About this vendor
Sorry we are no longer in business. Thank you for your interest!
Hello Everyone,
After much discussion and soul searching, it is with a heavy heart I am writing to let you know we will be closing our doors as of February 7th.
After evaluating My options due to the impact of unforeseen health circumstances, my Symptoms and the treatment needed to help me get better. This will take time and months before I am on the mends to being 100 %.
I felt the best solution was to close and take care of my body, mind and soul. Although my staff and I have enjoyed our time in Downtown Laconia and serving our community, it is not possible to sustain the cost of running the shop.
I want offer the same quality of service, but it’s just not possible going through my current health condition.
We have been so Blessed getting to know you, sharing in your lives, celebrations, special events and milestones. Over the years you have become like family! You were all apart of a much bigger picture of a dream that was fulfilled for this single mother an I am forever grateful!
I had an amazing 13- year run, and I would like to thank everyone that has supported us over the years. It has been a pleasure to serve each and every single one of you!
Special Thank you to ALL the VENDORS who have referred Ooo La La time and time again!!! You were a great support to me and my little Shop.
Thank you ALL for the LOVE 💕 Forever Grateful
Love,
Chef Allen

Chef Allen was so kind to work with! She has such a friendly personality and was easy to work with. We did have a mix up on our wedding cake the day of, but Chef Allen was very acc...
ommodating at this time! Her cakes are delicious and she is a joy to work with!
Neither the groom nor I are huge fans of cake so we wanted to do something a bit different for our wedding. Unfortunately, all the vendors we looked into for dessert displays were ...
incredibly expensive. That is, until we stumbled into Ooo La La Creative Cakes.
Every item was priced affordably, and they even provided a tasting kit for a small charge which allowed us to try several different desserts and pick the ones we loved the most. The minute I walked into the building to pick up our tasting kit, a wave of vanilla notes mixed with coconut washed over me ... and it was fantastic. I knew we were in the right place! They allowed us to customize our order exactly to our needs and had the most beautiful presentation for each dessert. The blueberry pies and strawberries were gone in no time. We received compliments on all of the desserts and only had a handful of mini cupcakes left by the end of the night. I would definitely recommend Chef Allen and her crew of amazing workers for any dessert needs you might have!
The cake was gorgeous and delicious! There were a couple hiccups with securing a delivery, and contacting each other to make sure we were on the same page for pickup. But otherwise...
I could not have been happier!
The cake was absolutely beautiful and it tasted amazing! Also, Chef Allen was very professional.
I loved this cake so much!!! We did a more basic two tier, and Ooo La La was super receptive in helping me sample, as I'm not a local. I visited and they supplied me with cupcakes ...
made from my selected cake batter as well as cups of frostings so I could try them all in my hotel room. The cake was DELICIOUS. I'm only sad I couldn't have tasted more of it throughout the night!

Months later and we are still getting compliments from our friends and family about how incredible the cake was! Thank you Chef Allen and your team for making our country wedding perfect with your perfect white Birch cake design. We truly appreciate everything you have done for us. I highly recommend Ooo La La for anyone looking to not only feel stress free in the process but also to receive a one of a kind desert.

ct (and delicious) and the guests loved the wide range of desserts she created. She was easy to work her and handled all the details (including coordinating with our florist to include flowers on the cake) - ideal for a stressed out bride in the midst of a pandemic. She did our three tiered cake, cupcakes, and assortment of mini desserts.

I did not have a good experience with Oo La La Cakes. This was one of the only bakeries that could do vegan cakes, so when we met Chef Allen were turned off by her brashness, we ig...
nored it. The week before the wedding I confirmed with Chef Allen the final details, including that our florist would be leaving flowers for her to put on the cake. The day of the wedding she dropped off the cake and didn’t check in with anyone. When I saw it, I was very disappointed to see she didn’t use our flowers and made some sugar flowers instead. They looked nothing like anything else at our wedding. When I asked her why she did that - she cited a conversation a year ago when we booked that I said I might want sugar flowers. She said she was confused. She didn’t have an answer for why she didn’t contact me, or our caterer the minute she was unsure, or why she didn’t go by our most recent exchange. She didn’t even say anything when she saw the flowers sitting on the cake table. She placed them on the ground and left. I was refunded $50 for the sugar flowers, but still paid full price for the cake and $60 on wasted flowers from our florist. I’m very disappointed as this was supposed to appear in a vegan weddings special in a magazine, and now we cannot use photos of our cake.
Ooo La La Creative Cakes is amazing! Our wedding cake was perfect and we also had four different types of cupcakes. Everything was incredibly delicious!

s! We ordered six different cake flavor/buttercream combos, and they were all a hit. 108 cupcakes plus a cake that fed 35 people, and we had almost no leftovers! Chef Allen was amazing to work with in the pre-wedding process as well. We did a tasting with her (definitely one of my favorite parts of the whole planning process!) and it was such a fun way to make our decisions and get all of our questions answered. I highly recommend Ooo La La Creative Cakes for any of your cake needs!

ng it 2 days later and it still tasted great! Then we got a bunch of mini desserts (Whoopie pies, cheesecake & chocolate covered strawberries.) They must’ve been good because they disappeared so fast, I didn’t even get to try any. I would recommend this bakery!

id the $2 per person cutting fee charged by our venue and give our guests several options. We also had a number of gluten free guests and were able to order a half dozen gluten free cupcakes to accommodate them. Our cutting cake not only looked amazing (birch bark design with our initials carved into it) but it tasted amazing. We were also able to rent a very cute wooden stand that fit our rustic theme perfectly.

hooters. I remember one point at the wedding I b-lined it for the dessert display and stayed camped there until I had one of everything. Our wedding coordinator suggested 3 mini’s per person and when we asked Chef Allen she was very accommodating and helped add to our order. She even offered us a gluten free option and made a small batch of different flavors for our few gluten free guests. I would recommend the almond cake with strawberry frosting!
Chef Allen and her team did an amazing job for our December wedding at Church Landing. All of the desserts were delicious. We had a small cake for cutting, cupcakes, mini cannoli...

ad of cake we really wanted a different type of desert for our wedding. The shooters & mini cakes they have were perfect and so tasty. We got 200 pieces for our wedding of 130 people and they were all gone by the end of the night. They did a great job setting everything up it looked great. We can't wait to go there again just for a treat.

kes we have ever had! We selected 2 flavors of cake to allow our guests to try both flavors tha We loved : the lemon blueberry cake with lemon chiffon frosting and the chocolate cake with Godiva frosting. I mean really, do I need to say more? They were to die for!
The design was exactly what we were looking for. Just beautiful.
Thank you Chef Allen!! See you in a year for our anniversary cake!

for me. Everyone talked about how great the cake was.
The whole process with her was easy and I am grateful for that. We walked through the cake and designed it and then gave her all the critical information for drop-off, etc and the cake showed up at Hobbs looking great.
She worked with our florist and planner to make sure the flowers and cake topper all made it onto the cake and the table looked lovely. We had a little bit of a mix up on the contract and she was quick to come up with a creative compromise to make things work. We really appreciated her flexibility.
Wow wow WOW!!! From our tasting to our wedding day everything was perfect. Chef Allen was amazing. She is extremely talented and everything we ordered was more than delicious. Our ...
guests raved about our mini whoopie pies and mini pies. They flew off our dessert cart!! Thank you!!!
Being miles away from where you plan your wedding is hard. We located Ooo La La creative cakes and contacted Chef Allen. She set up a time we could call and speak about the cake....
We told her exactly what we were looking for. She did a three tier birch butter creame cake for about 30 people. A 7’, 5’, and 3’ round diameter cake. She was always very quick to respond, polite, and friendly through our emails/phone calls. Several times I had questions about the cake or we even added a tier and she adjusted the order for us without a fuss. She brought the cake to the reception on time as asked. Everyone complemented us on the cake and how beautiful the birch turned out to match my theme and how delicious it was. The only down fall is we tried to save the top but it didn’t make it back to Tampa(driving) and ended up eating it on our “pre honeymoon” in New York City! Maybe in the future we will order just a topper at our anniversary next time we are up there! I would recommend Ooo La La to anyone getting married in the Lakes Region area!! She is well worth it!
Where do I start? What an amazing wedding cake we had! Ooo La La Creative Cakes in Meredith, NH was beyond our wildest expectations for a wedding cake. Not only was it stunning to ...
look at, but the taste was heavenly. We had a 2 tier pumpkin spice cake. The bottom layer had a caramel filling and the top layer had a molasses filling. The outside was a vanilla buttercream frosting and designed to look like a birch tree with our initials "carved" into it. All of guests raved about this cake! We cannot begin to explain how delicious it was! We have decided to order a small version of it every year for our anniversary!! Thank you, Lashunda for all of your hard work, your beautiful design, and your fantastic personality. Between the beauty and the incredible taste of this cake, it is obvious that you truly love what you do!
Lashunda is an amazing baker and artist! Not only was the overall presentation of the cake incredible, but most importantly the taste! We had a travel/tropical themed wedding and w...

The most perfect cake!
While our wedding was in my home state of NH, my husband and I currently live in Southern CA. My parents and sister were the ones lucky enough to do the ca...
ke tasting, and they called us an hour later to tell us that it was the best cake they'd ever tasted!
We took their word for it, and yet Lashunda surpassed our expectations on our wedding day! We had a beautiful two-tier cake designed to look like it was wrapped in birch bark (to match our theme). The bottom layer was Red Velvet, and the top layer was Coconut Cream. Even our friends who don't normally like coconut went back for seconds! Lashunda also made 90 beautiful mini cupcakes in a variety of flavors.
Normally, I'm not a big fan of wedding cakes (too dry, and rubbery frosting). Lashunda's cake was not only moist and full of flavor, but the icing was equally delicious and soft! We were also provided with a beautiful birch cake stand which completed the look.
I highly recommend Ooo La La Cakes! The ONLY regret that we have is that we didn't order a bigger cake!
I can’t say enough about Lashunda! My husband and I live out in California and so we were a little bummed that we wouldn’t be able to do a traditional cake tasting! Little did we k...
now, Lashunda was able to send us a variety of cupcakes to try! This was so above and beyond anything we hoped for! I even sent Lashunda the cupcake liners I wanted and she was able to use them! I only wish that I had the chance to meet her in person! The delivery was on time, and cupcakes were perfect! I would absolutely recommend Ooh La La Cupcakes for your next event or wedding!
We did quite a bit of research while picking a cake vendor and had three tastings. Our experience at Chef Allen's cake tasting was head and shoulders above the rest. For one thing,...
her cake is to die for. It's out of this world delicious and I love that she did the tasting with different cupcake flavors that we could then mix and match with different toppings and fillings. She was extremely professional and it was also obvious that she is a true artist and takes great pride in what she does. The cake came out AMAZING!! It blew everyone away both from design and taste. I will say if you have trouble contacting her over email give a call, she's seriously the best in the area and her prices are reasonable, albeit a bit higher than the other vendors we did tastings from. The extra price is fully justified by her professionalism and amazing results. I only wish I loved closer so I could order more of her delicious cakes!
We really enjoyed working with Lashunda to create our dream wedding cake. We had a Snow White theme to our wedding, and she created a beautiful cake with a tree and adorable woodla...
nd creatures. It was absolutely beautiful and it tasted amazing! We had 2 layers of Lashunda's signature flavor (champagne cake, white chocolate, and strawberry preserve filling) and 1 layer of chocolate cake with peanut butter and fudge filling. Both flavors were decadent and delicious! In addition to our wedding cake, we also had Lashunda make a surprise birthday cake for my mom for the rehearsal dinner. It was a beautiful purple pillow, with marble cake and Nutella filling, and it was topped with an edible silver tiara. Both cakes were exactly what we wanted and we would highly recommend Lashunda and Ooh La La Creative Cakes!
Fabulous fabulous wedding cake- both beautiful and a yummy dessert in its own right. We couldn't have been happier with the cake and the professionalism of the company.
I can't say enough about how good our wedding cake was! #1, as a bride, you don't always get to eat at your wedding... well I made time to eat this cake! We had 4 tiers, all differ...
ent flavors, covered in a white buttercream. It was absolutely delicious and worth every penny. Chef Allen is super talented and professional, our cake arrived early and she even decorated it with fresh flowers on site.
Ooo La La is the best place to get your wedding cake in the lakes region. I can't wait to have another excuse to order a cake!
