isted on their website and were within our budget. Long story short we paid a deposit to reserve our date and NEVER met with anyone from the company. The owner and dj had emailed me on occasion, but we never met in person and when we tried to set up a walk through of the venue with the dj, he ended up completely blowing us off. The owner made excuses for the dj, offered to assign me another dj and then accused me of not getting back in touch with them after they bombarded my phone with calls and emails when I told them I wanted my deposit back. At that point I realized that I couldn't trust them with my wedding that was just 3 weeks away. I found Optimun Entertainment on the knot. I emailed the owner with the subject "help" and he replied super quick. He validated my concerns that this other company seemed fishy, told us that he would take care of us and personally be our dj for our wedding!!! Our wedding was in Rocklin/Loomis and we live in Oroville. Most of our Vendors were out of the Sacramento area. David was the first vendor to offer to meet us in Oroville at our favorite coffee shop. He offered to buy us coffee and the best part was that we got to meet an actual human in the flesh. He sat down with us and went over so many details we would have never thought about. We were floored with the amount of things that would have been missed by the other dj. David also gave us suggestions for our time line and showed us the difference between photos when picking a time for certain events. When it came to music, he really knew his stuff. He knew what artists we were talking about and gave us suggestions for songs but he never forced his suggestions on us. If we didn't like something or had a different idea, he found a way to make it work nicely. David was the perfect mc all night. Several of my guests told me how professional and fun he was. I even heard that the playlist was amazing and something that they would want to have for themselves. I had guests dancing until the last song. David cares about his product, that is very obvious, but he also cared that our big day was a success. There are djs who are out to just make money and there are djs that are really rooting for their clients and want their event to be perfect. David is most certainly someone who cares. That's all we ever wanted and we definitely got it.

He genuinely is so excited about the two of you and making you feel important and making sure your entire day is exactly what you want it to be. He went out of his way to come meet us by driving a few hours on a Sunday morning, went out of his way to rent a key board for us, went our of his way to constantly check in with us via phone and email throughout the year and went out of his way to communicate with our parents for special songs for mother son & father daughter dances, went out of his way to help our best men, went out of his way to help our maids of honor. He made us feel so comfortable, brought great ideas to the table and gave amazing guidance on stuff we needed his help with. David truly played a HUGE role in making it such an awesome event. On our wedding day we were seriously so blown away by how fun our party was and that is simply because we hired the best DJ in the world! We highly recommend everyone works with DJ Alazzawi, he will always make sure you are "ALL DIALED IN!"

When I arrived, he and my fiance were sitting on my couch, and DJ Alazzawi was helping my fiance clip my cats nails! How amazing is that? But that's just the type of person DJ Alazzawi is- he is very easy to talk to, friendly, sweet - and clearly goes above and beyond for his clients! The cat grooming was just the first example of how DJ went above and beyond your typical DJ Job Description... let's just say you're getting more than just someone who plays music at your wedding. Way more. Before the wedding, I experienced exceptional customer service from DJ Alazzawi. He replied to dozens (hundreds?) of my emails promptly and with great detail and thoughtfulness. Stuck on choosing a song? He will have a bunch of suggestions for you. Have an artist you just HATE? Add it to his 'do not play' list and he'll respect your wishes. Change your mind last minute about something? Adding a toast? Changing your first dance song? No problem. DJ will receive your request, confirm it, and execute your every wish. He even has a spreadsheet for you to fill out to make sure you don’t miss ANYTHING with your song selections (bouquet toss, first dances, grand entrance etc) and also anything related to an event where someone is talking in a microphone (the ceremony, the toasts, etc). He offers experienced suggestions based on your personal desires for your wedding day. Day OF the wedding? You can trust him to basically BE your Wedding Day Coordinator- keeping the timing of the day on track, controlling the crowd and making sure all of your guests are where they need to be. He was punctual, professional, and engaging. He's talented which means he knows how to keep the dance floor packed and really plays to the crowd. When more than one person requested a song from my ‘Do Not Play’ list, DJ came and found me to ask permission to play the song! YES! This is why I hired you, DJ Alazzawi. You were nothing short of amazing from the day we met to the last call at the wedding. I feel bad for any couple who doesn’t hire you for their wedding because I know it won’t be as flawless and special as the day you created for my husband and I. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I hope we can keep in touch (at least as Facebook friends!)
