Lauren was such a pleasure to work with. I have pretty fine hair and wanted voluminous, thicker and longer hair so she suggested I get Luxy hair extensions. Man, did they deliver! We went for a tighter wave/curl and they lasted the 12+ hours between all of the (outside) photos through all of the dancing. She was SO speedy and gave all of the girls exactly what they wanted! I can't recommend Lauren enough! I will say, too, she was very affordable and within the range I was looking to spend, for both bridal hair and bridesmaid hair.

Lauren and Lexi were everything and more!!! They made this experience so lovely for me, even when I had to book them only 6 weeks out from my wedding because my first hair and MU vendor didn’t work out. they did such a fantastic job on not only me, but my bridesmaids and my mom. Lauren and her team were amazing. My hair was more beautiful than I could’ve imagined and they were able to do so many different styles for all of my girls. They got 14 girls ready and we were also done early with no issue at all! They couldn’t have been kinder and more calming on wedding day.

OohLalaBeauty played an essential role on our wedding day. Not only on our wedding day but also on my bridal shower day. I went with a down due for my bridal shower and she did an amazing job. I was there to do a wedding day trial hair and makeup but I opted to do something different. Lauren was confident that she would be able to do the hairdo I wanted on my wedding day without a trial; therefore I opted to do something different. hair and makeup for bridal shower were stunning, I felt so beautiful. I put my faith and trust in Lauren and her makeup stylist because they are good at what they do. I not only found her on The Knot but I knew of her business because my Matron of honor had her for her wedding day as well and right then I knew I had to have her because I already saw her work in action and knew she they would be able to do whatever I asked for. I booked her the minute we got in touch. Through my two year engagement, Lauren was responsive when necessary and she executed everything I hired her for. she was so kind and positive every time we spoke and I am so lucky to know her. The wedding day finally came around and I became so conflicted in which style to go with. Lauren was patient and asked all the right questions to help me solidify what I truly was looking for. With a few Inspiration photos and a quick conversation, Lauren absolutely executed my hair. Before seeing it in the mirror all my ladies were stunned at the job that she did. All my girls had a different hair due and she executed all of them, but my hair as the bride, she just made it really stand out in a way that if we were all dressed the same you would know that I was the bride. I felt so beautiful and it was such a special moment for me. Lauren has an amazing team of makeup artists. I was so impressed with Lexi because she had such a wide variety of makeup to match any skin color and it was SO refreshing. all the girls had something a little different and she just made us all feel like stars. Lexi came with a wide variety to choose from, and her professionalism and the way she did each of our makeup was so clean and fresh. All of her brushes were clean, all of her makeup she used on each girl was squeezed onto her clean refreshed hand every time a new girl sat in her chair. I was so impressed by the wonderful performance she did. All of my ladies were pleased with everything they got. Even at the end, we asked for a few minor touchups and OohLala didn't hesitate to step in. This team is amazing and I highly recommend having them for any special occasion you may have. Lauren and her team (Lexi, Ashlyn & Devon) were AMAZING! They made my bridesmaids and myself feel / look beautiful! Looking at other reviews, I just wanted to address that Lauren is super busy (everyone I know books with her), so if she doesn't respond right away, it's is likely that your email got lost in her inbox - just send a follow up email and she WILL get back to you! The work that she and her team does is phenomenal!

Everyone looked absolutely gorgeous, thanks to Ashlyn and Stephanie. The only bummer was that communication with the owner took a really long time to hear back, like a couple of weeks between emails or even months sometimes, which was a bit stressful. The five stars is solely for how great of a quality the hair was.

Lauren and her team exceeded expectations! They made me feel so comfortable with their knowledge, experience, and professionalism. I cannot say enough great things about Lauren and her team! I originally booked Lauren for my 11.20.20 wedding but due to covid had to postpone the full day event. Lauren did my hair and make up for my mini ceremony in 2020 and then her and her team did an amazing job for my full day celebration on 2.11.22! We had 10 girls total get done. Lauren and her team were so friendly and got all the girls done in a timely manner! If you are a bride looking for a hair/make up artist, deffinantly book Ooh Lala you won't be disappointed!

Lauren and her team were fantastic! I booked Oh Lala for myself, 9 bridesmaids, my mom and mother in law and their timing was perfect. My bridal party felt beautiful and confident and 100% satisfied with all their unique looks. Lauren took my notes from the hair trial and nailed my final look. I felt like a goddess. My hair and makeup was absolutely stunning and all of my girls were gorgeous. Everyone was so happy with how they looked! Ooh Lala did a fantastic job for my November wedding! Lauren was unfortunately booked but she sent an amazing team to help us with the big day. We had 4 stylists and everything went perfectly and according to the timeline. As the Bride, I had Jenna and Ana do my makeup and hair (respectively) and they both did an incredible job. My entire bridal party was so happy with both hair and makeup and it made the day perfect. My makeup also looked spectacular in pictures, so natural and beautiful. Highly recommend.

I am not one to post a negative review- however I want to share my experience with Ooh lala because I was truly disappointed and shocked at the lack of professionalism that was portrayed and the disrespect I was shown. I booked Ooh lala for my October 2021 wedding a year in advance. Lauren was my point of contact and when I emailed her in June of 2021 to discuss my bridal trial she brushed me off and said to wait until 3 months prior to my wedding. So I asked if we could schedule a date in the meantime so that it was booked as my calendar was filling up. She then did not respond for a month. After a month I sent another email- no response. It was 2 months before my wedding and she was no longer responding to me. So clearly it sent me into a panic and frenzie to find new hair and makeup. After 3 months and several emails unanswered (all while continuing to post on social media) I sent a final email formally stating I wanted to terminate our contract due to her unprofessionalism and lack of communication. She responded right away and claimed that I had not emailed her and that it was the first time she was hearing from me. I sent the PDF print out of our email thread and all of the emails that went unanswered and she continued to play dumb. She was not sincere in her apologies and ignored my concerns and continued to ask about plans moving forward with my wedding. She left such a sour taste in my mouth I was glad that we did not end up working together because I would have been concerned that she would ghost me again prior to (or on!) my wedding day! And now- I have also emailed her several times requesting my deposit back due to her not following through with our contract...she has yet to answer and I have not received my deposit back. I do not want this to happen to any other bride as it added so much unnecessary stress to my wedding planning. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt in this situation, however she was unapologetic and unprofessional in regards to the entire situation. Again, I am not one to write a negative review and even writing this now I feel bad- but she could have ruined my wedding day and gave me so much stress and anxiety that I would never want another bride to experience.

Highly recommend!!! These ladies were amazing. Arrived on time and got all 7 of us done in time before we had to head to the venue. The amount of compliments we got on our hair and makeup were countless! SO SO SO happy we chose these ladies for my special day. Definitely wouldn’t of been special without you guys!!

Lauren and her team were AMAZING!! I’ve been in a total of 9 weddings and it’s usually guaranteed that someone doesn’t like their hair or makeup, or the makeup is caked on. Not with Ooh Lala! Each one of my bridesmaids looked better than the next and they all made comments that it was the best hair and makeup they’d ever had done… and I have to agree! For all you curly girls out there… I have long, thick, curly hair and I wanted something smooth and elegant. She gave me the most beautiful French twist, my family and friends were calling it a Work of art. My sister has very fine, voluminous ringlets and Lauren was able to give her long, loose curls with braids around the crown of her head. My mom has very, very thick, curly hair and Lauren gave her long loose curls with a twist back on one side. It’s hard finding a stylist who can work with curly hair in a timely matter so if that’s you… Lauren’s your girl! Being a COVID bride, my wedding date changed and Lauren was so easy to work with when it came to rescheduling. She even accommodated a second trial because after a year had passed, my taste had changed. On the day of the wedding she and her team were on time, if not early, to our venue and got straight to work. We were finished Ahead of schedule which actually gave us time to eat lunch together while my bridesmaids gave me a few honeymoon gifts. There was no stress and no rushing to get done in time, which really contributed to making the biggest day of my life so far, also the most fun. Things just could not have been more perfect. I felt beautiful, relaxed and my hair stayed put until I woke up the next morning. Lauren does not play when it comes to Bobby pins! I was a dancing machine and not a Single hair came out of my bun. My husband and I drank Gatorade from champagne glasses while he took them out of my head the next morning haha! TLDR: 12/10. Would highly recommend!!

Lauren and Lexi were AMAZING to work with…not once but twice! I originally had a May 2020 wedding date but because of Covid we got married in the backyard and had our reception a year later. They went above and beyond to ensure that all of my needs were met for both dates. We had 16 women the day of our reception getting hair and makeup done and they were perfect with timing! They were very easy to communicate with and prices are very reasonable. I highly suggest using them for all of your wedding day hair and makeup needs!

After my bridal makeup trial with a different vendor went terribly wrong just weeks before my wedding, a mutual friend suggested Lauren and Ooh Lala Beauty and I reached out in a panic. Luckily, Lauren was available for hair and Kat was available for makeup on my date. Within minutes of meeting Kat for my makeup trial, I knew that I was in good hands. She's so sweet and she's such a professional. I was instantly at ease when she said the magic words: "makeup is my passion," and boy oh boy, did she deliver. I emerged from her chair so IN LOVE with my makeup that I didn't want to wash it off that night! Fast forward to my wedding day, and Kat did a phenomenal job on not only my makeup but also that of my bridesmaids, mother, and mother-in-law. I should note that all of these women have different skin tones/complexions, yet Kat made everyone look beautiful. When it came to hair, Lauren knocked it out of the park! This woman works at the speed of lightning and she is literally a magician. She effortlessly styled short hair, long hair, clip-in extensions, and so forth, making everyone look fantastic. Where do I start? I without hesitation will recommend Lauren & her team- 1000%. Our wedding was postponed to 5/7/21 and to say I'm extremely lucky that Lauren was open on our new date is an understatement. She was extremely accommodating throughout the whole process, especially when I booked a last minute hair trial before the wedding. She gave my girls and I the best getting ready experience we've ever had. She was on time, professional, personable. She rocked 8 girls' hair in an amazing amount of time.. I cannot say enough good things about her! I wish that I could do it again just to have her style my hair! YES, YES, YES BOOK HER!!!!!

Lauren was great! We had to postpone our big wedding due to covid, and she happily allowed me to use my hair and makeup trial for my mini wedding in my Mom’s back yard. Can wait to see her again for the big wedding next year!

Lauren did an incredible job with my wedding hair and makeup yesterday! I was worried about the hair and makeup getting messed up in the heat (my wedding was outdoors and it was in the 90s), but it held up perfectly and I received so many compliments. I also have zero knowledge of hair and makeup, so she helped me pick out what would look best on me. Lauren was amazing! I reached out to her for my Cape May beach wedding for makeup and hair and she responded right away with a quote. She was right on time to accommodate my early morning wedding she arrived at my motel at 5am to ensure i was set on time! She made me feel and look beautiful. 100% would recommend Lauren - I went with a half up style with a braid pulling back my hair. It was so perfect - the style photographed impeccably. Additionally, I danced like crazy and the hair didn’t budge. Lauren also did hair for my mother and maid of honor and they looked stunning. Lauren did my hair and makeup for my engagement shoot and as soon as we booked our wedding date, I reached out to see if she was available and was so excited to hear she was! Lauren was the BEST choice for my girls and me for our wedding! She is very personable and easy to talk to. Before the wedding, she asked for my vision, we looked at pictures, had a trial and discussed changes to make for the big day. I actually had a total change of heart and wanted to go with a completely different hairstyle two days before the wedding. LAUREN NAILED IT!! I got soooo many compliments on my hair from guests. Lauren worked hard the day of the wedding to make sure each girl had a flattering hairstyle that they liked. She was punctual and professional. Lauren was the hairstylist for a wedding I was in a year ago and I booked her right when I got engaged. My sister in law booked her for her wedding too! Lauren was fantastic! From the trial to the day of my wedding, she was consistent and professional. She not only perfected my style, she did six completely unique styles for my bridesmaids and moms. Each girl had completely different textured hair, style requests, and preferences and Lauren executed each one flawlessly. We've all been in wedding parties before, and we all agreed that Lauren was the best. I would absolutely work with her again.

Ooh la la beauty was amazing!! She was able to do all four of my bridesmaids updos PERFECTLY just by looking at a few pictures! I also had an AMAZING experience with my hair trial and loved it all over again on my wedding day! I just wish my half up hairstyle was a bit tighter as some curls became loose right after the ceremony and we couldn’t get them to tuck back in. But overall my girls and I had a wonderful experience getting ready with Lauren on Wedding Day morning!
