We began Open Country Weddings as an idea that formed between the minds of an entrepreneur and a wedding-lover, and we wanted to see how we could shift the wedding industry into a different light. Our business has foundations built from home, made with care, and strengthened by devotion. The owners of OCW, Sara and Tyler, are born and raised Southern California natives. Sara grew up in the Temecula valley wine country, and has been surrounded by the rustic chic and ever evolving aesthetic that is the wedding industry. Tyler has always had a dream to becoming a business owner, and strives each day to make this company as best as it can be. Beginning in our garage, we make all of our farmhouse tables by hand; sanded, stained, and sealed with love and decades of craftsmanship. Each of our items are cleaned and cared for and ready for each event as if they are brand new. We work tirelessly to curate the best possible outcome for your event—going beyond what is asked of traditional rental companies. Being an engaged couple ourselves, we know and understand well just how stressful planning a wedding can be, and we are committed to easing your stress and introducing relaxation and ease to your wedding day—and any event! We are driven by impeccability, and strive each and every day to be as best as we can be.
We offer more than just event rentals as well. We have coordination on hand, as well as proposal and engagement photography. In the quaint, quiet middle of Temecula Wine Country lies our wedding venue. Resting on 3.5 acres in the hills, away from the main roads and wineries, our venue offers a few things all the wineries can't:
- Budget Friendly. We won't charge you an arm and a leg to get married. Our pricing is far below what other Temecula Venues offer.
- DIY. Our venue allows you to bring in the vendors you want, and not force you to choose from a pre-curated list. We do have a list we've made as suggestions to keep your day within the budget you've set, but it is by no means mandatory.
- Quiet! Because our venue is not an operational winery, but rather private property, the day of your wedding will be quiet--with only your people on site--and not the general public.
