn't even feel like you were in NY up in those mountains! The owner couldn't have been nicer or more accomodating and it came with an amazing day-of coordinator! Would recommend this place over and over again. Thank you for making the wedding of my dreams!!
Our August wedding was more magical than we could have imagined. Everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Working with Jeremy made the process a breeze. Onteora has a streamlined process in place to organize a wedding efficiently, but also leaves room for the special touches that allow your wedding’s personal theme to shine through. We loved having the venue to ourselves from Friday through Sunday, and opted to host our rehearsal dinner (35 people) and Sunday brunch (100 people) there, all of which were delightful. We loved that our family dogs celebrated with us, since Onteora is pet-friendly. Onteora is so peaceful and secluded that your entire wedding will feel like a dream - very different than your typical commercialized wedding venue. We loved having the ceremony and cocktail hour outside, and the surrounding landscape provided an incredible backdrop for photos. If we had to go back and do it all over again, we would still choose Onteora in a heartbeat.
Onteora Mountain House was the perfect venue for our dream wedding. Every detail was executed perfectly. I am very organized and detail-oriented and I was afraid that something would be missed, but nothing at all was! I wouldn't change a single detail. The whole staff is so thoughtful and makes sure everything runs beautifully and smooth.
I loved the ceremony site, that the whole weekend was ours to host a rehearsal dinner, wedding and brunch, and the overall serenity that takes over you the second you step onto the grounds. The feeling is indescribable.
Pictures can't even capture the magic of the grounds. The house and rooms are comfortable, updated and superb! Our parents and family loved hanging out in the house, game room and by the fire pit. They also loved the seated breakfast for both Saturday and Sunday, it was nice to have time together with a delicious breakfast (which is important to eat the day of your wedding!)
Jeremy is a dream to work with, he goes above and beyond and really nails every detail! He was a perfect day-of coordinator, and kept us on-time and was a calm and strong force for the day! I was debating back and forth about getting a planner and with Jeremy, it is not needed! He answers every question before and during the wedding and really knows EVERYTHING to ask and organize.
The food was fantastic and tasty! The tasting that they host was great to be able to pick our appetizers, entrees, sides, cake and desserts. Food was hot, fresh and delicious. Our cake was beautiful and people ate 2-3 slices each!
If this venue has your requested date available, RUN don't walk to take that date! You will not regret it.
If you're lucky enough to get a date on Onteora's schedule, take it! This venue and their staff have it all. You can already see from the pictures how idyllic the scenery is. And I dare say it's even more striking in person. Your guests will not stop telling you how beautiful the grounds and pavilion are. But this venue is more than its good looks. It is a well-oiled machine. Peace of mind is everything when it comes to wedding planning, so you want vendors you can trust. You can depend on Bob and Jeremy 100% to make things run smoothly. I actually hired an independent wedding planner, and after all was said and done, I wish I hadn't because Jeremy, the in-house coordinator, was so capable and helpful, it was totally unnecessary to have extra help. Finally, it rained nonstop the day of our wedding, but that didn't spoil things at all because Onteora was fully equipped to handle the weather. When I first toured this venue, having a rain back-up was a high priority for us, and we chose Onteora because the rain plan-B is just as beautiful as the outdoor plan-A. As it happened, that turned out to be critical! If you choose Onteora, you'll have an incredible wedding and you and your guests will be delighted.
Our son was married at The Onteora Mountain House on June 2, 2018. I have to say that it was the most spectacular wedding down to every detail. Jeremy and Robert were great to deal with. Jeremy made sure that the day went off perfectly and he was on top of everything! . The views are incredible as well as the food and all of our guests have not stopped raving!
We had our wedding at the Onteora Mountain House in August 2017. After getting engaged in late 2016, it was difficult to find a venue for 2017, but Onteora had one spot left and we were SO lucky to get it.
Working with Jeremy and his team was great. The Onteora Mountain House has hosted many, many weddings and it shows. They had resources available to make planning easier, and they were always very responsive to our questions. Not having to choose every chair, knife, and glass made planning much less time consuming.
The wedding weekend was great with homemade breakfast for the wedding party each day, and the wedding was the best day of our lives! I didn't worry about anything. Our family and friends loved the Onteora Mountain House. They raved about the beautiful venue and the gorgeous view. A few people even mentioned that they were going to look into for their own weddings. We are so happy we chose the Onteora Mountain House and cannot thank them enough for their professional work and personal touches.
I saw pictures of a wedding at Onteora in a magazine about 10 years ago, and they were so stunning that I saved the magazine and kept it for the next decade. When my fiance and I got engaged and were discussing venues, I pulled it out to show to him and he was as blown away as I had been. We visited a bunch of sites but saved Onteora for last, and the moment we got there we knew it was right for us.
The venue is absolutely stunning—we were married at the end of October and the foliage was incredible (it didn't hurt that the weather was perfect, too). Our ceremony was outside; we said our vows surrounded by friends and family and bathed in sunlight. One of my guests said it was so beautiful it was otherworldly.
Plus, there's the fact that everything else in the process ran so smoothly. Bob and Jeremy clearly know what they're doing; they were quick to respond to emails and questions, and handled everything—even the things I hadn't known to worry about or plan—with perfect efficiency. I was not looking for a DIY type of wedding; I didn't want to have to rent forks or chairs or look up ordinances about how late a party could go. I just wanted a place that handled everything and did it well; Onteora definitely is that place. I had so many guests tell me how ridiculously good a time they'd had. We opted to do a morning-after brunch at Onteora, too, and that was equally awesome, with delicious food and gorgeous views.
Where to start. As locals (I'm from Shandaken and my husband is from Woodstock), my husband and I are intimately familiar with the Catskills and are very fortunate to have grown up there. We know the Mountains like the backs of our hands, and wanted a venue that reflected our love of the area and also showcased and supported the local people and other local vendors. Many of the kind folks working at the Mountain House were old friends and/or acquaintances, and working with them was so comfortable and enjoyable.
Jeremy (the Manager/Wedding coordinator/provider of all things) is AMAZING. He is supremely organized, calm, and respectful. He works with you to make sure every detail is accommodated, even if it's not included and is something additional. If you have add-on catering requests he goes out and does the shopping himself. You work with him throughout the entire planning process, and you never feel like there is anything left out or forgotten. Your day is constructed and built up around you, your personality, and your preferences, and on the day, it's truly magical to watch it all come together. On the day of our Wedding, every person on staff was helpful, respectful, sweet, and patient. You can tell they put up with a lot, given the high demands of brides and grooms these days, and they still treated our Wedding like it was something extremely special that they were thrilled to be a part of.
The actual day was just a joy to experience. Being on site at the Mountain House is an amazing, no-words type of beauty. Even having lived in those Mountains my whole life, the views took my breath away. We were lucky enough to have had a beautiful clear day, but even misty/rainy days are gorgeous at the Mountain House and they are clearly very prepared for any type of bad weather. The rooms (we got ready and stayed in the Cottage, the Overlook room), are luxurious and beautiful with all of the amenities of a 4-star B&B. Breakfast in the morning was provided by Jeremy himself and was fantastic.
Onteora works with the local Blue Mountain Bistro for catering and the food was incredible, from the cocktail hour appetizers to the dessert (they also provide the Wedding cake). The bartender perfectly crafted our Drink of the Day and it was a huge hit. The food tasting was several months before, and our parents attended in our place since we couldn't be there, but Bistro hosted a private tasting especially for us when we came in to visit our families a few months later. Since I didn't get to eat much at the actual Wedding I felt lucky to have tasted everything previously.
In Summary, the Mountain House truly showcases how hard-working and kind the local people of the area are, the pride they take in their work, and how they will go above and beyond for you. Show them the respect they deserve and you will not be disappointed in this choice of Wedding venue.
We had the wedding of our dreams at Onteora Mountain House. We wanted a place that was different from your typical ballroom and reflective of my husband and I. Onteora just speaks for itself. The view is unlike any other! Bob is a bit quirky but good at responding quickly to emails. Jeremy is the best! He was so helpful for anything that we needed for our wedding weekend. They make a great team. They have a lot of experience doing weddings at Onteora and are very organized. We were not the only ones that were blown away by how great things were, many of our guests said it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to! The guest rooms were gorgeous our family loved staying at Onteora for the weekend. The food through Blue Mountain Bistro was delicious.
My husband and I had the most incredible wedding at Onteora Mountain House over Labor Day weekend this year. It was the first and only venue we visited, we were sold on the mountain views at first site. This location is absolutely breathtaking. The food was delicious, the ceremony backdrop is beautiful and the guest rooms in the mountain house and cottage are wonderful. Bob & Jeremy were very helpful and easy to work with throughout the planning process. On the day of, they took care of all decoration set up, coordinated with the vendors and made sure we didn't have to stress over anything. The venue is a little pricey, but completely worth it in the end. If you're looking for a woodsy, romantic wedding in the mountains, look no further.
I had my wedding at Onteora in the early summer of 2015. We chose Onteora because of the obvious natural beauty of the area—the stunning views are just incomparable. We were also encouraged by the fact that the facility provided a caterer and necessities such as tables/chairs set-up. Also, the rooms in the B&B were fantastic—it made us and our wedding party feel like we were on a vacation.
We decided to have our rehearsal dinner at the house as well, which worked out really well. The owners helped direct the ceremony rehearsal and then cocktails/hors d’oevres were provided. We worked out a custom-made menu with the caterer (Bistro To Go, which also provided food for the wedding). We were very pleased with everything: The food was great and the table setup was perfect.
The wedding day went very smoothly as well and we luckily had perfect weather. The breakfast that was served was delicious. My hair/makeup team was pretty slow-moving, so we were down to the wire to get the bridesmaids/mothers/myself ready in time, but the owners were very in tuned to our timeline and made sure to get everyone set to go as close to the start time as possible.
The ceremony went perfectly without a hitch, and I’ve been told that the cocktail hour was enjoyable (we were taking photos with our wedding party at that time).
We thought the reception was fantastic—lots of great music and dancing and chatting, it was a really, really fun experience overall. The owners were aware of how the evening was progressing and made sure to stick to a schedule for when the meal/cake was served and when the speeches took place. At one point we needed to adjust the volume of the music and the big fan, which was easily done.
The staff was great and very accommodating. They set the tables just as we’d asked—even trimming sprigs of rosemary for each plate—and the card box/place cards were presented beautifully. There were a few details missed in the setup, however: For example, flowers were supposed to be in the bathrooms with lit candles; our rooms/beds were not tidied during our stay; the brunch was supposed to be held in the main house but was instead in the reception hall).
The overall experience was extremely positive though I wish that the owners had been a little easier to work with. There was some tension in coming to agreements on certain details of the course of events and it became stressful at times. One example: We were not told that we needed to find out if our guests were eating beef or fish until after the invitations were sent out, so we had to scramble to find out peoples’ orders 3 weeks before the wedding. It seemed the caterer should have been able to provide enough of each, as we’ve experienced when attending other peoples’ weddings. But all in all, we would not hesitate to recommend the Onteora Mountain House for a wedding. It’s a beautiful venue and the owners/staff will be sure to give you the mountain wedding of your dreams!
Onteora is one of the most beautiful places on earth, and we still can't get over how gorgeous our wedding was. We got married during a light mist of rain, and the grounds took on a dreamy, intimate quality that made for gorgeous photos and cool, comfortable guests.
We were so happy and busy that we forgot to eat, and the staff were kind enough to make us a plate of entrees. The appetizers, main course, cake and desserts were all superb - we haven't stopped thinking about it.
Throughout the process, Bob and Jeremy were pleasures to work with. They are smart and dry-witted and relaxed because they know what they are doing. It was nice to be in such capable hands for the best day of our lives.
What can I possibly add here that hasn't already been said? This venue is fantastic. Bob and Jeremy handled every hiccup and every detail with care and professionalism. I felt confident the whole way through the planning process that they would keep everything running smoothly. Even when it rained, they put the rain plan into motion seamlessly and I didn't worry for a moment. Putting my event in the hands of these gentlemen was the best wedding choice I made short of my groom.
Onteora Mountain House was a dream location for my husband and I. Not only are they extremely professional and buttoned up but the place is absolutely gorgeous! It's pricy but they are so lovely to work with and it's a wonderful place to stay for a wedding weekend. You can't go wrong if you love nature and want a spectacular location for your wedding.
My husband & I were married at the Onteora Mountain House in Sept. 2012 and it was an amazing time. It's been over 3 months and guests are still sending me messages about how beautiful it was. The views of the mountains are breath taking, the pavilion was beautiful and perfect for our reception.
Our entire wedding experience was not only gorgeous & amazing, but completely painless. The staff really know how to run a wedding. It really was a perfect day.
Jeremy, who assisted Bob, the owner, took care of us the whole weekend. He helped us set up, helped put together all my little DYI projects on Friday, and had us packed up and cleaned up the next day. It was such an amazing surprise to see all of our stuff so neatly packed up. Everyone was so cooperative and helpful every step of the way.
It really was a joy to be in the care of such professionals. Between the staff and the mountains, I was the most relaxed morning of bride.
I highly recommend Onteora Mountain house whether you are looking for a wedding venue or a weekend getaway
I got married at the end of June 2012 at Onteora. Bob and Jeremy are serious professionals who ensured the whole thing went off without a hitch. The place is so gorgeous and the venue is incredibly well run. I heard from many guests that it was the best wedding they've ever been to.
Throughout the planning process, Bob and Jeremy were quite good and responsive to my requests. We met with them three separate times (once to see the venue, once for the tasting, and once for the final meeting to discuss the final details).
One thing to note: if you use this place, you most likely will need to hire buses. You will need to provide this logistical information to your guests - I'd recommend including that information in the invitations.
We used Tonche Transit who were accomodating and fun (I have pictures of the singalong on the bus on the way home from the after party to prove it!).
We started the weekend on Friday with the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner held on site. Despite my large and slightly unruly wedding party, Bob made sure everyone knew what to do and when to do it. The dinner was catered by Hickory Smokehouse and was delicious (especially the blackened catfish).
On Saturday, Jeremy worked to make sure everything was coming together smoothly. We brought in hair stylists and got ready in the cottage. Jeremy and Bob coordinated with our vendors who were setting up while we got ready.
Throughout the night, Bob and Jeremy worked to make sure all key events happened at the agreed upon times, and that we were present. (I was so excited, more than once Bob had to remind me that something was happening and I needed to return to my seat or the dance floor). We extended the party by an hour which was totally worth it.
The food was excellent. Even though we did first look photos, we missed most of the cocktail hour. I'd recommend asking someone to make a plate for the bride and groom - both for appetizers and entrees. I didn't have one bite of either entree because I was so busy. We did hear that the entrees were out of this world from guests who raved about their dinners.
We used the band Saints of Swing for the cocktail hour and first dance (very classy!), and then transitioned to Dave Leonard of JTD Productions (another seriously awesome professional who kept the dance floor jumping). Flowers were done by Dennis at the Green Cottage (beautiful) and photos by Kim Coccagnia (which are gorgeous!). All of our vendors worked together really well, which we appreciated. I would not have changed a thing.
If you want the most amazing weekend of your life..RENT out Onteora Mountain House for the 3 days. Getting to stay with your family and friends in the mountain house all weekend and right after your reception is worth every dime. Jeremy is amazing as a host and Bob was great to work with the entire time. They are class all the way, something you can't put a price on these days. This venue is a bit expensive for some, but if you can make it work in your budget DO IT!! You will not be disappointed. Every detail from cocktail hour, through the reception was amazing. We did the Sunday brunch overlooking the beautiful mountain side and our guests could not stop commenting on what an amazing wedding we had. LOVED IT!!
This is a very beautiful location - nestled in the Catskill Mountains. The outdoor wedding site is set against the background of the mountains and surrounded by huge pine trees. The reception pavillion is absolutely gorious too - a large wooden building that opens to the outdoors and the spectacular view also. We chose this location also because in case of rain, the wedding could be moved into the pavillion and still be spectacular! The food was great including the wedding cake. But most of all, the staff was incredible. They have done so many wedding here that they know exactly how it should all flow. They coordinated the rehearsal and the wedding with the professionalism of any experienced wedding coordinator! I can't say enough good things about this location!
Onteora was the most perfect place to have our wedding. I could not ask for anything more. We had the entire house for from 12noon Friday to 12 noon Sunday. This was a great thing because we had everything there. No one had to go down the mountain for anything. We had the rehearsal dinner there, the hair stylist came to my room, and we took pictures there. This made like so easy and simple. One place - done. The best was going to bed with a fireplace going one both nights and walking up to a wonderful view. It was completely surreal. I felt like a princess and onteora was my castle. Even if it was just 2 days. The breakfasts were excellent! Most of all Jeremy and Bob made it so easy and simple. We arrived, they took everything that was needed and it was all set for us the day of the wedding. Everything was seamless and perfect! I could not ask for a better backdrop for our wedding! We will visit every year on our anniversary. The work part was driving down the mountain to go back home. Thank you the most perfect wedding weekend I could have ever imagined!
Onteora Mountain House is the most amazing place to have gotten married! I'm so happy that we could do it there - the backdrop of the mountain valley is unbelievable, and the managers made sure everything was perfect and elegant - it was absolutely the most amazing wedding that I could have ever imagined. SO beautiful!
