As someone who generally gets very oily and a sweaty face over time, that never happened on my wedding day. We started at 8 am and my makeup still looked flawless at 3 am when I was taking it off. Our hair made it through some rain and humidity without any issues. What I wanted to do with my hair on my wedding day was different than my trial, and Ashlyn had no problem with the change and made it look perfect. . We would absolutely recommend Lauren and her team!

We went for a tighter wave/curl and they lasted the 12+ hours between all of the (outside) photos through all of the dancing. She was SO speedy and gave all of the girls exactly what they wanted! I can't recommend Lauren enough! I will say, too, she was very affordable and within the range I was looking to spend, for both bridal hair and bridesmaid hair.

Lauren was confident that she would be able to do the hairdo I wanted on my wedding day without a trial; therefore I opted to do something different. hair and makeup for bridal shower were stunning, I felt so beautiful. I put my faith and trust in Lauren and her makeup stylist because they are good at what they do. I not only found her on The Knot but I knew of her business because my Matron of honor had her for her wedding day as well and right then I knew I had to have her because I already saw her work in action and knew she they would be able to do whatever I asked for. I booked her the minute we got in touch. Through my two year engagement, Lauren was responsive when necessary and she executed everything I hired her for. she was so kind and positive every time we spoke and I am so lucky to know her. The wedding day finally came around and I became so conflicted in which style to go with. Lauren was patient and asked all the right questions to help me solidify what I truly was looking for. With a few Inspiration photos and a quick conversation, Lauren absolutely executed my hair. Before seeing it in the mirror all my ladies were stunned at the job that she did. All my girls had a different hair due and she executed all of them, but my hair as the bride, she just made it really stand out in a way that if we were all dressed the same you would know that I was the bride. I felt so beautiful and it was such a special moment for me. Lauren has an amazing team of makeup artists. I was so impressed with Lexi because she had such a wide variety of makeup to match any skin color and it was SO refreshing. all the girls had something a little different and she just made us all feel like stars. Lexi came with a wide variety to choose from, and her professionalism and the way she did each of our makeup was so clean and fresh. All of her brushes were clean, all of her makeup she used on each girl was squeezed onto her clean refreshed hand every time a new girl sat in her chair. I was so impressed by the wonderful performance she did. All of my ladies were pleased with everything they got. Even at the end, we asked for a few minor touchups and OohLala didn't hesitate to step in. This team is amazing and I highly recommend having them for any special occasion you may have. My entire bridal party was so happy with both hair and makeup and it made the day perfect. My makeup also looked spectacular in pictures, so natural and beautiful. Highly recommend.

trayed and the disrespect I was shown. I booked Ooh lala for my October 2021 wedding a year in advance. Lauren was my point of contact and when I emailed her in June of 2021 to discuss my bridal trial she brushed me off and said to wait until 3 months prior to my wedding. So I asked if we could schedule a date in the meantime so that it was booked as my calendar was filling up. She then did not respond for a month. After a month I sent another email- no response. It was 2 months before my wedding and she was no longer responding to me. So clearly it sent me into a panic and frenzie to find new hair and makeup. After 3 months and several emails unanswered (all while continuing to post on social media) I sent a final email formally stating I wanted to terminate our contract due to her unprofessionalism and lack of communication. She responded right away and claimed that I had not emailed her and that it was the first time she was hearing from me. I sent the PDF print out of our email thread and all of the emails that went unanswered and she continued to play dumb. She was not sincere in her apologies and ignored my concerns and continued to ask about plans moving forward with my wedding. She left such a sour taste in my mouth I was glad that we did not end up working together because I would have been concerned that she would ghost me again prior to (or on!) my wedding day! And now- I have also emailed her several times requesting my deposit back due to her not following through with our contract...she has yet to answer and I have not received my deposit back. I do not want this to happen to any other bride as it added so much unnecessary stress to my wedding planning. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt in this situation, however she was unapologetic and unprofessional in regards to the entire situation. Again, I am not one to write a negative review and even writing this now I feel bad- but she could have ruined my wedding day and gave me so much stress and anxiety that I would never want another bride to experience.
