Alvin Perez, originally from Queens, New York, has called Florida home since 2000. From the inception of Ooh la la, he has been an integral part of the team. With over a decade of experience in the field, Alvin ventured into the world of cosmetology back in 2008. His expertise encompasses a wide array of hair services for Men and Women. He has extensive experience with Color Treatments, Extensions, Braids , Special Event Updos and Bridal styling. Alvin brings a wealth of experience to the hairdressing industry, with a genuine passion for hair developed organically over years in the salon. He has styled countless brides, ensuring their hair looks exquisite on their special day. His calm, friendly demeanor puts even the most nervous bride at ease, while creating stunning hairstyles. Fluent in Spanish, Alvin enriches client interactions, and his love for travel keeps his spirit adventurous and perspectives broad.

Nicolena Barber is a nationally published stylist, master colorist, and makeup artist with over 12 years of experience in the beauty industry. From Victoria’s Secret models and high‑profile on‑air TV personalities to creating polished looks for the President of the United States, Nicolena has built a reputation for her extraordinary skill, creativity, and professionalism. As the former owner of a successful salon in New Jersey, she provided expert services in hair coloring, precision cutting, hair extensions, eyelash extensions, makeup artistry, and bridal styling. Her dedication to mastering her craft and staying ahead of industry trends makes her an invaluable addition to the Ooh La La team. Nicolena has also led and trained beauty teams, founded Nikki B’s Bridal Company serving weddings around the globe, and collaborated on high-profile projects, including Victoria’s Secret’s Met Gala presence and CNN America’s live television coverage. Her expertise in bridal styling, event beauty, and luxury salon experiences aligns perfectly with Ooh La La’s vision of delivering exceptional, personalized care. With her intuitive approach, passion for enhancing natural beauty, and artistry rooted in innovation, Nicolena is here to elevate the Ooh la la experience, empowering every client to look and feel their absolute best.

Courtney joined Ooh la la Salon and Wellness as the Director of Weddings and Events, where she heads up the wedding dream team of hair and makeup artists. Under her leadership, the team ensures that every bride’s special day is flawless and unforgettable. Courtney recently competed in the prestigious “Premiere Orlando” hair and beauty show and is a winner for the second year in a row, taking the top prize in both 2023 and 2024. She is skilled in color, balayage, blondes, and gives stylish men’s and women’s haircuts. Her meticulous attention to detail and exceptional styling skills have earned her a reputation for creating stunning, personalized looks that leave clients feeling confident and beautiful. Licensed in 2009, Courtney has extensive experience in all aspects of the beauty industry. She began her career with Ratner Co., where she worked from 2009 to 2020. Courtney moved from Virginia to New Smyrna Beach to work with Ratner Co., taking on leadership roles and working with various brands such as Redken, PM, Nioxin, Cibu, TiGi, and Sexy Hair. In 2020, she went solo and worked for a small boutique salon as Salon Quartz. She constantly educates herself and aligns her training with top educators such as Vidal Sassoon and Hanzo. She spends quality time communicating with every client to understand the look they want and learn about their personality. “Listening and understanding the client is essential to creating a great style and making them feel truly beautiful.” Courtney loves to travel, be creative, and absolutely adores her Chihuahua Dachshund, Marlee, who you will see regularly at Ooh la la.

From the scenic shores of Diano Marina, Italy, Daniela brings nearly 40 years of experience in the beauty industry to Key Largo, Florida. Starting as an apprentice at 13, she has built a distinguished career marked by innovation, artistry, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Her journey began in the bustling salons of northern Italy, where she held prestigious positions at Jean Louis David and Vidal Sassoon Salons, known for cutting-edge style and sophistication. Daniela’s expertise encompasses masterful cuts, vibrant colorings, men’s stylish haircuts, children’s haircuts, and pioneering hairdressing techniques.  Seeking new horizons, Daniela moved to the United States, quickly earning her American stylist license. Her skill and creative flair earned her a dedicated following at Total Concepts Salon in Wyckoff, NJ, and later a prominent role at Riccio Salon. Eventually, Daniela’s entrepreneurial spirit led her to open Salon Jodana in Bergen County, NJ, a sanctuary of style catering to an upscale clientele, including celebrities. Here, she became more than a stylist—she was an artist, crafting bespoke looks for television appearances, media engagements, weddings, and special events. Now in Key Largo with her husband Mark, Daniela enjoys the sunshine life with her husband and their beautiful dog, Jojo. Daniela is also a Tony Robbins Trainer, bringing motivation and a positive outlook to Ooh la la Salon and Wellness. Her passion for being with people and inspiring others is an asset to the salon. Lola, originally from Kazakhstan, serves as both a Front Desk and Make-Up Artist at Ooh la la. After graduating from beauty school in New York, she began her career in 2017. Passionate about fashion and art, Lola showcased her talents at New York Fashion Week and as the key make-up artist at the Miami Fashion Show. She has collaborated with numerous photographers and fashion designers. Lola’s love for the beauty industry keeps her striving to learn and improve. She is also an amazing spray tan artist, capable of defining and tanning your body to perfection. Lola has a unique talent for perceiving color combinations, which she uses to enhance her fashion styling, creating looks that truly express and amplify beauty. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis and billiards, which keep her active and inspired Lola’s dedication to her craft and her continuous pursuit of excellence make her a standout in the beauty industry.
