Secluded in the hills, its quiet setting offers beautiful views in any season. The Farm’s eight buildings can accommodate over 30 guests overnight and space for a 150 person event. You can hold your ceremony in the unique chapel space. This site overlooks the tranquil property, making it the ideal spot in which to exchange your vows. The barn has a fetching red exterior, ideal for wedding portraits, and the typical Vermont atmosphere. The property itself allows you to take advantage of a panoramic view of the grounds as you celebrate. Services Offered OQ Farm offers a number of different services as part of its wedding packages. You can enjoy event rentals such as chairs, tables, tents, flatware, glassware, lighting, and more. The events team at the venue is happy to work with you in order to help you make the most out of the property. Outside vendors can be included in your celebration to help you personalize it further. For your convenience, there is ample parking available on the property.

how unique the hidden location was. It created the perfect atmosphere for our wedding weekend. Beyond the setting, Aileen and her husband, who run OQ Farm, were an absolute joy to work with. They were so accommodating throughout the planning process and made everything feel effortless. Their care, warmth, and attention to detail truly made the weekend what it was. We are endlessly grateful for their kindness and for sharing such a magical place with us. OQ Farm will forever hold a special place in our hearts. It was the perfect backdrop for the best weekend of our lives.

above and beyond to make us feel so welcomed during our stay. Our guests absolutely raved about the venue and some have even booked themselves a trip back!!! All the behind-the-scenes help was so important and I simply cant say enough good things!!! If we hadn't found OQ Farm, I think we would still be looking for a venue!

dding weekend, and the whole three days, it was ours to be with family and friends to celebrate. The accommodations are super comfortable and allow for a ton of flexibility on how you may want to manage your weekend. We had our ceremony on the hillside, our cocktail hour by the old farmhouse, and the reception in a tent. It was perfect. Not only is the venue itself so beautiful, working with Aileen was great. She was not only incredibly responsive, kind, and helpful in the planning, but she ensured that the execution of the weekend went seamlessly. Because we had so many people staying on the property (~35), we asked Aileen to help cater food for Sat during the day and Sunday brunch. She did so and it was easy to plan, so delicious, and did not break our budget. Aileen truly went above and beyond to bring our vision to life and we look forward to visiting OQ for years to come!! If you want true VT charm, gorgeous rolling hills and the privacy of the venue to yourself, look no further and just go with OQ!!

summer camp! We took a dip in the river every day, saw the animals, and enjoyed long walks through the verdant farmland with views of Vermont’s green mountains! Just wow! The accommodations are great. Groomsmen got ready in the “refectory” and bridesmaids in the “manse” an old colonial farmhouse, which worked out perfectly. Also very nice spaces for photos. But the crown jewel is the ceremony location! Perched on an intimate hilltop with expansive views of rolling green hills. It was pure magic. We had about 200 guests seated up there. We then enjoyed cocktail hour by the farm animals, a tented reception in the riding ring, and an epic afterparty in the chapel. It was amazing to have all of the different events of the wedding day all onsite, but in different areas of the property which created a great “flow” for the day into night. To top it all off, the owners are kind, accommodating, and lovely to work with. Our wedding planner remarked how clear and communicative they were, which made planning easy. OQ Farm is now a place we’ll cherish forever!

as a backdrop for the ceremony. Booking this site included all the houses on the property, which was such a blessing for my family. The ability to put all of us up for the weekend (which extended through Monday!) was huge. Most of all, the owners of the property were very attentive and answered all of my questions promptly. This is exceptional since ownership of the OQ Farm actually traded hands a couple months before my wedding. But the transition was seamless; both owners (the previous one, Marina, and the current one, Aileen) were there for whatever I needed. Additionally, the caretaker that was on site for the weekend (Stephanie) was super helpful! She was constantly checking in and seeing if there was anything we needed. We ended up borrowing a fair number of things from her, including an additional table and a mop for cleaning the dance floor. Overall, the OQ Farm is the best choice for anyone who wants an outdoor wedding in Vermont. It is the perfect blend of rustic charm and comfortable living and is the best location to highlight Vermont's natural beauty. Also, the alpacas are so cute! Some of our guests got to feed them under Stephanie's supervision.
